I have been addicted to this series since I started reading it. I love the characters and where the book takes place. I enjoy the mystery of the disappearance of Emily's father and where that whole storyline is going. That part really has me wanting to finish the series more than ever because I want to know what happened to him. I have my own theory. I felt like in this book, Emily's character got to be a bit whiney. I hope that doesn't continue through the rest of the series. I absolutely loved the last few chapters of the book. I shed some tears of course. I would definitely recommend this series to anybody that likes "beach reads" or just plain romance/fiction books in general.

Sophie's writing is one of my favorites... I couldn't put this book down.
Emily might act like a kid to some but it's just because the boyfriend she had dictated all her life to the point whereby all she knew was to live someone else's life and not hers.
Quitting her job was the best thing she did which made her find her true self and her ability in her strength....

Desde que empece esta historia me siento como si estuviera viendo un culebron que pasan por television a las 4 pm, donde sabes que no esta muy bueno pero que aun asi quieres saber que mas va a pasar y aqui sigo, queriendo saber como terminara todo con la protagonista, porque despues de todo lo que ha vivido se merece su happy ending...

Can a New York City girl successfully run a small-tourist town B&B? That’s the question in book 3 of the Inn at Sunset Harbor series. Emily is finding that her plans aren’t working out as anticipated and her neighbor is driving her crazy. Should she just throw in the towel, sell out and return to NYC or should she stick it out and see where her relationship with Daniel goes. Add Daniel’s new-found daughter to the mix and it can go either way – disaster or happy every after. I’m really getting involved in this series and can’t wait to start on number 4.

Emily is a selfish leading lady. It's her way or no way. A character that always find fault with everything about the man she supposed to love. A child of 7 that is written so unrealistic. I can't read this series with out an eye roll as to how unappealing Emily is and finding hard to see what Daniel finds attractive in someone who always make him feel like he has to constantly apologize for being him or have his own thoughts and beliefs.

This Emily girl isn't getting more endearing, Daniel has turned into a prime, A-class, Pu**y and there is now a 7 year old that is written with the emotions and vocabulary of 37 year old. Honestly, what in the hell is going on?!

A continuation of Emily and her story of restoring her father’s old home and converting it to a bed and breakfast. This book also follows the development of her relationship with Daniel while Emily sorts through what exactly she wants for her future with him. Will they be a family or is Daniel unwilling to commit?

Another quick little romance to break up my usual thrillers. I will say I am disappointed that one of the character’s names changed. I think in hindsight it’s due to the name being used in book 2 being too similar to Emily’s late sister. But otherwise it was an enjoyable read. I will definitely keep going with the series.

Plodding along...

Book 3 and i am still waiting to get excited about it.

Daniel arrives back and with kid in toe and Emily takes him back straight away and becomes an instant mum. Doesnt blink an eye or ask questions, nothing. Who does that??

It is nice to read about the friendliness of the town and school parents and kids. To see Chantelle grow is nice.

Emilys mother is horrible and there has been no back story explain her bastiness towards Emily.

Sad to see Trevor side stoey but nice for what he did at Thanksgiving. Glad the book finished the way it did.

IsONLY the second series in over 3 decades of reading that I have purchased. I acquire massive amounts of ebooks daily through about 9 different resources that charge me nothing to very little. So when I say that THIS series captured my attention so thoroughly that I HAD TO HAVE the entire set, even paying as much as $6 for an ebook! I hope that is a clear indication of how great these books are. In previous reviews I’ve written about Emily & Daniel, I won’t repeat those words.... I have book #4 to get to!

I feel like this book went on and on but to nowhere. I was not as thrilled with this one and the first two. This series is getting expensive $5.00 for a book with less than 200 pages??? I did get the first two free so I felt that paying $5.00 for the third was not so bad. I'm not sure I will pay to read any of the rest when this could have been a 3 book series with all the books combined. I feel the readers are being taken advantage of

This series just keeps getting better. There are still so many unanswered questions, but I can’t wait to read more of Emily’s trials and triumphs at her B&B. How is things going to go with Daniel back in the picture, with his daughter? Will she be able to pay the back taxes on the property? If you’re looking for a new series, grab this book and fall in love with the small town of Sunset Harbor, Maine.

Good read

Emily's life story will keep you turning pages. Daniel will keep you trying to make him romantic and Chanettel will keep you wondering what next talent she'll has.

The suspense cntinues



Everything continues. And just as you think Emily & David are ready to become engaged Judy shows up & scares & angers Chantelle.. What are they going to do? Can they do something about Judy & can they get custody of Chantelle? Unfortunately you have to wait until the next book comes out. And what about Emily's Dad? Is he alive or dead? It's coming soon.
