I'm reviewing this one specifically for its use in facilitating a group study, though it would also work well for individual study. I really appreciated this look at some of the least studied books of the Bible. Thought the expository questions and then thoughts on how it connects to the larger story of the Bible were great. For my group, it would have worked better if the questions in the second half of each lesson were a little more specific and directed than just "reflect". Because it was so open ended, this sometimes made it hard to get good discussion going. But overall a very good study and I would recommend.

Really grateful for this study. It provides such a rich theological understanding of the books being studied, God’s character, and how the gospel is woven through the entire Bible. It’s a really helpful study if you’re personally lamenting and have big questions for God, as the authors of Lamentation, Habakkuk, and Zephaniah provide great examples of.

This is another great study in the "Knowing the Bible Series." If you have never studied Lamentations, Habakkuk, and Zephaniah in detail then I would highly suggest doing this study. Each book is studied in depth and lays out how these books connect to the whole Bible and God's story of redemption. Christ is clearly displayed in Lamentations, Habakkuk, and Zephaniah. As we await the coming judgment, we are sure that in Christ, we will escape God's wrath, but only because God poured out his wrath upon Christ on the cross.

Good commentary and theology but the questions on Habakkuk and Zephaniah were really lacking. Supposed to spend 3 weeks on Habakkuk and 3 weeks on Zephaniah but each were more like 1-2 weeks worth of content.

I loved this study. The book gave me a clearer understanding of the minor prophets. The questions were not to much nor to long.
