I wanted to like this book.
I enjoy most reverse harem stories
This one was just a bit flat for me
The characters were not really developed and there was not growth
I found myself gazing over a lot of the information and sadly didn't feel any connection to the Heros or the Heroine
It was less than 200 pages which may play into me feeling like it wasn't enough due to there being no time to let the relation ship between our MC's grow
Enjoyable but not memorable.
I may read more from this author just to see if i like alternate stories from her

Aleah was one of the chosen. Being a Chosen means she's locked away in a castle, along with 24 other women, and the priest who are the keepers of the Chosen women. Aleah is a bit of a bad girl and is always finding ways to rebel and question her keepers. She's dissatisfied with her life of captivity and longs to know what lies beyond the walls of the castle. All she is ever told is told is that the Chosen are the future and this was what their society required of them. What they do not tell her is that they have been at war so long with another nation they do not even recall what they have been fighting about.
Stuck in her Castle prison which seems like a nunnery or convent, she begins to pray that something would happen to relieve the boredom and monotony of her life. Be careful what you pray for as suddenly 4 badass warriors appear and break down the walls discovering her and stealing her away. Of course she is terrified and regrets her wish for more out of life than praying for a while.
Kidnapped by four men on a mission and she finally gets to see the outside when her four strapping warriors Gabe, Killian, Jax and Adrien bombard the castle compound and take her back to their home. There she explores and discovers their world while forming a permanent bond with her warriors. . She learns more about her people as they head to their lands. Aleah is innocent but is soon finding herself attracted to all her captors.Adrien and Killian seem nice and adorable guys. Jax is more intense while Gage is like a regular guy. Poor Aleah! Unbeknownst to her, she is to be a sacrifice to a volcano so that the war between her nation and another nation will be swayed her nation's way. Unfortunately for the citadel where her and 24 other virgins are ensconced she is soooo not obedient. She gets bored and has too much energy to exude. In her years there, she's gotten into so much trouble being disobedient. No matter how much punishment she takes, it doesn't work. One night after finding out what is in store for her and her other virgins, she intends to leave. She heads to a floor where she can hopefully use to escape. Unfortunately for her, on her way out, she sees men, real honest to gosh men!! Young!! not old like the priests. She's kidnapped and taken. Four gorgeous men take her, and she starts to not only stymie them but talks alot. She wants to know the what where why and how....the way she throws them off kilter when she asks what a virgin is is totally hilarious! But in the back of her mind is the necessity to go back and save her best friend Sadie. Therein comes the tale of a rescue!
This is a wonderful and at times hilarious story about one young woman's journey into adulthood as a woman and the men she has here eye on.

I thoroughly enjoyed this RH book! Loved the extremely sheltered innocence twist!
Aleah was one of the "Chosen" on her island home. Raised by priests and caretakers with 24 other virgins in a secluded cathedral with no contact with the outside world, and punished for even having an original thought, her world is rocked when she realizes what she was "chosen" for. While trying to escape, she is kidnapped by four hot warriers from the inhabitants of the other side of the island.
Her absolute innocence and naivety was actually humorous in her early conversations with her captors. But her new life is exciting and full of new experiences that Aleah embraces whole-heartedly. And her kidnappers, Jax, Gage, Killian and Adrian, are eventually quite willing to help her gain all the knowledge she wants of their people. The five of them have all sorts of trials and excitement before life starts to settle into a rhythm. Fun and very entertaining book! Just what I've come to expect from Savannah Skye.

Ashe was a Chosen a Chosen is taken and locked away in a castle a long with other women by a priest. The other women accept it but not Ashe she is a bit of a trouble maker and she is always asking questions about what was outside the castle walls. One day she prays to be able to leave the castle, then 4 warriors break down the walls and capture her and that’s the last time she prays for something to happen. The 4 warriors Adrien, Killian, Gabe and Jax take Ashe back to their home there they teach and show her the land and it’s people. She forms a bond with the 4 warriors they are so protective of Ashe as she is to her warriors. Wow Savannah Skye has done it again this was a fantastic read and I wasn’t able to put the book down at all. This book is full of hot and steamy scenes, suspense, adventure and humour, there’s nothing like having a good chuckle with a book and this one certainly does that. I highly recommend this book it’s definitely well worth the read.

Aleea has the heart of an adventurer and the life of the dullest nun. She was raised in a group of other virgins who didnt know that they were raised to take part of an ancient ritual to appease a volcano and be thrown into it. Aleea is saved by the enemy, a group of strong daring warriors. She learns more about like beyond "prison" walls and embraces her new life, which includes having sex eventually with her four saviors. Learning the sacrifice is still planned to move forward, she insists on going back to rescue her closest friend.
This book was a little on the short side and some what rushed. i wanted to know so much more background regarding the men as i could not get a full picture for who they are: the womanizer, the dominant, the awkward "geek", and the brawn with the gentle heart.... i wanted to know more about thrm but there was not the opportunity to do so.

Not sure about this one. It was pretty basic on all fronts, except for the "reverse harem" part. I don't think the four lovers added to the story at all. It seemed to me that the focus of the story was on the the sex and nothing else. The plot has room for some pretty amazing story lines, but nothing ever came of them. Again, the author was too worried about sex than sacrifices, but whatever.
Overall, I liked Aleah enough, as well as the guys. I just don't think the story needed to be the way it was. The book didn't explain why Aleah was having feelings for four men, only that yesterday she was a virgin, and today she has four different lovers. Whatever. The logistics don't usually ruin a book for me, but in this case something just doesn't add up.

This book is about two warring nationals that have been at it for so long that neither knows for what any longer. Aleah is part of the Chosen and has been raised secured with 24 other girls. They are taught what is expected of them but she does not want to follow this way of life. She ends up being kidnapped by the other side and she ends up falling for all the warriers who saved her. This is such a beautiful story.

Aleah is a sheltered girl living inside the castle, yet yearning to see what lay beyond the castle walls. She gets her wish one day, only to be abducted by four warriors. While this appeared to be a historical setting, the prose was more contemporary, and I actually found that it worked for this story. There was enough dated references to indicate that this was not a modern-day setting, and I enjoyed the reverse harem aspect. The beginning was a little bit slow, but it picked up fairly quickly as the story progressed. Good read featuring a smart young lady and her sexy men.

I loved this book from the first page. I loved Aleah and her "bad girl" personality. She is a rule breaker with a sassy attitude, and she likes to annoy people just because. She isn't happy behind the castle walls and her fondest wish is to discover the world outside. Then one day her wish comes true. What follows is a wonderful adventure. This is a entertaining story, with wonderful characters, moments of humor, and a beautiful love story.

Now I love a good reverse harem as much as the next person but I have to admit that this author writes a great reverse harem story that will have you hooked not only on the fantastic storyline, the action, the fast pace, the great characters but also with the steamy scenes and the characters bonding / relationships. This is one fun & entertaining story that you should not miss!

So freaking funny!!!
Seriously. Sexy for sure, but also? Snort worthy! I laughed my butt off as the FMC asks what a virgin is and a group of warriors try to explain it. Then I was telling my husband about it in the car and he got a call. 15 minutes later my teenage boy in the backseat says “hey are you ever going to finish your story?” I was like “about my book?!?!?” Yup. He needed to know how the scene ended. He thought it was hilarious.

The love reading reverse harem stories. And Savannah Skye have a long list of it, that's why i enjoy reading her books. But with this one? I felt that everything is missing.
The idea is there. The plot is kinda interesting, bit it isn't well executed. I didn't feel the romance between the characters, nor does it have developments. The story might have been better but it isn't. It got boring as the story goes by. 😔

I love this writer so much. I love reading all of her books she has not let me down yet. All her books have kept me on the edge of my seat from begining to end. I love it so much and highly recommend it to anyone who loves a great author and books.

Made me laugh
The was actually very fun story. I laughed throughout the first part of it. Our girl was so wonderfully wicked as a Chosen. I loved her internal dialog about all her wicked ways. You could her me laughing throughout the house. We had a little drama. It wasn't a real deep story, but still better than expected.

This is a great complete RH fantasy story, Aleah is a chosen and loves a boring life, the priests say she is wicked but she is bored. One day she is kidnapped and her life changes drastically

The female protagonist in this book is strong, and sassy. She reminds me a lot of Willa in the Curse of the Gods series. This was a good standalone read. It was fast paced, and it felt complete. It didn’t really leave you asking a lot of questions or feeling like things were left unsaid/unanswered. All in, a good book if you’re looking for a standalone reverse harem option.

I chose to read and review this book. I enjoy this author work. This one was amazing. I liked how the characters meet and interact together. I love reverse hareem books. They are very sexy. This one had a lot of fo sparks and desire to it. It also has some sweet funny moments. It has a lot to be felt I wished I was her in some scenes she is very bold and sexy like her men. I recommend this one

A spicy reverse harem romance with good chemistry and a fun plot. Be careful what you wish for you just might get it! With lots of heat and some drama and excitement this was an entertaining read. I'm posting a completely voluntary review after reading this book.

My kind of story.. Hot, exciting, suspenseful, fun and so much more. It has a great storyline and fun characters. Grabs your attention and keeps it. Boy did she get a surprise. And an adventure. I was given a review copy and voluntarily review it.

I just really didn't like it. No depth to any of the men or main character. Went from a soon to be dead dumb virgin to sleeping with four men at a time in ten days and calling herself a soldier? Just no.
