I thoroughly enjoyed reading about the life of William Carey. The author did a great job telling about his life as a story instead of just lists of facts. Carey’s consistent faith in God and his perseverance in difficult and tragic times is so inspiring. Any Christian could glean great lessons from read about Carey’s life.

William Carey is a great subject for a biography. His faith, courage, and determination were incredible. The hardships he and his family endured to attempt to carry out The Great Commission in India 2 centuries ago are inspiring.
