This was lowkey a gut book! I got this for free out of a little free library and I forgot all about it! I would really give this a 2.5, but rounded to 3 because it got much better near the end. It was interesting for the first couple of chapters, stale for the middle, and picked up right near the end. I prob wouldn’t read again but I def am going to make my friend Caroline read it

Amish Christmas Secrets is an outstanding conclusion to the Amish Protectors series written by Debby Giusti. This story is filled with suspense, danger, murder, and love. The characters are perfectly developed to tell this story. This story centers around a young Amish mother who was rescued from Victor in the previous book. From the first pages the author draws the reader in with an attack on Rosie Glock. Rosie had left her Amish community because she felt loved by Englisher Will McIntosh but once she discovers she is pregnant things quickly change. Larry Wagner is trying to retrieve information from Rosie that she is unaware she possesses. Frequent attacks occurr but Ezra Stoltz is always there to protect her. Ezra is carrying the burden of his own secrets involving the deaths of both his parents. Ezra and Rosie form an unbreakable bond but she knows at some point she will have to leave to protect her son. This is the final story of this series and it will definitely keep readers wanting more.

I was not given a complimentary copy of this book to read and review. I was not approached to post a favorable response. All opinions are my own but honest. I have rated this story with five stars for meeting my expectations of a wonderful story that I can highly recommend to others.

Congratulations to Debby Giusti for writing such an exciting, thrilling series built around human trafficking and drugs involving the Amish.

True to Love Inspired Suspense formula, Rosie Glick is attacked in the first chapter and the hits just keep on coming. The first attack is enough to kill the average person--or at very least break a few bones. But Rosie is made of stronger stuff and ended up with mere scratches. I have to admire the woman's strength.

The hits just keep on coming but the nursing home scene was not at all realistic for so many reasons. I asked a CNA questions concerning the scenario and it was shot down. Contrived, but an Amish girl might not know correct protocol and realise she was being set up big time. In fact, I'm not sure that many teenage or early twenty year old CNAs would realize it.

Other than that, one has to wonder what did Will have? Why did the "bad guy" think that Rosie had it? How did she escape from the dungeon she was locked into prior to the story? And how will the "bad guy" mess up badly enough to get caught? What will happen next? And with the opening of the story such a black moment, how black would the one at the end be?

If you like suspense that will keep you on the edge-of-your-seat, heart-pounding, then AMISH CHRISTMAS SECRETS is a book to consider. It's available now. And set in an Amish community that is anything but peaceful in this suspense. Wow. This is heart-pounding suspense at its finest.

I was given a copy of this book. All opinions are my own.

In this book I got to meet Rosie Glick and Ezra Stoltz. Its about second chances and forgiveness of self. Its a great story for it deals with issues that we all have dealt with at some point in our life. Debby draws you into the story by the way she writes her story. For its a fascinating story to read. My review today is on the Love Inspired Suspense, Amish Christmas Secrets. This is the fourth book in the Amish Protectors Series and the conclusion. I really like the Amish stories and I really enjoy suspense books so Debby's books are always a thrill for me. This book is well written, action packed, and full of faith. I know you are going to love it.
Single mother, Rosie Glick works at a nursing home. She is returning home when she is attacked. The man wants some information that her dead boyfriend gave to her. Rosie doesn't know what he is talking about and is tossed over a ravine but the man is run off be an Amish man before he realizes that she landed on a ledge.
Ezra Stoltz is taking his buggy home when he sees a car parked on the downward slope of the road. A man threw a bike over the edge of the ravine, got in his car , and drove away. Ezra had seen Rosie ride by the hardware store earlier. He came this way to make sure she got home before the storm hit. Now he finds her on a ledge over the ravine. He carries her up to his buggy and heads for her home. Ezra soon realizes that Rosie is in serious trouble. He must find a place to hide her and her son. Can he keep his secret love and her child safe?
A journey to escape the killers and find the answers they need. God has a plan for these two, a plan for a hope and a future. God has a plan for you too; a good plan and not for evil. Give Him your heart and watch Him move in your life.

This is a suspenseful, enjoyable book but more than that, it would be a wonderful gift to give all young girls to show them they are much better off completely avoiding the Englisch.

I don't want to give away the plot so I will just say that the young people who leave home to be with the Englisch, end up either causing their parents' to be murdered, or being abducted and raped. The storyline is so interesting that probably young people would read the book without even realizing what a powerful and excellent message it is sending them: the outside world is dangerous and evil and if you are selfish and leave home, your family members will die because of you and YOU might be kidnapped and raped and made pregnant by a rapist. Englisch boys will use you. Englisch criminals will hunt you down and try to murder you. Englisch employers will frame you for crimes you did not commit and Englisch police will not believe you or help you. Avoid all Englisch. Stay home with your loving family and appreciate how lucky you are.

Unfortunately, the book is a romance so probably boys wouldn't read it. It would be good to have a book like this in a mystery or adventure genre that boys would read.

Fourth in a series

Loved this series ( 4 books Amish Protector Series) and I enjoy Debby Giusti’s writing.
This is a stand alone book but better when read in the series.

Rosa Glick, a single mom, works in a nursing home and is unjustly fired. She is attacked because her dead boyfriend was suppose to have given Rosie something. She was tossed over a ravine as Ezra Stoltz is riding by. Ezra stops the man and the man run off. Ezra rescues Rosie and is drawn in to the mystery this girl holds. Ezra and Rosie went to school together. Both Rosie and Ezra had a difficult rumspringa . Ezra realizes Rosie is in serious trouble. As Ezra and Rosie work together to solve the mystery, will hearts connect?

This well-constructed romantic suspense story was a quick read. It had all the necessary ingredients: star-crossed lovers, a heroine in danger, clearly identifiable villains, family drama on the side. We see the innocence of the Amish characters but they're well-rounded enough to have questioned their way of life before returning to the faith. Each believes his or her own baggage will prevent happiness with the other.
The characters are likable and there's a mystery on the side that the reader will root for them to solve.

This 4 installment in the Amish Protectors Series is a great book to read anytime. Ezra and Rosie are well developed and extremely engaging. Debby Giusti sits your right on the edge of the mystery and keeps you there until you have read the last page. If you have not read Debby's books this is a great series to start with.

Great little holiday read from Debby Giusti! I loved the characters of Rosie and how much she cared for her son, Joseph. Also, loved Ezra as a protector and provider for his sisters and brothers. Each of them had their own guilt and shame to work through and one of their secrets caused all the suspense! Easy read and delightful love story! Perfect for Christmas.

I really like most of the Amish books I have read and I liked this one also, but after the first chapter or so it was pretty obvious what was going to happen everytime the main character was going someplace, suddenly the bad guy would show up. It still was a good fast read and it had some exciting moments that held my interest

I started with book 4 again and this time I think it may have taken something away as I had questions that were barely touched upon when the past was mentioned. The story did draw me in and kept me reading but at times it didn't seem real at all.

I liked that this book could be a stand alone story but it also fit well as the last book in the series. Rosie struggles start before the book does but she shows a lot of strength and courage and it says a lot about the kind of mother she already is. I love how independent she tries to be for herself and her baby. She proves how resiliant she is multiple times throughout the book and I just love how strong of a character she is. The other thing I loved about this book was the family dynamic between the Stoltz siblings. They are all so loving and strong despite all they have gone through, and that helps bring Rosie peace during her difficult time. It's another great story in the series full of suspense, danger and faith in the midst of it all.
