I began writing in 2010 while sailing down the freeway in our RV. I love to place my characters in unlikely situations where escape is questionable, yet freedom is possible through God's power and His Word. I'm a retired teacher turned author and live with my husband in beautiful Alabama.

**I was given the book Flawless in exchange for my honest review.**
First a huge Thank You June Foster for giving me this book in PDF. I loved it. This book is a little Romance/Fiction/love story/and so much more. Now let me tell you why I loved the book. Obviously no one is born flawless no matter how good we look. I liked how this book was about a guy who had a problem with alcohol and his weight. He kicked the alcohol problem but when he did that's when all the weight started piling on and he couldn't lose the weight. To find out more please read the book. I recommend this book to everyone. It's a teaching tool.

Author June Foster writes stories about everyday people with unique situations. We all have something in our lives that can cause worry. How we deal with the worry affects our lives and the lives of those around us. In this sweet story, two very different people have the opportunity to find confidence and possibly love. A great story.

This is a sweet Christian romance, very typical of sweet June Foster's books. I am privileged to call her friend.

Jess Colton, the hero in this book, is a flawed human being. Jess meets the heroine, Holly Harrison, in a stuck elevator in the upscale Seattle apartment building they both call home. Jess works to calm the panicky woman as he summons help from the apartment manager.

Holly is impressed with this gentle man. She looks through his size to the warm heart and begins to feel an attraction. She trusts him--but not with her secret--or secrets. No one knows them but her sister and her former boyfriend. And even he doesn't know the worst part of her secret.

Jess's overeating is hard to hide--his weight is too obvious. When he's around Holly, he restrains himself, but when she's not there, he cannot. The sweets call to him with a siren song that he can't resist.

Both of them have well-meaning families who try to "help" them. Jess's father and sister constantly berate him about his weight, offering not only criticism but way too many suggestions. Holly's sister constantly reminds her of past sins and that God couldn't possibly love her or forgive her. The problem is that both Jess and Holly believe what they're told.

It takes a deadly crisis to bring them both around. But I'm not going to tell you what it is--you'll have to buy the book yourself to find out what happens. Flawless is available through Amazon.

Flawless

This is an amazing book. I could feel the emotions of the characters. Jess has a hard time dealing with his emotions and turns to food but it can endanger his health. Holly has a past she is ashamed of. Jess and Holly becomes friends, she deals with her sister and he deals with his dad. Love the name of the book. Which did not understand why it was called that until through most of the book. A very inspiring book, jess deals with a weight issue which is a subject very hard to approach. Love all the characters and how God worked in their lives. I received an complementary copy of the book from the author, my review is my own opinion.

Flawless by Author June Foster is a fabulous book. A lot of us have flaws, but many never notice them. I was impressed with the author's writing of the storyline and how she used her characters. This book has emotions, troubles, twists and turns. I highly recommend to read this book. For me, it brought emotions, but also remembering how I should look at flaws. I also enjoyed the romance in Flawless and I'm looking forward to Book Two in Woodlyn series.

I received a copy from the publisher, but was not required to review it. This review is one hundred percent my opinion.

Flawless is a clean romance with believable characters and an interesting story.

I liked the fact that the characters are not physically or spiritually perfect and that the story shows their personal growth.

I liked the fact that the protagonists are able to look beyond physical imperfections and notice the real person that they are interacting with.

There are a few minor details that I found distracting, but overall this is a fun read.

I received a copy of the book from the author, but my review was voluntary.

I loved this story of Holly and Jess because I could relate to both of them. How often do we tend to overlook the flaws in someone else and not in ourselves? I love that Jess learned he needed to lean on God’s strength and comfort instead of trying to find it on his own. Holly also learned to depend on God’s strength. This was such a sweet and relatable story. I would recommend it.

Worth reading

Gave me food for thought. Shows some understanding for how obese people feel. Acknowledges the stereotypes in the general population. Shows how often abusive connects are said out loud to people who are over weight but also show that others do this because of their own insecurities. Most of all it shows God's love
