This portrait of the Chicago’s World Fair was fair. Would not, not recommend this book but also wouldn’t go out of my way. Rydell’s account of multiple world fairs was more intriguing.
Great pictures and illustrations. The text was a bit on the dry side though. Nothing will compare to Devil in the White City. Can't wait until that is made into a movie. That will be my only chance to "see" what the spectacle of the fair looked like.
