I'm so disappointed with this series reread. Each book just seems worse and worse meh

Ancora una volta la storia di Laura Leander è un misto di storie e leggende tedesche (in questo caso il drago e il cavaliere Sigbert – Sigfrido dei Nibelunghi) e una contemporaneità quasi spiazzante, tra cellulari, computer e i film di Peter Jackson su 'Il signore degli Anelli' (Laura ha in camera il poster de 'La compagnia dell’anello').

E ancora una volta la tredicenne si ritrova a dover affrontare le sue missioni con ben poco aiuto da parte degli insegnanti che la dovrebbero guidare verso l’età adulta, ma con solo il fratello dodicenne Lukas, l’amica Kaja e la new-entry (almeno tra i personaggi importanti) di Philipp, alias Mister Fighetto (quest’ultimo non sa nulla delle potenzialità magiche di Laura, ma si fida di lei ed è disposto a tutto per aiutarla pur non capendo i motivi della sua missione).
Questo è l’elemento più spiazzante, perché nella lettura il comportamento degli adulti è decisamente fastidioso. Da qualche parte si dice anche che gli adulti lo fanno per lei, perché deve crescere ed imparare. Questo, tuttavia, varrebbe se Laura stesse compiendo un corso di addestramento, una scuola di vita (al riguardo mi sovviene alla mente il magnifico 'Il sentiero dei ciclamini'). Ma in questo caso Laura sta affrontando le forze malvagie di Borboron e deve salvare Marius Leander, suo padre, ma anche collega e alleato della Luce degli altri insegnanti di Rovenstein. Quindi il comportamento di Percy, Miss Mary e gli altri è altamente dissonante.
Detto questo, la storia è scritta ancora una volta con stile semplice e scorrevole. Trovo ottima l’idea di scrivere con caratteri diversi i due mondi paralleli per comprendere subito dove il lettore si trovi. Inoltre questa volta, infine, nel libro è inserita la mappa di Aventerra, indispensabile per ogni libro fantasy che si rispetti.
Molto bella la scena dello scontro con il drago, mentre nel finale perde un po’ di tensione, forse perché in questo caso è evidente che la storia non è autoconclusiva ma si aspetta il seguito per conoscere il destino di Laura, Marius e tutta Aventerra.

Complessivamente mi sento di consigliare il libro, soprattutto ai più giovani (anche per i forti valori cristiani che si trovano all’interno), con la speranza che nella vita reale trovino degli adulti più presenti (ma sarà possibile?).

Peter Freund hat mit seiner Geschichte eine neue Welt erschaffen, eine etwas andere Magische oder Fantasygeschichte außerhalb von Harry Potter und Co. Harry Potters Geschichte ist 20 Jahre alt, diese Geschichte stammt von 2007.

Ich hatte wie immer keine Erwartungen an das Buch gehabt. Die Geschichte von Laura geht weiter und es wurde zu nehmender spannend. Auch hier musste Laura gegen das böse kämpfen und versucht mit allen Mitteln ihren Vater zu retten. Die Bösen schicken irgend welche Figuren um Laura zu zerstören, selber zu töten, sei verboten und gegen die regeln. Aber wer hält sich bitte an Regeln? Die bösen nicht. Diesmal ist Laura in Aventerra und ist immer noch dreizehn Jahre alt und tut alles um ihren Vater aus dem Schlaf zu retten. Das sie nicht merkt wer gut oder böse ist.

Es gibt wieder mehrere Sichten, die die Geschichte spannend erzählen. Der rote Faden geht in die Geschichte hindurch. Die Geschichte ist mega spannend geschrieben. Ich hatte wirklich Angst um meine Protagonisten und um meine Lieblinge.

Das Buchcover ist sehr nett gestaltet. Sehr schöne Farben, finde ich.

Sprachlich ist die eschiche sehr spannend geschrieben.

Dieses Buch ist eine gelungene Fortsetzung der Fantasy Reihe um Laura und die parallelwelt Aventerra. Dieser Teil ist mir besonders wegen der Sphinx im Gedächtnis geblieben, die ein häufiges Fabelwesen in Fantasy Jugendbüchern ist. Sehr zu empfehlen.

Η Λάουρα και το Αίνιγμα της Ασημένιας Σφίγγας είναι ένα εφηβικό βιβλίο, το οποίο έχει το συμπαθητικό ότι μοιάζει να το έγραψε ο θείος σου, που έχει διαβάσει τα τρέχοντα βιβλία της μόδας (όπως το Χάρι Πότερ) και η εναλλαγή από τον κόσμο της Αβεντέρα με τον κόσμο της Γης τονίζεται από την έξυπνη ιδέα της διαφορετικής μελάνης (κόκκινη και μαύρη). Βέβαια η Αβεντέρα φαντάζει λίγο πομπώδης και τα ξαφνικά ξεπαστρέματα ηρώων που μπορεί να είχες συμπαθήσει δεν έχουν τίποτε το εφηβικό. Ακόμα και η στατική απύθμενη κακία των κακών με το προβλέψιμο σατανικό γέλιο αρχίζει να κουράζει στο τρίτο πια βιβλίο της σειράς. Ωστόσο έχει αρετές που σε κάνουν να ενδιαφέρεσαι για τη συνέχεια πράγμα που θα γίνει στο επόμενο βιβλίο με την Λάουρα και την Κατάρα των Δράκων.

This series was one of my favourites when I was younger. Full of action, adventure and mystery it makes a perfect early-teen read. This particular book was my favourite of the series.

The title is in german because the book was originally written in that language. The book's translations haven't been added yet to this site.

I don't know why is the title in German, I think it's German, (I read books in Croatian, maybe some of them in English). Anyway I liked Laura series. I didn't like the ending in any of Freund's books I have read. Laura and The Silver Sphinx was my favourite. :)

I really liked the ending in this one, the riddle.
I like how teenage drama is entangled with the magical world of Aventerra, and poor Laura is thrown in the middle.
