I never thought I’d turn to a male escort service. Then again, I never thought Jason Morgan would show up to service me!
Jennie needs a date for her high school reunion. Ten years out, she wants to show the mean girls that she’s made it – career-wise, looks-wise, and most importantly, relationship-wise. One problem: There’s no boyfriend in sight. Not even close.
Jason’s a former high school quarterback who works as a movie producer. He moonlights on the side meeting women while providing the “boyfriend experience.” Little does he know that his next client is the curvy girl from his past … who’s turned into a bombshell!
Warning: This story is absolute filth mixed with a dose of pure, sweet goodness. It’s so sugary that you’ll have trouble swallowing. But who hasn’t wanted to go back to their HS reunion with a hot guy on their arm? Trust me, you’ll love it :) As always, bonus stories included for your reading pleasure. Xoxo, Cassie and Kendall
I didn't like it that much because of the heroine. Even though she's trying to act all tough and doesn't care what anyone thinks of her, she does care and it's annoying. She's insecure and weak, i need confident and strong. and where is the chemistry? Where is the romance? I did not feel it.
Jennie is my kind of girl. Yes, she's attracted to those abs but, she wasn't showing it to the world and especially not in front of said specimen. It's refreshing to read a book where it's the hero chasing and convincing the girl that they're meant to be together. I know I know. There's a lot of said theme but, this was not forceful. Jason gave Jennie the right to choose. What was off was probably the reunion itself. So much hype for it and it was flat. It's okay though. All I needed was Jason and Jennie anyway.
This is a short story rather than a book. I thought the blurb sounded fun, but after the first chapter, which was decent, it just went downhill. I stopped reading when he offered to make some business contacts for her in exchange for sex and she did it (I went back to finish the story later as I never leave one unfinished). The one sex scene was in his pov and more crude than erotic. The characters were shallow and too many aspects of the story unbelievable.
storyline held great potential and I guess it kinda delivered but it was so SHORT.
It only took up 9% of the kindle edition and there were so many 'free' books (ones already bought or read sadly) ....it made me wonder why it was called a book and not a novella like most stories this size?
Not a lot of believable chemistry tbh between Jennie and Jason or many sizzle scenes.....and I gotta be honest if that was me - I'm not sure turning up with the high school QB would be comfortable to her personally (but this is just my opinion remember!!). She's a bigger person than me to be so nice to her bullies - I've still not forgiven mine and if this happened to me if take the money loss and go back home!!!!
would have preferred more of a developed story with a better chemistry with H/h than the free books with this!
This is a wonderful story by Cassandra and Kendall.
This one is a little different. The story is wonderful and the characters are perfect. But there isn't that nasty and dirtiness you expect from Cassandra, and I have to say with this sweet story, I didn't miss it. But I hope it's not something that continues. Lol. I do enjoy Cassandra's dirty side😜
I voluntarily read an advanced reader copy for my honest review.
Loved every second didn't want to stop reading it. Woman hires escort service what could go wrong or maybe right. Enjoyed reading this book. I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
This is a cute, fun and steamy short read. An enjoyable plot about a woman that hires an escort to go with her to her high school reunion. Jennie and Jason have great chemistry and they really heat up this book. I'm posting a completely honest, voluntary review after reading this book.
A fun novella about a plus-size, curvy woman who rents an escort to pretend to be her boyfriend as she returns to her hometown for her high school's ten-year reunion in the Carolinas. And according to the traditions of the Grand South, if you're female and not married by the time you're twenty-one, then you were a social disaster. So in order to avoid that, she decides to take the plunge and hire herself a boyfriend. What she didn't bank on was that her "boyfriend" would be her high school's starring quarterback, one who had dated her chief nemesis. But he talks her into keeping with her original plan but say that the two of them "met" years after graduation and decided to date, planning to come out with their relationship at the high school reunion. It's a very cute premise with its own set of surprises and definitely worth the read. It's a little more than brain candy but with warmth and heart I have associated with Cassandra Dee's writing. Definitely worth it.
Client number 6 by Cassandra Dee and Kendall Blake a five-star read that you will be dialling. This is the first book in the Dial-a-date series, this pair write well together and I can’t wait for more in this series. The characters have good depth and the story is great it’s a little crazy but so fun!!
Jennie needs a date for her school reunion but she doesn’t have a boyfriend so she goes to get a male escort. Jason was a former high school quarterback but now he’s a movie producer on the side he works as a male escort for fun. When Jennie goes to meet the escort she see’s Jason and she tells him that she is waiting for her boyfriend but Jason tells her that it’s him she is waiting for, ( talk about embarrassing )! Jason likes the way Jennie looks she has turned into a beautiful woman and Jason can’t wait to take her to the reunion. Jennie was a frumpy girl at school and was always picked on and wants to show those bullies the new woman that she is. I loved this book it was a fantastic read but then what else do you expect from these two authors. I know all about bullies in school and when I went to my primary school reunion I was pregnant and I went with my other half, I got some weird looks from the snobs but as they had found out the hard way I’m a new person and the only one there who had their partner with them, so I can understand why Jennie did what she did and she also had a sexy billionaire on her arm too. I highly recommend this book it’s definitely well worth the read, I loved it and you will too.
4.25 stars It is hard growing up in the South when the expectations for a woman is to be married. So, what is Jennie to do when her ten-year high school reunion is approaching and she does not even have a boyfriend? She decides to use what most people use now-a-days and that is take a look on the internet. While at first, she does not have much success, she finally stumbles across and ad for Southern Charm an escort service and the perfect answer for her problem. She sets up an appointment to meet the man and gets the shock of her life when it turns out to be none other than Jason, the former high school quarterback and leader of the cool kids. Jason is just as taken-a-back at seeing what Jennie has turned into and is thoroughly impressed. Will Jennie go through with her arranged date or will she decide to cancel? Anyone who has planned to attend their high school reunion can relate to this story. The authors have done a great job to encompass all of the feelings and sentiments that one goes through when contemplating attending this kind of an event. I volunteered to read an advance copy of this book.
Customer Review 5.0 out of 5 starsMuch More than an Escort! By sewsummoreon March 18, 2018 Format: Kindle Edition I received a free ARC copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving my honest review. Jennie has come a long way from the "over weight" young girl she was at high school and she intends to let her old class mates know at their class reunion. She had moved to New York and had acheived a career as a editor, the only thing lacking is an significant other. That was where Southern Charm" came to the rescue with a hired escort for the reunion dinner. The trouble was Jason was not just an escort but a movie producer as well and he was also her high school's quarterback who led their team to the State Championship and the last person she would be expected to hook up with. Jason was determined to take her to the reunion and spend more time with him, not as an escort but as some one who really liked and admired her. This book gives you a real "feel good" feeling after you have read it, the honesty of Jeenie's character shines through and Jason's desire for her makes this an entertaining read and their happy ending is perfect
This is a quick steamy read. Jennie was the odd girl teased in high school who was a nerd and over weight. After losing her mom she takes it upon herself to get in shape and looks great right before her 10 year reunion. She’s ready to show them she moved on from their southern small town to the big NY City but finds she is in need of a date. Jennie finds a escort service and ends up spending more than she wants on a date and a meet up prior to the reunion. Jennie is not happy to find out her date is with the ex high school quarter back, Jason and he is pleasantly happy to see Jennie. Jason is a successful film producer in LA and is doing the escort job for fun when he has time. Jason knows he wants Jennie and makes his move to get her. There is some typical drama at the reunion but Jason shocks them with Jennie as his date! Jennie continues to be the bigger person and it shows how good a person she is. Jason sees something special in her, will he be able to have more than a night to their reunion? I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Reader Copy of this book.
I received this book with the understanding that I could leave a voluntary and honest review.
In this book we meet Jennie and Jason. Jennie is looking to go back to her high school reunion and show everyone that she has made something of her self and she isn't that same girl they all know. The problem with this, she has no boyfriend and none in sight. Jason has made something of himself more than just being the high school quarterback. He has a little side business that he never knew would be right up his alley to meet up with that curvy girl from his past. Can they both get what they want out of this reunion or will Jennie just be left on the outside again?
This is a super hot book. It will have you hooked from the first word to the very end. There are some ups and downs that I really want to tell you about but don't want to ruin it for any other readers. What I will say is keep something cool near by or make sure you have someone to help with all that heat, because you will find it. I would highly recommend it to anyone and everyone.
Jennie has everything set for her high school reunion except for a date. She's lost a good bit of weight has a good job but doesn't want to show up single. After doing some research she finds a southern escort service and signs up for a date and a coffee date before the reunion. Imagine her surprise when her date is no other than the high school quarter back from her high school. Jason was stunned by Jennie when he saw her again and he knew that he would do whatever he had to in order to be her date for the reunion.
This was a great story about what you always wish you're reunion will be like if you have been bullied by the popular kids. Jennie shows how to be the bigger person she was when some surprises happen at the reunion. This story will have wanting more when you reach the end. I can't wait to see what these authors do next.
I voluntarily read and reviewed this book. I enjoyed it so much I bought my own copy.
I WANT MORE! This was a short story that just caught me from the first to last chapter. It was so emotional and relable that it caught me by surprise. It is about a woman that in her high school days was tormented by the popular group and especially by one girl. She is now going to the ten year anniversary reunion and wants to bring a "boyfriend" with her so she can show them all she has made a life of her own. She has change into a beautiful woman and has a job as an editing assistant. When she takes contact to a bureau that helps her with a date she has the biggest surprise coming to her. No spoilers here! READ IT! It is worth it. The chemistry is over the top. The characters are so likeable and relatable that you almost feel you are with them. I can only praise this story but one thing I would wish was different is the length. I would have liked it to be longer. Cannot wait to see if there is one more coming.
My heart, I felt so much for Jennie. After being picked on in high school, I certainly avoided my reunion. I was single, and had only just met the man I'd marry. (Too soon to ask him to go with!) Jennie has a lot to show, and I was just so happy that she'd get the chance to shine. She'd do just that with a little assist from Jason. It's quite a spark fest when the former outcast meets the high school alpha on much different terms. This relationship is so cute and fun, but also super hot and satisfying. It's wonderful to get to know Jennie and Jason and realize maybe they aren't such opposites after all. Thoroughly enjoyable and very highly recommend. This book is a must have. The writing is tight and the characters very well done. A+ for sure. This is a voluntary review of an advance reader copy.
This is a very quick read especially the ending is extremely rushed but even so I thought that it would include the all important first full time they were intimate. It's noticeably missing i sort of feel like I've read half a novella as the friendship is there but the sexual intimacy is not. Well I guess u can't always get what u want even when a book has been so thoroughly advertised on social media, I mean a book about an escort and I only get foreplay! The characters were okay but yes the book definitely is missing a good chunk of relationship building, a love scene and a decent epilogue. I hope this helps u a bit with your decision, please rate. Thanks
I received a free copy of this book via Bookfunnel and am voluntarily leaving a review. A simple quick read about Jennie, who turned her life around after her mother had a heart attach. She became physically fit and lost some weight. She is what you would describe as a BBW, Jessica Rabbit style. She wants to go to her high school reunion but with no boyfriend who could she go with. She did not want to turn up without one and appear like a loser. She hires an escort Tyler. She agrees to meet him at a café before the reunion so they can get their cover story straight. Instead of Tyler she gets Jason. The former quarterback from high school. What on earth is going on she thinks. Will she settle for Jason or try to get a refund and see if someone else is available. A good read.
There is Jennie who has changed completely since she was a nerd in high school. She toned up and has become a curvy bombshell with brains. She lives in NYC as a editorial assistant and want to go back to her HS Reunion and make a splash. Then there is Jason who is a millionaire movie producer that choose to escort occasionally for the thrill of it. He doesn't need the money. When Jennie calls an escort service and books a male escort for the reunion she never expected Jason to walk through the door and the chemistry they have is through the roof. Will they be able to convince their classmates that they are for real? Can they put aside the past and make a go of it? this is a good quick read. Enjoy!

Fast story This is a fast read. The two main characters Jennie and Jason went to high school together ten years ago but that’s all they did together. High school was not a fun time for Jennie. She’s now become an even better version of herself. Her high school’s ten year reunion is coming up and Jennie decides to go with a paid date. Enter Jason. Except he is and isn’t an escort. He is because he’s in their roster but he really is an up and coming movie producer in LA and he is someone from her past. They meet to discuss the event and they have an insta-attraction. The story is fun read. The characters are believable within the context of the story. There is an HEA for these two. The authors offer additional books for their readers at the end of this story.
This was so great. I would have to say this is my new favorite. Jennie and Jason make a fantastic duo. This book was fun, entertaining, hot and very relatable. Jennie had an awful high school experience, worse than most. Jason was the jock and Jennie was the nerd. High school reunion is coming up and Jennie is not where she wants to be in life, but she want to put on a good face. So she enlists the help of Southern Charm escort service. Things get especially interesting once she gets to her home town. Could not put this one down. Loved every minute and cannot wait for the next Cassandra Dee/ Kendell Blake collaboration.
A cute story where two people from high school are reunited ten years later. Jennie wanted to impress her friends with how great her life is now. She was overweight in high school and bullied. She decides to hire an escort to be her pretend date. To her amazement it turns out to the Jason, the star quarterback. He's now a successful and wealthy movie producer worth millions who moonlights occasionally as an escort for fun. The date turns out to be amazing and their chemistry is off the top. They find out that each other are just what they need. A sweet story without much drama, but no spoiler here. I read a reader copy and voluntarily chose to write a review.
Very quick, easy read. There are 6 chapters. I love a whole, reunion, its been 10 or so years since we've seen each other, I've changed, type story. Jason and Jennie meet up because she hired an escort for her 10 year reunion. She was bullied quite a bit in school but she changed since school and wanted to show the bullies how great she was doing. Enter Jason, the escort, the high school quarterback. He is still hot, but so over the whole popular school status.
Decent story. The only problem I had was the typos I found throughout. Some parts said her last name was Lake, but some said Lark. Overall, good quick read. Enjoyable.
So good! I loved this collaboration between Cassandra Dee and Kendall Blake. Client No. 6 is all about the need for a male escort to make Jennie look better at her high school reunion. Imagine her surprise when the escort, Jason, is someone she knows! This book is funny, full of lust, surprising love and just an all around great read. Loved it! I voluntarily reviewed an advanced copy of this book. Hero, Jason = 5/5 Heroine, Jennie = 5/5 Chemistry = 5/5 Sex = 5/5 Plot = 4/5 Mystery = 1/5 Action = 1/5 Darkness = 1/5 Humor = 2/5 POV = dual Would I recommend this book = yes Would I re-read this book = yes Would I read future books by this author = yes
Jennie has lost some weight and has gotten in better shape and has a good job in the city. She is going to her ten year reunion, but doesn't want to go alone and that is where Jason comes in. He will be her escort to show all the mean girls that she is doing better than she used to. I voluntarily reviewed an advanced copy of this book. This has some laughs, karma, and a reunion in more ways than one. It shows a lot can change in ten years. The chemistry between Jason and Jennie is off the charts.
Who hasn't wanted to "show up" the bullies of their past? This desire has Jennie calling Southern Charm to hire a male escort attend her high school reunion with her. Imagine her surprise when her escort turns out to be the "Big man on campus" during high school. Will Jennie and Jason be able to convince everyone that they are truly a couple? What happens when the reunion ends? Read this hot story to find out.
