Where do I even start with this book? Being the second book in the series, it further establishes the strong personalities of the main characters, while adding more characters to the inner circle that prove they are worthy to be included into the group.

The best part of this book is the vulnerability of Vic, and his journey to healing and forgiveness. It feel like I was there going through it all with him, feeling the same emotions; crying in the dark times, and rejoicing in the bright ones.

This one was a bit more exciting than the first of the series. I liked how it built upon the people and relationships in the first book, as well as introducing new characters and locales.
