This is a smoking hot and sexy workplace/ forbidden romance I just loved Cassie and Scott these two had so much chemistry it will melt your kindle.Cassie goes to work as an intern for her dad at his construction firm she needs this for her degree and plans to take over the family company one day.On her first day, one of the guys starts making inappropriate comments and just won't stop harassing her that's when one of the other guys Scott steps in to help her.The attraction between these two is really strong and they both try to fight it but eventually give in but when her dad sacks him he says some things that he does not really mean and she leaves, What will they do when she figures out she is pregnant.

Scott & Cassie had an instant connection and knew that they wanted to be together but Cassie was the boss’s daughter and was forbidden. Scott & Cassie kept there relationship a secret but secrets have a way of being exposed. Scott & Cassie I wanted to yell at them at times and when they were together was hit, sexy and definitely melt your kindle. Great story of finding the one and holding on when everyone wants to pull u apart.

Cassie is coming to work as an intern for her father while she finishes her degree. She wants to take over the family business when her father retires. Her first day one of the workers makes a sexual comment and won't leave her alone and that's when she meets Scott. Scott steps in when he sees a co worker being inappropriate with the boss's daughter. Sparks fly between Cassie and Scott but they fight it because of who they are. Scott likes his job and has plans for his future and getting mixed up with Cassie isn't something he wants to do. Then one night after some drinks they end up in bed together. They agree to keep it between them so not to cause any problems on site but they didn't count on someone finding out and exposing them. When her father fires Scott it puts them into a tail spin and Scott says some things that send Cassie running. When Cassie tries to tell Scott she's pregnant things get even worse. Can they find their way back to each other?

This is a great story and is very well written. The chemistry between Cassie and Scott sizzles with every page. Once I started this story I couldn't stop until I was at the end. I would definietely recommend this to any of my book friends this is a must read in my opinion.

I just cannot get enough of books by this author. Cassie is doing an internship for her father’s company while she completes her studies for her degree. Eventually, she wants to take the helm when her father retires. Scott has been working for the company for fourteen years, just like his father did before he passed. When Cassie arrives for her first day, she is greeted with inappropriate remarks from her fellow co-workers and Scott steps in. However, he does not want to get involved with the boss’ daughter. The reader can feel the chemistry emanating off of these characters and one night after drinking a little too much, they wind up in bed together. They both realize this could cause some unexpected problems if word was to get out around work so they agree to keep it quiet. However, a secret like that is bound to come to light. How does Cassie’s father react when he finds out? The fact is that there are more pressing consequences of Cassie and Scott’s one-night stand as she winds up pregnant. Can Cassie and Scott work things out and salvage what they had between them to have a happy relationship? This is one well written story that you will not put down until the end.

 The Boss's Daughter

Cassie is doing her engineering degree and is going to do a summer's internship at her dad's , Mark, construction company.  On her first day, Carl The Creep makes sexual innuendos to her and Scott [worked there for 14 years and is gorgeous, steps up to protect her. Sparks sizzle between Cassie and Scott and one thing leads to another and they end up giving in to their passions and wow it is HOT.  But Mark finds out and fires Scott and he is furious.  He and Cassie fight and he leaves. Months later she finds out that she's pregnant with Scott's baby but how can she get in touch with him? Will she keep the baby? How will Scott react to finding out he's going to be a dad? What will her dad say??   To find out you're going to have to get your own copy of this wonderful story by Candy Stone.  She's created a great storyline. fabulous characters that seem to be so alive. This story will make you reach for your fans to be set to max cool and you will sigh and swoon.  But most important you will enjoy finding out how/if they get their HEA.  I received a reader's copy and voluntarily leave my honest opinion of it here.

I received this book with the understanding that I could leave a voluntary and honest review.

In this book we meet Scott and Cassie. Scott is a hard working man that puts in more than an 8 hour day without thought. All he thinks about is working, eating crashing at home and doing it all again. That is until he meets the bosses daughter. One look and he was hooked. Cassie is home to work or at least that is what her father wants from her. However one look at Scott and she has different plans for the summer. She however doesn't want to cause him problems so she agrees they should keep it just between them. What happens though when that is no longer an option? Will they get a HEA or will they both go down in flames?

This is an amazing book that will have you hooked from the first word to the very end. It has it's ups and downs that I really want to tell you about. However I don't want to ruin the book for any other readers. I will say I would highly recommend it to anyone and everyone.

Candy Stone has written a lovely story that captivated me from the first chapter. This forbidden romance involves Cassie whose father owns a construction company and Scott one of the employees. Cassie is on a summer internship at her dad's company when she meets Scott who has been with the company for 14 years. Scott is ambitious and saving to eventually open his own business. He has no time for women or a relationship. After Scott saves Cassie from Carl's harassment they begin seeing each other. The chemistry between the two of them is undeniable and soon develops into a love affair. They try to keep the affair a secret as Cassie's father would disapprove and probably fire Scott. “Forbidden Baby” is a wonderfully written story filled with drama, secrets, jealousy, passion, and love. Great book! Great characters! A MUST BUY.

I am a big fan of Candy Stone’s she never fails to entertain me with her books and this one is no exception, that is such a georgous cover. Cassie’s father owns a construction company where Cassie starts a traineeship, Scott has worked for that construction company for a long time since his father died of a construction accident. When they meet there is an instant attraction to each other but Cassie’s father is dead set against them seeing each other so they go and meet up in secret. Cassie’s father finds out about them and fires Scott, Scott is angry and devastated because when his father died he had the responsibility of looking after his mother. Cassie finds out that she is pregnant but Cassie and Scott fight and throw harsh words at each other. Wow just wow what a book I absolutely loved it. Great characters and a very well written story, I highly recommend this book it’s definitely well worth the read.

If ever a man met his match it was Scott. What he didn’t expect, was his match Cassie , was the bosses daughter...oh boy. Now the fun begins.
The chemistry between Scott and Cassie is off the charts. Doing an internship, in her father’s business, Cassie never expects to meet someone who will blow her mind and come to her rescue against another co-worker Carl. Carl is just a big headed, lazy creep. Think he’s gods gift and he wants Cassie...no chance. As they say, the heart wants what the heart wants and trying to keep their “fling” or whatever it is quiet is difficult.
A brilliant story that you know when you start reading it, will keep you addicted. I know it did with me. Scott is just one hot, sexy, decent guy with feelings, values and is a hard worker. Yes they have their ups and downs but true love fights to win. Loved the ending too.

Scott has worked construction for the same company for 14 years, his dad had died while working for the same company. Cassie has taken a paid internship at the company owned by her father. Silent Scott as he was called by the other roughnecks, didn't participate in their ugly talk about the rich girl who was actually their boss. But Carl was the lewdest of them all and they bet that he would bed her first! Mark, her father, didn't think she would like any them because they were beneath her station in life. None of them caught her eye accept Scott. Once he saved her from Carl's first attack she knew he was different. Scott knew he should stay away from her, but he couldn't and she couldn't stay away from him, but she wanted it kept a secret. In a small town, it's hard to keep secrets.

Awesome Story! A forbidden love of the rich and poor. Cassie has always led a life of luxury, having basically anything she wanted. Scott was born into a "construction family", expected to follow in the footsteps of his dad, and for him, that life starts earlier than expected due to an accident that took his dad when he was only 16. Scott had always looked forward to the day when he could break the cycle and own his own business. When Cassie came home for the summer to work as an intern for her dad's business, can she resist the pull she feels for Scott, an employee of her dad's? Can they beat the odds and make it work even though they are from different sides of the tracks? You will find yourself pulling for these two, even when things are going against them. !! I’m not even kidding this book put me in a reading slump😭😭😭😭😭!!!

I literally have no idea how I got through 45% of this book and didn’t end up dnfing it earlier😭

this book was very very very bad, it was very unexpected as all the reviews are 4/5 stars I had very high expectations when it came to reading it, they all praised the characters, the author, I was really really excited.

BUT to my surprise it was much much worse. LOL

first off, it has the pregnancy trope which is the most delicate trope and most annoying if not written correctly, which in that case was written HORRIBLY.

the way cassie and scott met was ok at first hut everything was so so so rushed, I literally flipped the page and she was at his house like hello?🤣

scott was one of the worst, if not the worst mmc I’ve ever read in a book, he called cassie a bitch for his friend, he humiliated her infront of his house, he made her CRY, why? because he didn’t want a baby now as if she did🤦🏻‍♀️he did not utter ONE sorry and she went back crawling to him like hello?? does she have no self respect???as for cassie she was your typical “I want to rebel against my dad” she was too dumb too naive scott was literally a HUGE walking red flag. the chemistry between the characters was nonexistent it was all sex sex sex again & again

as for the book itself it was the cringiest book I’ve ever read, the writing, the characters, especially the pregnancy plot I physically could not flip the page😭

Taboo Secret

I loved the story and the characters Scott and Cassie. Hated the lewd Carl with a passion, he wanted a good slap around the head. All Scott wants is a better life for his future family. He’s a construction worker that wants more to life, so is saving to change his life. He meets Cassie,the daughter of his boss on the construction site development. She is doing an intern as part of her engineering degree. Bets are on between the workers on the site as to who will have her first. Big mouthed Carl says it will be him! The chemistry between Scott and Cassie is like a slow burn that really builds up through the storyline. Will they get there HEA? Loads of drama and angst in this must read! This is my honest review of an ARC I received.

Cassie is the boss’s daughter, and when she decides to intern at her father’s construction company, there is an instant attraction to Scott, who is one of the labourers. Knowing that any relationship is taboo for them, they keep it on the quiet, until somebody vindictive lets the cat out of the bag. No spoilers; this is a definite must read, you will not be disappointed! This talented author has written a fast paced and intriguing story, which had me hooked from the very beginning. I look forward to reading more from this author, and I highly recommend her work for all readers!

Cassie was looking forwards to working on her fathers building site for her internship and was ready for the men that worked there. One of the men who worked there though court her eye and was protective of her too. Scott didn't want to work in building all his life he had plans to own his own hardware business, so when he meet Cassie he new he should keep his hands to himself. This is a great story with the woman being the one with the money for a change. Their story as you can guess is not strait forwards but very touching all the same. Great read.

Cassie is Scott's bosses daughter and as such off limits but sparks fly when they meet and they cannot deny the attraction which leads to issues for everyone concerned and change of plans. A taboo relationship from the beginning, but when Scott and Cassie have this kind of chemistry and the pull is there; you can only fight it for so long. I was hooked from the very beginning Amazing story and wonderful writing! All characters are three-dimensional and believable. The storyline is intense, it's gripping in the best sense of the word. When some else finds out about their relationship and goes to her father, Scott gets fired. Can they find a way to make it work? This is a fast-paced read with loads of drama. This was another good book by this author. What happens when a secret romance just can't stay a secret any longer? Cassie and Scott are in a somewhat taboo relationship that ends up getting a surprise. He's an employee and she's the boss's daughter. They had great chemistry. I did get a little frustrated with them a few times, but overall I enjoyed the story.
