About the author

G.R. Cooper

10 books40 followers
G.R. Cooper is a twenty year veteran of the game industry, mostly spent in the trenches of massively multi-player online game development. He's done a little of everything; producing, level design, AI scripting, community management, customer support - even a little 3D modeling - but he considers himself a game designer at heart. He's worked for big game companies you've heard of, as well as a lot of little start-ups that never went anywhere (but were a whole metric butt-load of fun to work at).

While much of his job does indeed involve, and revolve around, writing, the Omegaverse is his first endeavor in trying to put that skill-set to work in fiction (unless you count many of his weekly status reports).

Nice litrpg series

This series has gone in an unpredictable direction as compared to other similar stories and that has been a welcome change. It is slow in terms of character progression, but packs plenty of action. Just wish the author was able to write at this level of quality at a faster pace. This entry in the series had some mature content which might not appeal to all, but was appropriate to the setting.

Please sir, may I have another?

This is a blanket review for all six books thus far. Firstly, I would like to thank the author for keeping this series on Kindle Unlimited. Secondly, I would like to point out that this series has something for everyone. It starts out as a sci-fi litrpg, but then twists into a fantasy litrpg. The interaction between Taipan and Phani is interesting in that each became more due to a snap decision. There is an overall mystery of the line that blurs between reality and virtual reality that makes it difficult to determine exactly what the truth is. Good world-building, although deeper detail about the characters who are conducting experiments would be good. I realise that this might be a build for anticipation and foreboding but patience was never a virtue I pretended to possess. It is hoped that a new book will be forthcoming, this is a good series. I highly recommend.

Great series and worth the read if you are a fan of litrpg

First of all the story lines seem to move along nicely without getting to bogged down in stat details you do give them at the ends which is a nice touch. As a KU reader I greatly appreciate you keeping the series available to KU subscribers and a review is only fair. This book is well worth the time and you will find yourself not wanting to put it down.

Good Litrpg done right

Wulfgar and his friends continue their adventures and prepare for battle against a rival kingdom. Well paced and thought out, I wish it were longer. The author doesn't turn this into a psuedo litrpg with an overpowered protagonist building a harem, which is a nice change. There is sex and violence don't get me wrong, it's just not the focus. Looking forward to discovering more in future volumes.

Another fun entry in the series, although it feels like #5 came out a long time ago. As an entry back into the series though, it works well even though I wish it was longer.

Be aware that this is more graphical than the previous iterations in the series, but that we also get a few more answers to the overreaching story Arc.

Hopefully we'll get the next one soon.

Another good adventure in the omegaverse.

This book does a good job of setting up the plot for what will likely be the next 2 or 3 books. While it was mostly this set-up, the story had enough adventure and mayhem to keep up the reading pace.

Great story, and I can wait for more.

This was a great read. I can't wait for another book to drop. I love the fact that Mr. Cooper is continuing to release on kindle unlimited. I hope he gets the recognition he deserves. This a great addition to the litrpg books on the market.

Great continuation of the series

Cooper has created an expansive litrpg world that encompasses both scifi and fantasy elements all wrapped up in save the species from extermination goodness. Fun read!

Read it

Great series, love the dual scifi fantasy setting.
It seems like it's a little faster paced than the previous ones, but it's been a while.
