City-boy Robby Warner is up north for a family reunion in Hibbing, Minnesota where the only thing that's happening is his large, chaotic family. It isn't long before he and his cousins decide to escape the crowd to explore all that the town has to offer. At an outdated bus museum, strange things start to happen, like windows closing on their own. When Robby plays back a video he took at the museum, he hears a ghostly voice whisper to him. The ghost is looking for something he'd lost. Will the ghost find what he's looking for, or will he keep searching for eternity? Every state has its own spine-tingling stories of ghosts and mysterious hauntings grounded in its regional history. The Haunted States of America series uses real-life ghost lore as jumping off points to new, chilling tales. But beware: sometimes real life is stranger than fiction.

Part of a series titled haunted states of America or some such thing anyway - seemed to have more style than substance. Pretty uneventful and not memorable.

Great story. good for YA readers.

As an adult, it had me guessing what was going on. There were some ‘duh’ moments that would not be necessary for older readers but are a great addition for younger readers to use to understand some situations and references.
