Three smoking hot alien brothers who all want to mate with me. Whatever is a girl to do?
No matter what they tell you, alien abduction isn't at all like what you see on TV. First, I'm rudely abducted and knocked unconscious. Second, I wake up to an alien monster who wants to... er... "mate" with me, but he's got huge claws, huge fangs, huge... everything.
I realize I've been taken by a race of sexy, humanoid men. The bonus? They look like fitness models, they all think I'm the most attractive woman they've ever seen, and they can conjure my deepest fantasies out of thin air.
The catch? I'm supposed to woo their prince and future king, and give him an alien baby. The problem is I'm more attracted to his brothers, and the dirty fantasies they show me. On Earth, I was a good girl, but these aliens show me just how naughty I can be.
Now my biggest problem is which brother to choose. And just how far will I let them go?
****Content warning: For readers 18 years and older. Contains explicit sexual situations, and sensitive subjects. Despite this, the story ends with a Happily Ever After. Each of the Cartharian Romance Books is a standalone story and can be read in any order.
Alrighty. 1,5 stars ( and only the last 0,5 star, because the writing wasn’t too bad.)
Not what I expected. It started out rather decent, and I thought “alright, this sounds interesting”.
Then it just got less and less interesting.
1 earth girl, 3 aliens princes who needs to mate with her and produce an heir, and the first one to do so becomes King. I can work with that. That’s the interesting part. What I can’t deal with was the weird way the princes were acting. I didn’t really like how the “spaceship” worked either. Maybe because it didn’t fell like a spaceship? Oh and if you read an alien romance wouldn’t you expect the aliens to look “slightly” well.. alien? The “aliens” were described as super hot humans? That’s messing with my head. Just make them blue or something ?
Read: 26/05/2018 Will I recommend: Cannot say that I do.
This ebook book was free and I felt overcharged. I felt like it was edited for space because much like the concussed heroine I wondered how I got there and what was going on.
Charis is dragged to a party she doesn't want to be at by her friend, Ginger. She talks her way out and waits outside for a ride home, only it doesn't come and instead she's kidnapped and held onboard a space ship.
Han, and his 2 brothers all have the same father but different mothers. Han is first in line to become the new King if he can find a mate and provide an heir. But if either of his brothers can secure a mate and provide an heir, they will become King first.
Han isn't at all seductive, or caring to Charis at first so when the 2 brothers try seducing her, she falls for both of them until she is abruptly shown the truth of the situation. Han isn't like his brothers, he's actually a nicer male but with his crazy, abusive mother's influence, he's slow to show how much he cares for Charis. Leaving her to believe that he really doesn't want her, she finds herself drawn to Han's brothers.
I was a little confused from the cover because I thought this was going to be a menage romance but it wasn't. I did like the story though and the ending was pretty good.
This book was confusing and forgettable at the same time. I would forget what I was reading the moment I put my book down. Probably an automatic response by my brain to preserve my sanity.
At the same time I would be in a constant state of WTF while reading. And not in a good way. Why were they doing that? How is this happening? Why is she doing that? Where did that come from? Nothing made sense!
Over and above all of this there is little to no sexy time. By the time something does happen you have completely lost all interest in the story because the crazy is just too much.
I'm really disappointed because the writing at the start of this book was so promising. I love alien romance books but I am becoming quite hesitant to read them because so many of them have been so disappointing. Including this one.
DNF - only made it to 17% Just weird, couldn’t get into this storh, didn’t like the main character, Charis. The whole story to the point I quit just didn’t make sense.
Ceritanya mbak Charis abis naik Uber diculik sama alien.
Oke, saya ngelantur banget. The point is, I enjoy this reading. Erotikanya ga seberapa sih, cuman make out2 Charis waktu dirayu2 sama dua sodara Han, trus terakhir deh baru sama Han. Tapi ya, udah abis itu selesai. Setelah baca, saya malah pengen baca lagi loh lanjutan ceritanya Han sama Charis gitu. Karena gimana ya, alien world developmentnya kayaknya kurang gitu... ya emang sih ini jatohnya cerpen erotika romance 100 lembar doang, tapi entah kenapa pengen aja gitu lebih tau seputar dunia aliennya ini.
First off, the cover for this book is a lie. This is not a ménage or reverse harem romance. There are 3 men pursuing the main character, but at no point is she ever with more than 1 at a time, and she only ends up with 1 of them in the end.
Secondly, there are a number of glaring plot holes and things left unexplained. Some are minor, such as when Charis gets cut on the shoulder by her would-be “monster” alien rapist and then moments later is unhurt after being rescued, or when she has her hands and feet bound and then decides to go swimming and is able to wrap her legs around a guy without any mention of when or how her bonds were removed. But some are more problematic, such as the aliens looking like human men, or Charis having her mind wiped near the end without any apparent harm to Han (she was spared a mind wipe, but also not allowed to go home, at the beginning because of her “connection” with him). There is no attempt at even a weak or clichéd explanation for either of these situations.
Overall, I thought the world building was almost nonexistent, the plot was weak, and the character development was mediocre. Mostly, the story consists of Charis bouncing between the 3 brothers and either arguing or almost having sex with them. I did appreciate that she was finally given a choice at the end to return home or go with the aliens, but it seemed more like a special case rather than as a result of the aliens realizing that it’s wrong to kidnap people and force them into relationships (or work camps) against their will. Needless to say, I do not plan on continuing with this series.
providing an honest review after receiving a complementary copy from the author.
First off the cover is very miss leading. It made me think there would be some m/f/m action some where which there was not. There was barely any m/f in this book which was disappointing.
I just kept thinking why is not any one just being honest about what is going on? If things had been explained to Charis from the start things would have gone differently.
and why oh why was Han acting like such a prick? If he had just had one nice conversation with Charis instead of jumping to conclusions and pouting like a child happy ever after could have happened a lot quicker.
The idea of which ever brother manager to breed with a human first became king was new and interesting, but hard to know who like her for her and who just want to be king, also I wish she had that information and could have made a choice for her self instead of the brothers trying to trick her into it.
The cover has me wishing that she has got to sleep with all the brothers, or had a relationship with all of them or a least the two nice ones with this book have much more sex scenes and could have used some m/f/m or m/f/m/m scenes.
A wet afternoon read. It tells the story of Charis. Out with her friend to attend a party. You learn she is getting over a male and freaks out at the party house. While waiting for a ride home she attempts to help at a property, only to be dragged in and end up finding herself in a cage and about to be attacked by creepy alien! After much activity, she discovers she has been kidnapped as a match for a prince! Charis meets the prince - Han and his equally good looking and seductive brothers Kahn and Rahan. There is confusion frustration, seduction and a few threats against her life. Though after time they finally kiss and she is sent back home! Rahan seems to have sneaked back to earth in an attempt to bond and steal the criwn but Han and Kahn save the day. Charis regains her memories and all is explained. A HEA ending that was much needed!
Charis is the shy quiet type and just wants to go home, rather than spend a moment at the party her best friend Ginger dragged her to. But when she finally goes to leave she hears a child cry out for help. Trying to help the child, she ends up getting attacked by monsters and kidnapped. Little does she know she’s actually been abducted and is aboard a space ship. Three alien princes fight over the chance to mate with Char and become King over their people. Will she allow herself to be seduced by any one of the three gorgeous princes? Or will she end up back home with no memory of the kidnapping or the princes? Guess you have to read if you want to find out!
I’m not quite sure about how I feel about this book the Heroine was one confused girl being turned on by both brothers that were in opposition to the Hero who kept trying to push her away even though he really liked her. He had the most atrocious Mother and actually so did his one brother then it all came together way tooo fast to form the end I can only hope the other two books are better as I’ve already purchased them I’m assuming they are the brothers books and one I would like to get his happily ever after but one seems irredeemable
I liked this book. Charis is an awesome main character. She is a kind, caring person who finds herself in an unbelievable situation. Throughout her adventures on the space ship she just wants to go home. I liked how she stuck to this desire. Three handsome alien men want her. She still just wants to go home. I enjoyed the action parts of the story. I thought there could have been a little more romance, though. I
The ending was pretty good. I think it makes up for some of the missed opportunities in the rest of the story.
From the cover you would think that this was a reverse harem but it is not. It took me a while to get into it, And I thought about quitting at one point, but once I got into it I did like it. It was fairly well written and had some twists and turns that were different. The surprise villain being one of them.
There is NOT a lot of s*x in this book, but there is a couple of almost sexual assaults and one that included being roofied. So keep that in mind when you read it.
Though I did enjoy this story, there wee so.many odd paths it strode down that I was uncertain what they were doing in this story. Then, the brothers didn't find a way to share their girl, instead she picks just one. I don't understand the dangerous mothers or monsters! It left me with a lot of questions, but I admit, I did enjoy the story and hope for improvement down the road with future stories!
I was torn about this book. Firstly, the blurb and the cover were not at all accurate. Secondly, this was not a RH story as she chose one of the brothers. I found it difficult to relate to the heroine but warmed up to her in the end. Plotwise there were a lot of loose ends left, hence her choosing the guy did not make much sense. However, I liked the writing style and the overall idea. I am even contemplating reading the next one in the series.
If you are into kidnapping as a form of romance this may be for you.
Fairly well written except for misusing several words (eschew instead of askew, apprehensible instead of reprehensible are the two that irritated me most) repeatedly. I really don't think most women want to or dream about being kidnapped so that part of the story was very repulsive, as was every time her character used force to dominate the girl. Just not my cup of tea at all.
There were steamy bits and the setting was interesting. The ending was rushed and began unexpectedly. Many questions went unanswered, which bothers me. It almost feels like a third of the book is missing. Major conflicts aren't really resolved with any explanation. The reader is just told they are resolved. I feel the book could easily use another fifty to one hundred pages.
Charis is a girl who is lonely in a crowd. She is abducted by aliens, 3 brothers, each trying to make her his own. Each brother has a different mother and when Charis angers one she is banished back to earth. The brothers come for her and she realizes she likes one best. The story has several twists that keep the story interesting. I liked it and would recommend it to both romance and sci-fi readers. It is the first book in a series that can be read as a stand alone story with a HEA.
Could not finish. The plot was all over the place and wasn't engaging. It certainly didn't bear any resemblance to the description of the book. It only gets a two star rating because it wasn't full of misspellings and plot gaps--there were only a few of those in the fist two chapters.
Charis is abducted by aliens and taken to there space ship. There she is nearly raped by a monster. She is taken to meet the Prince and once she touches him she feels an electric tingle go through her body. This is the story of three brothers trying to get her to mate with them but only one counts and that’s Hans I’ll leave you to find out what happens
This was a strange plot that could have been developed farther on certain topics. It was a little confusing at times and a little hurried at other times. I have also noticed that the cover and the blurb were somehow misguiding in relation to how the story actually develops. I like it but I really think it could have been more.
Interesting storytelling with lots of twists and turns. If you haven't already read this book, you definitely will want to give it a go. There is plenty intrigue and adventure to keep you on your goes and wondering what Wii happen next.
Charis is abducted by aliens. When she is told she is meant to be the mate of the next king, Han, she can't believe it. He seems to hate her. Then his two brothers get involved and the steamy times begin!
The chase is on! This book kept me guessing until the end what the end would be. I really enjoyed that. When I got to the end, it was a bit abrupt which left me wishing for more.
A different plot, a great story, involving an innocent woman abducted by aliens. There are monsters, three hot ailiens, evil mothers, a space ship, and a plot to overthrow the queen and prince. Who will save her, who will win her, will she be able to return to Earth?
Interesting story but was a little disappointed. I thought it was a menage story but it wasn't, just 3brothers chasing the girl without hookups. But, the story was good and the characters seem to fit the tale.
