Random Thoughts
Author was born in 1939 in what is now Pakistan. His family migrated to India in 1947. He had his early education in village school and completed his education with Masters and PhD in Mathematics. He has been engaged in teaching and research since 1960. Besides teaching and research the author has also been interested in metaphysical and spiritual aspects of life. The present work is an outcome of these aspects of his life.
Ever since childhood author has been wondering about the nature of universe, concept of God, who am I and related subjects. The present book is an outcome of his musings on such subjects. In writing this book the author has been influenced by the books and the articles which the author has been reading about these topics over the years. The ideas and views presented here are those which have fascinated and appealed to the author. It is hoped that some of these ideas and views will find a resonant chord in the reader.
The book has a chapter devoted to Universe, its origin and possible future. A chapter devoted to the concept of God. A chapter about 'What am I?'. Another chapter on human nature and its various attributes. A chapter on religion, spirituality and faith. The book concludes with a chapter where miscellaneous topics dealing with contradictory tendencies in human life.
