G. Bailey is a USA Today bestselling author of books that are filled with everything from dragons to pirates. Plus, fantasy worlds and breath-taking adventures. Oh, and some swoon-worthy men that no girl could forget. G. Bailey is from the very rainy U.K. where she lives with her husband, two children and three cheeky dogs.
Run Little Bear is the second book in The Forest Pack series. In it, you will meet Gold. If you're read the first book you would've met her then. If you haven't done that, then welcome to the second book.
Now Gold wants nothing to do with a mate. She has no desire for that kind of life. Well, in the beginning she did. However, once she finds out she has 4 mates and not just the normal 1.. things got a bit interesting. Triplet bear shifters and one wolf were intriguing enough for me to keep tapping the pages on my kindle. I wanted to get right down to the smut and I also wanted a happy ending for everyone involved.
This book definitely delivered in those areas and I'm kind of pumped for another book. If that ever becomes an actual thing.

This is the second book in the forest pack series. I think that despite this one being even shorter, more fast paced and just as convenient the chemistry between the characters made this one better than the first. Honestly these just feel like novellas that should be coming between the real stories. There seems to be some backstory here between these characters already that wasn't fully revealed in this story.
Gold, our FMC, is on the hunt for yet another rogue only to find yet another mate. The 3 bears she sent home not quite ready to be their lady. This rogue is different though, not feral like the others. Something is off and there seems to be a plot all pointing to the royal family. Now Gold must hide her new found mate and at the same time solve the mystery before she ends up with no mates at all.
Everything is just moving so dang fast.. its kind of hard to grasp. Basically you just need to jump on in and hold on for dear life.
Run Little Bear by G. Bailey is the second book in The Forest Pack series, which is a fairytale retelling of Goldilocks.
Gold’s most recent mission to capture and kill a rogue wolf, changes when she finds he’s her mate. The only place that Gold can protect him is with the bears, who just happen to have her other mates in the Bearlay Pack. The mating bond with each of her 4 mates (this is a reverse harem, not a menage this time) Callum, Chase, Cain and Rogue are as individual as are her mates.
This book is a reverse harem, whereas the first book was a menage, but are from Run Little Wolf.
These stories can be read as a stand-alone, as each book is set around a different MC, however it is best to start with Run Little Wolf as the secondary characters do appear in this story.
Second book in the series, however each book is a standalone with the romance. I enjoyed this book, but I've given it four stars as I did feel that Gold's story was a little rushed. I felt that there could've been several chapters more building up the relationship between Gold, her three bears and her rogue wolf mates. Instead it all went by far too quickly and there really wasn't much time for them to get to know each other. Aside from that I enjoyed all the new characters and I liked that we got to see old ones make an appearance too. I feel the third book will have the big denouement that Run Little Bear was building up to. Yes there is a small cliffhanger at the end but that's leafing us onto Snow's story.
Another FANTASTIC installment!! G. Bailey has done it again!! I can't wait for book 3!
In book one we met "little red riding hood" in book 2 we met "Goldie locks and her 3 bears" G takes old nursery stories and spins them and inter weaves them to give us a new and exciting world that once you enter you never want to leave
I loved this book so much, I knew it was a 5 star book. Then I hit the end and it finishes at about 82% with this huge freaking cliffhanger! I detest cliffhangers!!!
G. Bailey is so creative! I've been waiting for "Run Little Bear" for months after I finished " Run Little Wolf". I had a lot of questions I wanted answered and all I got were more questions and a deeper storyline that blindsided me. How fun is that!? Not only does the plot twist but I got to meet some cool new mates. Personally I'm not into this multi mate idea but it's so well written that G. Bailey's mates don't bother me. These bears are charming. Then there is Rogue. His character just seems slightly misplaced. He was either the only idea Bailey had to get Gold into bear pack territory or there will be more to him in the future. I just don't see how he really fits in with the whole mating thing. Like he's a complimentary item...like shampoo at a hotel. Um...ok. It's not bad but just there. Waiting unhappily for the third book. I need closure on Snow and Erik. Erik doesn't deserve Snow (just had to get that off my chest...thanks), what's with the prince (is he locked up too?), what is the queen's evil plan, what are the stones for, will they free all those lost shifters, will they find the bears dad or will we learn the queen made him crazy (I doubt he's gone), what about Coltons sister in the last book (did she wake up and is she Tam's mate since he can't heal her?)... question overload. See. Two books in and lots going on. I need answers G. B. Overall, a fast read. Lots of plot and background story incorporating new and old characters.
This second book in the Forest Pack series gives up more information on Gold. She is fierce, she's strong both physically and emotionally and her sassy attitude will have you laughing out loud. She has been carrying guilt and heartache from her past, and she has learned to push people away and deal with things on her own. The only person she really relies on id her twin brother Erick. She will need to forgive herself and let go if she ever wants to live a fulfilled life. Gold soon realises that finding happiness and choosing to hold onto it is worth everything else that does and will come along. Her Rogue and the three "C"'s, as I've dubbed them, are her perfect mates in all aspects. Each of her mates bring out something in her and they are all unique and full of character. The mate choosing and the bonding scenes are steamy and each are unique to the male and their interaction with Gold.
The great part of reading an RH by G. Bailey is that she keeps the scenes on point to the particular character so the story doesn't ramble or go astray. When you begin a book by G. Bailey prepare to never want to stop and when you do finish be prepared for the book hangover!
This is the second book in the series. Reading Run Little Wolf would be a good idea. This book jumps right into the story with little recap. I like how fierce the FMC, Gold, is. She is a strong and capable lady and her mates recognize that. I feel like this story could have used a little more development. I feel like the last book had more substance to it. While I don’t mind some sexy times, Gold and one of her mates constantly have an exchange she about how she has to work for his affection and then he basically gives when she goes to him. Good book but I would have liked to have seen more character development.
This book is so good. I wasn't sure at first how I would like that this didn't continue with the couple from the first one but I really enjoyed this! I loved getting to watch Gold fall in love with her mates and coming to terms with it. The only thing I didn't like was that her one mate was called "Rogue" through the whole book even though his name was in a file that she would never read. All in all, this was a wonderful book that you should read. Waiting in excitement for the next installment to come out to find out what happens next!!
Run Little Bear is the second book in the Forest pack series. It picks up shortly after Run Little Wolf and I would recommend reading that first as there are quite a few references and relationships. I liked Gold from Book 1 - she is pretty fierce and protective. The story moves along quickly and we find out a little bit more about what is going on with the shifters, but it also raises more questions. I does have a cliffhanger at the end, and I am looking forward to Snow’s story!
I have to say that I am a fan of the fairy tales I has read to me and then read on my own. There is something about the unknown and mystery and at the same time the idea of a Happy Ever After. Gem has made the first book of the series, and now the second book in my Favorites list and Highly Recommend! This continues with the characters from run little wolf and friends and family involved!
I want more! This was way too short of a book but oh so good in content! I love Rogue, I honestly think I am ruined by that name. All my fav bad boys that are actually sweet hearts are named Rogue. We get to see a bit more into Gold's life and she finally accepts her mates. Love it! Love it! Love it! The ending though 👌. That plot twist that you kinda see coming but you still get the shock value when it comes!! Couldn't recommend more!
This is the 2nd book in the Forest Pack Series of books. Its Gold's story (or Goldilocks as the fairytale goes). It continues on from Gold doing a runner in Run Little Wolf book 1. Gold is still avoiding her three hot bear shifter mates. Which she would have done quite well until a spanner in the works turns up in another unlikely and unwanted mate. He needs help & she the bearley pack (her mates) for a favour which they are only too willing to help her with. This starts off a loads of different predicaments that both sexy & some are funny. This includes a missing kid & 4 shifters that are quite a handful. Loved Gold as a character. Shes fierce, Loyal, Bad-assed and smart-assed. I agree with other reviews on here it seemed a bit short. Mainly because i read it so quickly. That was a killer cliffhanger which follows onto Snow's story in the next book. Looking forward to that one
I was a little disappointed with this book. There was a lot of grammatical errors that really took away from the book. I felt like the relationships between Gold and her mates was forced and strained. There didn’t seem to be a real connection at all. At least not that I felt. We didn’t really get to know them.
This is almost felt like it was written by a different author. G. Bailey is an amazing writer but this book fell flat.
Well it was wasn't quite as good as the first book, but it was still good and it makes me want to finish up the series. The downside to this book is that it didn't have any of the mates included. Oh, but, one of them for one chapter. So not really worth it. Whatever happened to Chase, Rogue, and Cain? Cullen got a chapter, but the others didn't. Which isn't fair to them. So let's see how the story unfolds in the next book, yah?
The plot was such that it could have easily been a high Fantasy tales complete with Shifters, Vampires, Elves and all supernatural species.
The story was good, but I cannot take it beyond that. The fight scenes and the ends of the first two books were too abrupt. I liked the characters but I just felt that it was over too soon. The kind of plot points taken on by the author were too wide but were presented in a very narrow view. Kind of like, Been-There-Done-That narration.
Continuing series from Forest Pack in Run little Wolf but with another character in this book... I enjoyed reading about Gold and mates. The ending was like, What!!!! I can’t believe it ended there and I can’t wait to read the next book to see what happens. I am not going to put spoilers. You just have to read it to know what I mean. ;) ;) ;)
This book seemed rushed. There was no depth into the characters no time to truly get to know them. She has sex with them immediately but didn't know them at all. The first book was more detailed and had a stronger story line this one was like a quick read erotica.
Wow what can I say Run little bear 🐻 was so so good read it in 3 hours could not put it down 😊 gold her 3 bears 🐻🐻🐻 and a wolf 🐺 mates yummy 😋 just what you want in a great shifter book 📖 would recommend this to anyone that loves shifters or not because it’s great ....the ending will keep you on your toes wanting more ......hurry up next book 📖 I need to know what happens eeekkkk 😊😍
Gold is amazing. She is a take charge kind of girl and stubborn like nobody’s business. I want my girls to grow up to be like her. And each mate completes her but doesn’t expect her to change. They make her a better person and she supports who they are.
Let me start off by saying that I absolutely love this author and everything she writes, but holy crap that ending is killing me!!! I am left with so many questions and my mind going crazy with what is going to happen next with Eric, the prince and Snow because something has to happen right?!! I am so hooked on this series and I can not wait for the next book!
This entire review has been hidden because of spoilers.
I normally love all of G Baileys books but this one felt a little rushed to me. I still enjoyed reading it but I didn’t feel that immediate love for the three bears. I guess I wish it was a bit longer and that we were able to spend more time with all of the guys. Overall I think was a thrilling story and makes me totally excited for the next book!!
This is a good second book in the series and even though I love Gold as the FMC I felt that this story was a bit rushed. I did get get the connection between them all before they got intimate and i thought that they should have had more time to develop their relationships. I am still excited for what is to come next and enjoy all books written by G. Bailey!
This is the second book in the Forest Pack series. This is about a different set of characters but the story continues on from Run Little Wolf. I did enjoy the story but I did want a little more. I could have done with a little more development in the relationships. Overall though I like the characters and I'm excited to see what we get next.
Another amazing book by G Bailey! This is the second book in the series, though they are all stand-alone books they do also link in together. This series is one of my favourites so far, it’s a complete twist on the old style fairy tales which as a kid I loved so it takes me back to my childhood days but with a full adult twist! I love it! Can’t wait to read more in the series!
Loved this book even more than the first one! I’m book one, Gold was already my favourite and was so excited that she got her own story. She is badass but vulnerable at the same time which makes her such an amazing character. The story ends with a bit of the cliffhanger but that only makes me want the next book more! Great job G. Bailey on another wonderful book.
I loved Gold's story! I've been eagerly awaiting reading how she was going to handle three bear shifters and a rogue wolf, and it was certainly worth the wait. I thoroughly enjoyed it. I loved the drama, danger and intrigue, the developments between Gold and her mates and the progression of the storyline.
This is a twist of Goldilocks and the 3 Bears. G did a fantastic job of character and environment development. This story takes place around a year after book 1. I really enjoyed how the storyline kept me intrigued. I love this series! I recommend this book! *** I have Kindle Unlimited, and I used that service to read this. ***
