The Third Temple: A Sign of The Coming Messiah

Rate this book
Does the Bible really predict a Third Temple? How can a Third Temple be built on the Islamic holy site of the Temple Mount? Theories and speculation about a future Third Temple in Jerusalem are becoming more and more prevalent in our day. There are those who debate the location of the former Temples in Jerusalem while others believe that the existing Temple Mount is the exact place. Can we really be certain about the location of the former Jewish Temples and also see a Third Temple built in the near future? In The Third A Sign of the Coming Messiah, Daniel Goldstein will take the reader on a journey through the pages of the Bible and along the path of history with a focus on Jerusalem, the Temple Mount, and specific prophecies about a Third Temple. Through careful observation of the prophecies found in the Bible, Daniel Goldstein will examine the facts regarding a Third Temple together with the biblical signs of the coming of the Messiah. Although some biblical prophecies appear to be cryptic and challenging to the average reader, there are many biblical prophecies that are easily understood and provide literal signs of the coming of the Messiah. The "Seventy-Weeks Prophecy" found in the book of Daniel together with several key prophecies found in the New Testament provide a roadmap for navigating the signs of the coming of the Messiah including the Third Temple, which will be one of the most significant signs.

Worth reading!

I enjoyed this book immensely. The history in particular was concise and written without any apparent bias. I found with only two exceptions Dr. Goldstein's analyses well-reasoned and supported. The two areas i thought were "thin' compared to his analysis of other topics, were his critic of pre-trib theology (really his own description or idea of what pretrib theology is) and no assessment at all of the Southern Conjecture for another location of the temple site. However, that didn't detract much from my enjoyment of the book. I definitely recommend it for anyone who want to increase their knowledge of the subject!

Fascinating and exciting argument

This book is a very succinct, yet engaging history of Israel and especially of the building of the first two Temples, using both Scripture and extra-biblical material. It also provides a clear timeline for the non-expert to follow that traces what happened to the nation after it was conquered and the Jews were scattered. What I found most interesting was Goldstein’s theories on what could happen to bring about the construction of a third Temple on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem and exactly where it might be. It was all very interesting!

A wonderful experience

An enthralling journey through the timeline of three Temples, offering a wealth of information beautifully crafted and presented to the entranced reader, on this hugely important subject. Although Daniel Goldstein wasn't able to persuade me on one or two areas of Scripture, I have been greatly blessed by this superb work, and feel richer for the experience. I would love to sit down over a coffee and speak more with the author on this inspirational work
