Under Her Spell

Rate this book
Three little words, and everything changed for Christa Morrow. She should have known it was too soon to tell Jeremy Pearce she loved him, but when their relationship changed from friends to lovers, she assumed he returned her feelings. One look at his face and she knew she was wrong. She planned to speak with him after she gathered her courage, but the discovery of a powerful book of magick—and the evil trying to steal it—forced her to leave in a hurry. She knew she’d have to face Jeremy when she returned to Havenport, but she was unprepared for the rush of emotions seeing him evoked. Nor did she expect him to profess his love for her. She’s convinced his sudden change of heart is the result of a spell her mother cast. Jeremy Pearce didn’t know how much he loved Christa until she was gone. When she shows up in Havenport, he demands an answer for where she’s been. But a magick book and evil witches? He doesn’t know whether to hug her or strangle her. Especially when she insists his love isn’t real but the result of a spell. But when the evil witch shows up and threatens Christa, he’ll do anything he can to save the woman he loves. Under Her Spell is the second book in the Witches of Havenport series.

The characters are well developed and likable. The storyline is well written, with a magick book, witches, and a possible love spell.

I loved this paranormal romance and I am looking forward to reading more in this series.

This is the 4th book I've read written by Emma Kaye; she has done a great job at writing a good book; I can’t wait to read more of her books.

The story line caught my attention at the very beginning and kept me interested throughout the entire book.

I loved the chemistry between the characters.
