Finally one in the Marley Arc that I actually enjoyed!! Things started to click and make a little more sense in this one. There was tons of fun action and I loved getting to be back with the Survey Corps. I still don't know which side to root for since both sides seem like they have flawed values, but I'm glad that the story is starting to get better.
One thing about this series is that there's a high likelihood that your favorite character will get killed so it's better to not get attatched to any character. My original favorite character died back in volume 7 and I told myself that I wouldn't get attatched to anyone else. Well, as a surprise to no one, I got a new favorite character... and they died in this volume. I knew their death was coming because I saw a spoiler on TikTok, but it still feels like a massive punch in the gut and I feel empty inside.

Enfrentamientos muy brutales a la par que geniales. Pérdidas en ambos lados y ya me veo venir muchos desacuerdos en Paradis con el camino que está tomando Eren, que me preocupa y me asusta hasta dónde es capaz de llegar. Esa traición por parte de Zeke no me la esperaba tampoco, pensaba que era 100% "leal" a Marley.
P. D. 1: La muerte de Sasha no te la perdono Isayama. No entiendo porqué tienen que matar a personajes tan buena onda.
P. D. 2: El odio de Gabi será un interesante tema a tratar y Falco es tan buena gente que no quiero encariñarme. Por si las moscas.

It’s still very interesting and some parts are still WTF but I kinda miss the old days where it was just the gang and we had all those mysteries and we had a lot more Levi. I’m interested in seeing what happens to Eren though cos he ain’t doing so good it seems xD but what else is new?!?! XD

It appears I was physically and emotionally unprepared for this volume. Well, well.
Well, well.
WELL.
Hot damn, because these kids never looked like 15 to me in the first place and now after 5 years they look like they're 30, especially Jean. This aside, they've all gotten really good looking. Especially Jean. Seriously, I'm digging Jean a lot right now. And the star of the volume is, of course, Eren's man bun. Ooh la la.
Coming to the emotional side of the story, I'm not okay with it, not in the least. There was a lot of focus on groups in this volume, Eren, Armin and Mikasa, Jean, Connie, and Sasha, Zeke, and the other two titans. It was nice, and the prominence only made it worse. I just can't believe he did that. The flashbacks were cruel, Isayama.

To recap my feelings, I was having chills all over, I think my mind exploded somewhere within the second issue, I was practically vibrating with excitement and nerves the whole time.

The War Hammer titan could have looked more epic, the poor thing didn't have much screen time, to begin with, and what little we saw of it barely made sense. I did enjoy the way it was 'beaten', though.

Gabi seems to be a contentious character in the fandom, but I rather like her. She's a good case study of what hate and prejudice does to a child, and while I wouldn't say she did nothing wrong, I can see where she's coming from and sympathize with her struggle.

Me quedé con el ojo cuadrado gracias a este tomo. Al principio jamás me hubiera imaginado que SNK fuera una historia tan compleja llevada de una manera excelente.
La invasión, la revuelta que se armó, las pérdidas de ambas partes tanto de manera bélica como en vidas. Este arco creo ha sido mi favorito en cuanto a trama se refiere y con la última parte ... vaya que si tengo algo qué pensar, tal como se había dicho, marca el fin de una amistad, algo que verdaderamente pensaba, era de las pocas cosas que se mantendrían intactas puesto que trabajando juntos habían logrado salir de las situaciones difíciles desde pequeños. Sin embargo, ahora que Eren posee los recuerdos de gran parte de la historia sobre la humanidad,se ve orillado a tomar ciertas decisiones (posiblemente demasiado personales) de las cuales Armin difiere (hecho que salta a la vista ya que en un principio era éste quien estaba dispuesto a sacrificar lo necesario para llegar al objetivo, pero ahora prefiere tomar un camino de "paz" ¿acaso está siendo influido por los recuerdos de Bertholt?). Además, volvemos a ver a Annie...
En verdad quiero ver cómo Isayama hará el desenlace de este arco; hay tantas vertientes que ni siquiera estoy segura de saber a quién apoyo o quién tiene la razón. Esa es otra de las razones por las que me encanta SNK, está sumergido en bastantes situaciones apegadas a la realidad: no todo siempre es blanco o negro; las decisiones que se deben tomar en las guerras; pérdidas que inevitablemente deben pasar; cuestiones de política, religión y poder ... Digo una vez más: Isayama, eres un maldito genio.
