Ari and Logan
I received an ARC copy of this book and voluntarily left a review. I loved how Ari persevered despite all she had been through. Logan was a stand guy and I admired his patience. Great story. The subject matter is a sensitive one but if you can handle it, I reccomend this book for you.

Rescued by the Cowboy: A Small Town Texas Romance

Rescued by the Cowboy is a excellent love story! It's very touching plus it had my emotions tied in knots it brought tears to my eyes but I so enjoyed reading this story because it felt so real. There is a great flow and pace to it along with some very sad but turn happy moments. The characters are adorable, captivating and definitely praise worthy! The main characters are Ari Jackson and Logan Cartwright. I just started reading and enjoying Cowboy stories that's combined with romance. What I enjoy about Ari and Logan their relationship have a slow build up that gets to their blazing hot chemistry. The story deals with a subject that we don't like to talk about, It's Domestic Violence, even though the story is beautifully woven with flashbacks to Ari’s past. It's also hard to read because I wanted to give him a dose of his Medicent. The story has drama, it's passionate with suspense. As more is revealed about Ari's marriage more interesting questions arise about her family and husband. I enjoyed the dialogue between these two and how they worked to solve their issues. When these two do get together, their scenes sizzled. There are some surprise, I really enjoyed Logan's character I found him to be stand up guy who didn't mind helping people any way he could. I also enjoyed Everett and Khole characters. Imani King is a talented and creative author. If you haven’t started reading Imani King yet, then you should make sure to add it to your to-read list. Rescued by the Cowboy can be a great start to the A Small Town Texas Romance series. But I am excited for whatever book Imani King writes next. I Highly Recommend this book.

Broken hearted cowboys need rescuing too!
The moment ranch hand Logan Cartwright saw a bruised Ari Jackson sleeping by a stream, he knew he needed her and wanted to protect the skiddish woman. In order to do that he had to keep her close but not close enough to scare her away. She proved to be a hard working helper to Van Westbrooke and her daughter's on their ranch. Ari was running and hiding from her soon to be abusive and crazy ex husband Daniel Jackson, and it took her courage to do so and file for divorce.
Logan knew that Are would be a hard nut to crack because of her past but he was determined to be patient as long as it took to win Ari's heart. He had never been so drawn by a woman before her. His patience soon won out to gain her love. Little did Ari know that she was healing Logan from his past as well and they would heal together in their own HEA.
Imani wrote a sweet heart felt love story about two people trying their best to heal from their past heart aches. Spousal abuse is a horrible topic in itself let alone trying to deal with the mental anguish it causes the victim as well as others trying to get to know them. Their trust has to be gained first. In this story, Van and her girls have Ari the family she craved and Logan gave her the love and protection she needed.

Two good reads...
I enjoyed both books better than I thought I would. In Rescued...Ari & Logan have so much pain & chaos in their past. Logan was forced to grow up due to immense loss, regrets & grief. Ari lost her Mom too young in life & then she & her sister were betrayed & abandoned by their pathetic callous father & the proverbial wicked stepmother. She jumped out of the pot & into the fire. Fate brings these two together and it's a sweet journey they make finding their true selves & each other.
In "Just Getting Started" I got a kick out of Cullens occupation...Owning a Ranch? Just Too Cool!😊 Graeme is her match in every way. In both stories the relationships build over time. The other characters are wonderful and only add to the stories as a whole. I'll be following up on Cullens' sisters also. Very well done!👍

A short and sweet story with a dash of sexy. Ari was escaping from an abusive marriage running into the arms of a man who turns out to be a dream come true. No more nightmares and toxic relationships for her. Logan is a good guy, who is humble and sexy. They made a good pair. They both overcame tough circumstances to become whom they were meant to be. Loved it! I voluntarily read this book in exchange for my honest opinion.

Loved the story...surprised to find out that Logan's past was marred in pain and regret and to make amends he chose a life so different than what he had growing up and became the responsible person that he knew that his parents may have wanted him to be. Ari's perseverance in a life of struggle and lose is and was inspiring. Loved the interaction between all the characters and especially the secondary ones. Overall wonderful book. Is there an Everett and Khloe story in the future?

Love this! Ari needs an example of a good man in her life and Logan is the man! I felt sorry for Ari and all drama and pain she is dealing with. Logan has his own baggage but he is immediately drawn to her and boldly makes that fact known to all. Ari's story is an emotional journey which is heartbreaking and heartwarming. Logan is just what the love doctor ordered.

Really enjoyed this story. Ari and Logan were destined for each other. I loved how patient and loving he was with her. He was such a sweet guy. Loved Val and her girls. Smiles all around. The storyline was good, the characters were real, the setting made you feel like you were there. Everything's bigger in Texas. No grammar errors.

When I first started reading it , I thought she would end up dead. I was pleasantly surprised when she met someone and fell in love. Despite what happened in her 1st marriage. Wowed.

This was was not good to me. I’ve read some of her stories which are much better. This one was a bit boring and I skipped many parts just to move along. Not very romantic in my opinion. She’s written better by far.

Nice Story
A W little short and underdeveloped for me but I understood at the end. The other two sisters in the family have separate stories. Their books will flesh out the characters for all. I look forward to reading their stories and the completion of each story.

This was an ok story. I am a fan of Imani King but this one wasn't a hit with me. I liked the characters and it seems like the other girls could have their own stories.

Of course, being a big Imani King fan, I knew I was going to live this story!!! And as always, my girl did not disappoint!!! I had all types of feelings going on reading Ari's misadventures. But thank goodness for mystery cowboy riding in too save the day!!! There's so much I want to share about this story, but I don't want to give anything away!! AWESOME JOB AS ALWAYS, MS. IMANI!!!
