We witness a supermarket scene with a young woman and her baby (Baby Ben) walking the aisles, shopping. All kind of strange characters are described (the woman in jellow), or the fat man on the scooter to name but two. On their way from the diaper section to the register and ugly old woman kidnapps Baby Ben. Can he be saved? This story has a fine, compelling atmosphere (you really wait for something to happen) and a great set of characters (everybody sees some weirdos in the supermarket). Also the denouement is fine. Fast paced, well written, disturbing, eerie... to make it short, a recommended read!
