THE BET: Pick up the Blonde Chick sitting in Row 3
MAX
They all love me – both children and mothers alike. Nurses too. I don’t think it has anything to do with my tongue… …depressor.
I wanted to be a ball player, Now I’m stuck with runny nosed brats. I’d rather spend the day chasing the skirts at the nurses station.
I was dared to pick up the blonde at the ball game, Didn’t realize she was the condescending mother from the other day.
CLAIRE
He’s a jerk and an asshole, and I never want to see him again. Unfortunately, he’s the new pediatrician, and my son isn’t feeling too hot.
He couldn’t care less about anyone’s well-being, Other than his own.
Yet the only thing that seems to cross my mind is his eyes on me.

This short read is fast paced, has graphic language, and characters with strong personalities. Max is cocky, feels entitled and sure of himself. Claire is determined, hard working and a single mother of a six year old. They both have sharp minds and quick tongues. The bantering between them is sharp and a fun read. The plot is simple but it is a fun read. Enjoy!
Great story with great characters. The Dr Snyder is a real, real *sshole. I really loved the story, but maybe the end should had deserved more lines and chapters to finish.
