LOVE AND ERRORS is a heartbreaking critique, and yet a heartwarming account, of the personal and collective journey back to connection, love, and peace. In the wake of movements like #metoo, Time's Up Now, and the International Women's March, LOVE AND ERRORS has never been more relevant or necessary.
"Dark's LOVE AND ERRORS maps a terrain of many violences encountered by women, the body, the environment, language, and colonialism, but the voice that threads these poems together speaks of escape, affirmation, celebration and remembering. These poems cast an unshakable examination into how the heart finds small ways and words to maintain its steady thump." - Tara Betts, author of Break the Habit
"I've always loved Kimberly Dark's work, loved the strength and beauty of her renditions, loved the insights and grace of the arrangements of her words… Radical, lovely, I completely fell in love with her and her work when I first heard it and saw her perform." - Jimmy Santiago Baca, Winner, American Book Award, Pushcart Prize, International Prize

Not usually a fan of short stories or poetry... but this book changed my mind. I actually slowed down my usual speed of reading to savor and ruminate as I enjoyed this intriguing book. If I belonged to a reading group (and this just might be the impetus to start one) this would be a wonderful work to have group discussions about.
Compassionate and visceral discourse of intimate life experiences. Each piece struck a chord of remembrance within me, and made me consider some of my own similar experiences. I would like to see more autobiographical and creative writing from this author. Her word pictures are exquisite.

Insightful, straightforward and personal, this collection of poetry was amazing.....i found myself reading some of the poems over and over. They are just so good, so solid. Poems of love, violence, gender roles but mostly about peace and acceptance within ourselves towards each other. Growing up in the environment I did, made this esp, significant to me. Phenomenal!
I love this collection. It’s full of healing and heart. Dark writes with a tone of loving strength and it’s clear what a resilient yet un-hardened, gentle yet fiery human she is, because that’s the way she writes. This book is one of the few I keep page-flags in, flipping often to “After Five” and “Nearing Adulthood” and “Everywhere We Go.” This is a raw and honest and kind recognition of human emotion, and I treasure it.
