Hunter Stone follows the trail of a violent gang to a Blackfoot Indian village, where he meets a beautiful missionary woman, and when one of the outlaws turns out to be her brother, he must decide between love and justice
The play between justice and love in this book is so compelling. The Mounties must serve justice, yet how can that coexist with the feelings for those they care about? Forgiveness, duty, restoration, and redemption are all very dominant themes from the beginning of this book.
The sorrow, nerves, and joy I felt along with these characters was so palpable, and really made me realize how every decision we made has an effect on others.
Every single pace of love story is included. A very slow burn still simmers, all the way up to a very fast paced, heartfelt declaration of love.
Per usual, 5/5⭐️, with many tears finding themselves shed. Someone find me a man like Hunter, Vic, or Dirk… I’m not too picky on which!
Wasn’t my favorite one, but the ending made up for it. The back cover hinted at a love triangle but in all reality there was no competition. I was relieved though. I hate love triangles lol
I liked this third book in the series best of all - there was a lot more excitement and several things were tied up in a neat bundle by the end of the book!
