About the author

A former actor, theatre-director and drama teacher, Deary says he began writing when he was 29. Most famously, he is one of the authors of the Horrible Histories series of books popular among children for their disgusting details, gory information and humorous pictures and among adults for getting children interested in history. Books in the series have been widely translated into other languages and imitated.

A cartoon series has been made of the series of books and was shown on CiTV for a period in 2002.

The first series of a live-action comedy sketch show of the same name was shown on CBBC in 2009 and a second series is due.

Terry is also known widely throughout children and adult reading groups alike for his True Stories series (see below for series list).

He received an Honorary Doctorate of Education from the University of Sunderland in 2000. His numerous accolades also include the Blue Peter "Best Nonfiction Author of the Century" Award in the U.K.

داستان در مورد اطلاعات مربوط به سازمان سیا ست که از طریق یکی از مامورانشون به روسیه لو می‌رفته و اینکه حقیقت موضوع چی بوده.
داستان‌پردازی این جلد بهتر بود ولی محتوای داستان رو کمتر از دو جلد اول دوست داشتم.

سه دادم اما شاید اونقده هم نباشه.
چیز اونقده جالبی توی این جلد ( که جلد سوم پرونده های محرمانه نوشته ی تری دیری بود) نبود. داستان در مورد مردیه که به نظر میاد یکی از کارمندان سازمان سیاست اما اطلاعاتی رو به روس ها می فروخته. و معما اینه که آیا اون واقعاً یه جاسوس دو جانبه بوده یا کسی بوده که سیا توسط اون اطلاعات غلط به روس ها می رسونده؟

نسبت به دوجلد قبل داستانش جالب نبود🤕مقدمه کل داستان و اسپویل کرده بود و باعث شد هیجان داستان از بین بره😭🥺موضوع تکراری ای هم انتخاب شده بود از این اتفاقا زیاد پیش میاد که شهروندی به کشورش خیانت کنه و اسرار کشورش رو به یه کشور دیگه بفروشه بعدم لو بره و بندازنش زندان😫 انتظار داشتم رفته به رفته بهتر بشه اما بهتر که نشد بدتر شد🥺شخصیت پردازی هم مثل دو جلد قبلی بود من فقط شخصیت هارو با اسمشون می شناسم و تصوری از چهره شون ندارم🤦🏻‍♀️شاید اگه رو شخصیت پردازی بیشتر کار شده بود کتاب بهتری می شد🤔
پ. ن: به نظرم داستان همون طوری اتفاق افتاده که بینس برای هولتز تعریف کرده بود.
