A Royals of Solana novella
One year after reclaiming the throne of Solana, the island is still healing and rebuilding. Relentless paparazzi plague the royal family.
Limelight follows André and Gemma to every corner of the island, shining an invasive light on their blinding passion. With a rock on her finger for nearly a year, André fears she won’t ever agree to a nuptial date. Her fear of commitment rules much of their relationship until they discover an unlikely betrayal from within the palace.
Alanna and Flynn face the pressures of royal responsibility. He struggles to find his place by his queen’s side. Along with the obligation of producing an heir to the throne, he’s forced to face his own insecurities regarding personal childhood challenges. The weight on Alanna’s shoulders has never been greater, and the eyes of the world are watching. Every detail of her life is dictated by governmental protocol.
Finding the privacy they need to rekindle the spark seems as difficult as navigating the turbulent waters of a royal wedding. Happily Ever After is on the edge of disaster.

I am in love all over again with the Royals of Solana and this little novella is just icing on already decadent cake. I am still swooning so bear with me, ok?
I am a sucker for royalty romance. I mean, my name DOES mean Princess in Hebrew so there's that. On top of that, there's elements of suspense throughout the Royals of Solana series.
So I came late to the party on this one. I jumped in on the series at Crown of Solana, the third book. But everything had been so well described and previous books eluded to that it didn't impede my enjoyment of the book and I was able to pick up right where Gemma, Andre, Alanna and Flynn had left off and speed-read right through.
So when I found out that there was a Royal Wedding happening in Solana, you know I was here for it.
Privacy is hard to come by for Prince André and Gemma in Solana. The limelight continues to be in tow, shining an invasive light on their blinding passion. With a rock on her finger for nearly a year, André fears Gemma won’t ever agree to a nuptial date. Her fear of commitment rules much of their relationship until they discover an unlikely betrayal from within the palace.
Queen Alanna and Flynn face the pressures of royal responsibility. He struggles to find his place by his queen’s side. Along with the obligation of producing an heir to the throne, he’s forced to face insecurities regarding his childhood challenges with Autism.
The weight of leadership has never been greater for the royals, and the eyes of the world are watching.
Full of witty dialogue and moments that will make your heart melt, this little epilogue is tailor-made of HEA these characters deserve. The characters are fun and well written. Pretty sure Alanna is my spirit animal in royalty form.
Everything feels fast-paced and full of luxurious detail that will make you want to experience the entire series all over again. While the novella takes place after book three, it can be enjoyed as a stand-alone. But take it from me, it's best enjoyed if you start from the beginning. :) After reading 'Crown', I needed to go backwards to see what I had missed.
I highly recommend for anyone looking for a quick feel-good, royal-inspired, rich, tropical locale romance novella to binge on through the dreary weekdays. It's everything you could ask for in your bookscape.
This is my first read of a Susan Sheehey book and oh now I wish I had read the other 3 books in the series! This wonderful writer brings such emotional prose to her superb read. What a beautiful emotional wedding for Prince André and Gemma, now Princess Gemma, it brought a tear to me eye! But Alanna was so angry and upset that she was excluded from the private wedding they so wanted! As Alanna so wanted to give her beloved brother away. How can Gemma and Andre make amends? There was intrigue, leaks within the royal family, the dreaded paparazzi, blackmail and such depth to all the characters. I loved Flynn who was ordinary, down to earth and had such protective parents. Will Alanna’s wedding to Flynn go without problems from the cartel leader? Is this the end of the Cartel? I cried, I laughed and I simply put, loved this great read from Susan Sheehey. I can highly recommend this one-click must read and I am volunteering to leave a review for an ARC of this book.
I enjoyed the Knights of Texas series, so was excited when the author offered me the opportunity to read an ARC of Royal wedding. However, not having read the previous books, I was lost. With supplied references, it seems that the previous books were very exciting with an attempted coup by some mercenaries of the island kingdom of Solana, the only place in the world where the precious gem amepphire found, and the murder of the king and crown prince. An exiled prince finds love in Texas and a kidnapped princess is rescued by an Australian who has ASD.
This short story seems to be an epilogue- until the end. So I will have to start with the first book.
Royal Wedding - A quick read with an ending not excepted!
The Royal Wedding g was a great a really quick read. The ending was definitely not what I expected! Gemma and Andre were they going to get married or did they break up again? What happened this time? Alanna and Flynn did they have the big wedding or did they elope like they wanted to? Some many questions to be answered guess you will have to read it to find out what happens!
I loved the entire Solana series, so when I heard that a Royal Wedding was coming up I was thrilled! These characters are so rich, the world-building of the island of Solana so real that I actually looked on TripAdvisor for it (bummer, not there) and the finale is so perfect. This is the perfect HEA for a perfect series.
I absolutely loved this little read. It was AWESOME to see Flynn and Alanna again, as well as Gemma and Andre. I love to see HEAs in action, and this book did not disappoint. So fantastic! Steamy and fast-paced, as well as an ending with a bang that left me wanting more. I can't wait to see what Sheehey comes up with next for the fantastic world of Solana! So awesome! I really loved it!
It was so great for Alanna and Flynn and Gemma and Andre get their happily ever after! I was smiling so big until the last two lines… I’m like what the hell?!
