‘FOLLOW THE A TALE OF TALES’ SERIES

This was a fascinating tale of how your money travels. It goes from drug dens to restaurants to well, everywhere. The stories were engaging and the narration by Matthew Kerslake was fantastic! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

An excellent book that is quirky and keeps you hooked right till the end. I hope there are more books like these to come. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Fun dialogue, good action, interesting format. The narrator does great with the different accents. Reminded me of the movie Snatch. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Really liked this story and found myself not wanting to pause it! Really good story. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

A very clever, fast, varied, story. Of money on its journey through people’s lives. Hysterical, shocking, sad, but never dull! A very entertaining way to pass four hours+. I must look for more from David Fuentes. Ten out of ten for Mathew Kerslakes swift change and accurate accents, even getting my own Scottish one correct. A feat very few thespians can achieve! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Catch that Note 💸

After listening to David Fuentes', first novella in this series entitled " The £20 Note " , I searched for the subsequent novellas in the series but despite looking on several sites, I was unable to locate them. As such, jumping into " The £20 Note, A Twist of Fate", Book 5, left some gaps in the storyline. I preferred this novella despite its occasional foul language as I didn't have to worry if the younger teenagers walked in while I was listening. The content in this novella was considerably less sexually explicit. Despite missing novellas 2-4, this title wraps up some of the crimes that occurred in the first installment of " The £20 Note ", which was a pleasant surprise. I would have enjoyed pursuing the money's progress, and I may continue to search for the complete series so I can follow the storyline to its conclusion. The author continues to introduce quirky characters which gives these novellas a certain charm. The narrator, Matthew Kerslake, does a great job with voice characterizations. His enthusiasm for the storyline comes through in his reading which strengthens his performance. I wouldn't recommend reading this novella as a stand-alone. It requires, at minimum, the first story " The £20 Note " for this novella to have some context. I thought the premise of the author's storyline very interesting however I believe reader/listeners would be better served if all the novellas were combined into a novel. The continuity of the story would be maintained and the length of the novel would justify the spending of a credit. 4 🌟🌟🌟🌟

I received a complementary copy of this audiobook from StoryOrigin in exchange for an honest review. I am not related nor friends with this author. The opinions expressed in this review are fully mine unless identified as that of another person.

Interesting Premise ...

I thought that the premise for this novella was quite interesting. I'm not giving anything away by stating that the author, David Fuentes', idea is to have the reader follow the path of a £20 Note as it travels through London from one person to another. The book is a novella that is part of a series therefore we are only afforded a glimpse of the entire storyline. To witness the trajectory of the note is quite thought-provoking, as it moves from one person to another, none of them knowing it's origin. The storyline is primarily a crime series and the violence occurs quickly in the novella. It is difficult to comment on the type of crime that the note becomes involved in, without giving away too much of the story but suffice to say that this novella should be rated for "adults only" due to some rather explicit content. The narrator, Matthew Kerslake, does a fine job with his voice characterizations although as a male, female voices are always more difficult to achieve. The story moves quickly and leaves the reader/listener wanting to know where the £20 Note travels next which is the sign of a good novel. 3.5 🌟🌟🌟.🌟

I did the audio I didn't read this,I listened to the audio! This is about a murder,a continuing story of a couple who are detectives who work together to solve murders in their small towns! You met the whacky unusual people who there! Meredith narrates the story herself and she does a great job at it! Listen, read, but do the story, you will really enjoy this cute cozy story! this story where you follow the 20 Note to place to place person to person where a crime happens! The narration on this story has everything, marshals voices, the accent for that time in England! You will enjoy this story of the different characters in this story to the crime and.who did it!!

The 20 Pound Note by David Fuentes is only part of the story. It's extremely short, and doesn't have the full development that I was hoping for. Matthew Kerslake did a great job with his performance. I could hear differences between characters. I would have enjoyed this book more if it wasn't just a small episode of the book. I did enjoy the unexpected twists and the premise of the book. I requested this review copy audiobook and have voluntarily written this review.

Something extraordinary! And I loved it! Epic!
An unusual and enjoyable plot in this novella brings us along on a unique trip as we follow the £20 note as it passes from person to person, involving us with several scenarios, as different in many ways. Matthew Kerslake narrates to perfection. Thank you to author David Fuentes for allowing me to listen freely. I’m looking forward to the others in this series. Get it. You won’t be sorry! Highly recommended. I want more!

A Day In The Life Of A £20 Note
An eye-opening look into the journey a single £20 note can take in a very short span of time in bustling London, England. Hold tightly to your wallet or purse as you never know who is going to bump into you and take you by surprise! Well written and great narration.

Maybe the audio would have brought this story to life better than the ebook. I was thrown off by illogical changes in tense, poor punctuation, and a slow pace. Still, following a 20 lb. note from person to person is an intetesting premise.

Content: strong language and provocative/sexual innuendo

Not sure what rating to give it. It is an interesting concept, following the money but it's got more language than I'd normally put up with. Why her shower needed to be described is beyond me.

Short and a good story! The narrator was kind of boring but as he continues you will over look at it As I did. He kept a good pace.

Super short story but good. Same previous narrator and my opinion for him is still the same. Ugh....

A very interesting series of stories

Each story is interesting and different. An intriguing mix naughty at times, revealing the author's knowledge of the world. Enjoy.

Good story, shame about all the spelling mistakes and not knowing the difference between a turncoat and torneque just one example

I received this book in return for an honest review. It was ok but the writing seems poor. I appreciate it was a novella but it seemed very short & choppy. I can't say I enjoyed it
