الصحة النفسية للجميع ---> حيث لا يوجد طبيب نفسي
كتاب قرأته مترجماً للغة العربية ولم أجده في الجودريدز

الكتاب مخصص بالدرجة الأولى للعاملين الصحيين (الخبراء في الصحة والطب دونما علم أكاديمي) والذين يعتبرهم أهل القرى مرجعاً عند آلامهم واستطباباتهم لنقل أنهم الممرضون في مستوصف صحي مثلاً ..
كنت أنتظر أن أكون أنا طبيبة نفسي ومعالجتها لكن الكتاب خيب ظني بعض الشيء خاصة أنه يتوجه إلى الناحية الطبية العلاجية والدوائية أكثر من الإرشادية ويتعامل مع الأمر بمنطق المرض البحت كالمرض الجسدي الذي يحتاج دواءً فقط وكأنه سيتخلص به من هذا المعنف أو يقضي على أسباب التعاسة والهم والأمراض ولكن لا بأس بتعلم هذا الشطر الطبي ولكن تعلمه أيضاً لم يكن متاحاً فالأمر تلقيني أكثر منه تعليمي إذ تحال الأمور صعبة الحل دوماً إلى الأطباء والخبراء النفسيين كما أن الأدوية الموصوفة لا تفاصيل كثيرة عنها ومعظم الحلول النفسية التي وردت في الكتاب لا تطبق في المجتمعات العربية ..
إن إضافة قسم الإدمان (مخدرات - كحول - مقامرة) إلى كتاب نفسي هو عين المغالطة فالمخدرات وغيرها أسباب أو نتائج لأمراض نفسية فلا تناقش باعتبارها أمراضاً بحد ذاتها ..

العبرة التي وصلت إليها بعد نهاية الكتاب : الأمراض النفسية هروب جيد للعقل والنفس من الظروف الطاحنة والمشاكل المتكررة ومرضه ما هو إلا إنذار قوي صاعق للظروف المحيطة بأن هذا الشخص ليس على ما يرام ولن يكون جيداً باستمرارها .. إن الدواء أو الإرشاد النفسي للشخص لوحده لن يزيد الأمر إلا سوءاً فهو سيعمل على زيادة مدى الصبر وطاقة الأمل إلى أن ينفجر بالون التحمل ويموت الشخص أو ينتحر احتجاجاً واستهزاء بكل ما آلمه ..

Not sure i would want to give this to someone who is not trained in psychologiy. It gives details of how to prescribe medication for psychiatric problems.
