Great book! In this collection of essays, you get to hear from the great theologian himself how Moltmann's theology can (and must) speak into the concrete, contemporary (especially but not exclusively of the eighties) ethical situations which the world faces. It's a first hand look at how the 'theology of hope' works itself out in human situations. I recommend this book to anyone who's interested in Christian ethics and/or the theology of Jurgen Moltmann.
This book covers some difficult issues. Despite this, it feels like it addresses these issues in a hit-and-run fashion. Short, deep essays on each topic, loosely woven together through the topic of ethics allows for a reader to explore these topics. It would be a great book to look at the practical side of ethics, but not to gain in depth knowledge of ethics overall.
