The Birthday Book has so many ideas for birthdays of any age!
There are party ideas, food ideas, invite ideas, game ideas, there are also some very original suggestions on making that special day extra special and meaningful. There is a very inventive ‘Birthday Party Kit’ ideal for a travelling teenager. There are some thoughtful suggestions for older birthdays. There are some beautifully simple ideas to make small children’s birthdays special and magical.

Illustrated with line drawings on each page, this is a very nice book to look through, the section on birthday traditions in other parts of the world made an interesting addition.
Just like other books in the Festival Series, this book has some wonderful ideas for starting up family traditions and little rituals that make family life special.

I appreciate the low-tech, make-it-special ideas throughout this Waldorf book. There is also plenty of history about natal days and their celebrations. If you are seeking to establish meaningful, timeless traditions beyond the inspiration of your big-box party store or over-the-top pinterest boards, then this is your book!

Another winner in the crafts, festivals and family activities series.
I love this book. Great ideas for making birthdays meaningful and memorable. Not another party planning book with elaborate and expensive ideas - simple, gentle, and appropriate birthday fun.
