An impressive and well-written set of wargames rules, dripping with the history-nerd enthusiasm that can often make these things impenetrable, but in this fine work the enthusiasm sweeps you along through the otherwise dry job of telling you what dice to roll when - only some layout issues (salient points being buried in blocks of text being one) mar this. A fine set of rules worthy of the popularity it has gained.
