Rate this book
An industry leader's guide to making Lyft and Uber work for you. In less than five years, ridesharing has grown from nonexistence into a billion dollar industry. Uber now has two million drivers in the United States, Lyft has seven hundred thousand, and both show no signs of slowing down. Despite the large number of drivers, Uber and Lyft provide little in the way of help for new drivers, who complain that there is a lack of guidance when starting out. Harry Campbell, founder and director of The Rideshare Guy blog and podcast and a driver himself, can help. The Rideshare Guide offers a comprehensive and engaging handbook for current and prospective rideshare drivers. Learn how Decide between Uber and LyftMaximize passengers and profitsMaintain a five-star ratingKeep safe and interact appropriately with passengersNavigate legal matters and tax codes Campbell explains these and much more, also including funny, shocking, and bizarre tales from the road. I received an advanced copy in exchange for an honest review.

Everyone who works for Uber or Lyft or who are thinking about the Rideshare Industry should buy this book!

Henry Cambell talks about all aspects of both major companies very well. Shares stories from other drivers who are on the road.

He tells how to "work smarter rather than harder". Talks about the equipment we need as drivers to do our job safety and more efficiently!

This book will never gather dust on my bookshelf as I will always refer back to it in case I have a question. So glad I got this book in time for tax season.

This book is a wealth of information for people driving for Uber or Lyft as well as any potential drivers who are looking to start driving for either of these services.

Many of this information could be used by people for their local rideshare company or app, it starts on how to start with driving, to maximise earnings, handle hose earnings while paying taxes and ends with talking about the future of driving even involving the discussion on self-driving cars.

There is a lot of opportunities for many startups to utilise the sheer amount of driver workforce available to monetise their products with or advertise their brand which is also mentioned in the book which I am sure not many people might have thought of.

It is a must-read for anyone who feels they do not get enough support or idea on the essential of ridesharing.

I have been driving with rideshare companies for a few months now, so even though the first half of the book was not the most helpful for me, I gleaned a few things of the latter half and am currently putting them to practice on the road. Definitely a good companion read to refer to between rides when out on the Lyft/Uber beat. If rides...and cash are wearing thin, just request it at your local library!

You need this book

I've been driving for 8 months now, I wish I knew about this book when I started. If you are a timeshare driver then you need this book. I plan on keeping this book with me when I drive. This is an excellent book.

As a driver and now, 2nd year business owner, have benefited from your collected RideShare wisdom. Now, if only all RideShare drivers would only see themselves as "independent business owners"...

Thanks again,

Charlotte
