A cute introductory book, very accessible, short, well-written.
I remain frustrated with astrology's gender binaries and the way it tends to discuss metabolism. How many times do I need to read about who has 'the pants' in a relationship? Just say 'controlling.' Just say 'person' instead of 'female or male'. The changes aren't hard to do.
I've had a little astrology kick this year with some fascinating coincidences and alignments in my life that, while reading and looking into my astrological sign and other zodiacs, I've found Aries has related and resonated with me so closely, more so than other ones. I don't fully believe in the stuff, but it feels like a way to look at things when readings have been spot on. The book Aries, though, felt a bit flat for me and seems to have different information than other forms of knowledge. It's very short on content and didn't go into too much depth. Why did this book think that people interested in exploring their astrological sign needed to know which celebrities share their sign? The pages felt like they contained wasteful information, and I didn't feel it resonated. The content in the book is forgettable.
I can see why sometimes people like them. they are outgoing and fun to be around however they can be annoying at times, sometimes they don't mean to but they not aware of it other than that they normal people nothing special really.
Although short, this book series gives pretty good highlights and summaries of the different aspects of your zodiac sign. Also it's pretty funny too which is a plus. I recommend this to astrology beginners.
- A cute pocket-book for each astrologically sign - Some basic info, but not very detailed - Good for overview & basic traits & characteristics for various signs.
This is an easy-to-understand and fun look into the star sign of the ram. I found the author's style to be personable without a lot of fluff. I give it two thumbs up!
I’ve never really been into astrology as far as knowing my star sign is Aries. But after listening to this I cannot believe how many times I was genuinely stunned by how accurate this book described me, or at least who I’ve always felt I was supposed to be.
As someone who has kind of seen astrology as a bit of a gimmick lots of people seem to be obsessed with, I am amazed. This is probably a very short introduction to the star signs and houses, but for me I can already tell it has helped shape who I’m going to be for the better.
It is an almost sad revelation to realise I have been thinking I’m a completely different person, whilst denying myself a real personality. Thanks for helping me learn that.
This took me a while to finish because of school but i love this book!I like to see how the author viewed most Aires.I am one myself so this was very interesting.
