When a flu epidemic strikes the small town of Fort Macleod, Reena is called to minister to the Blackfoot tribe, but chaos erupts as orders are given by the government to remove the Indians to a reservation
And here we are, at the last book of this series. If only I knew how many times this series made me feel all the emotions possible, and just feel so comforted.
All the different storylines proudly showcase each of the character’s personalities. How they grew over time, and just how much each of them need each other.
The author does an amazing job leaving just enough unspoken understanding for the reader’s imagination to fill in the blanks on the character’s futures, yet still leaving that satisfying “all is well” feeling.
“But unto you that fear my name shall the Sun of righteousness arise with healing in his wings; and ye shall go forth, and grow up as calves of the stall.” Malachi 4:2
“Look at that sky as deep as royal blue, and beyond it— God’s heaven. He’s watching us right now, and I can feel His approval, can’t you?”
I thought this was the best one yet in the series! It was a nice balance of romance and action and Christian fiction. It tied up all the loose ends in the series neatly and with a pretty bow on top. :D
