Couldn't finish....
This started off good..The plot hinges on tragedy that blooms into a wonderful romance. The H&H appear to have been written with great character development. But I only saw glimpses of it.
In between these moments are passages filled with raunchy over the top..."Fifty BS Shades" of sex. Total turnoff for me as I feel there is a thin line between raunchy & romantic. I stopped reading because just as you think you're past one of these yucky entries..boom..there's another.
Ho-hum..delete & onto the next.

Zeke and Noble have always felt an attraction to each other but neither knew the other one felt the same. After tragedy strikes Noble’s family , Zeke promises to always be there for Noble, but finds it hard to be just friends. These two realize after being best friends, that they could be even better lovers if they would just take a leap of faith.
Wild Irish is a sweet and at times, a little dirty romance about two people whom both need healing and find it and so much more in each other’s arms. Noble is a little hesitant at first but Zeke knows what he wants and that’s Noble and not even she will stand in his way of getting what he wants. The loves scenes are passionate and the characters lovable. If you’re looking for a sweet romance with plenty of fire, do not miss out on this one.

To overcome
Firefighters and first responders are a special group. They need love and compassion just like everyone else. Loss sucks. They both found love after loss. No love or life is perfect. Love makes it more so.

A good story of two people finding love as one overcomes their fears. Hmm, to bad there is not more to this story.

The pact turns into love
Although a short book it was packed with drama, courage, sadness, pain, love. Wild and Noble were brought together after her brother, a first responder firefighter with Wild, was killed in a terrible fire in the line of duty. Wild and Noble became an item because of helping Noble her brother’s mom get thru JoJo’s death. It was like a firefighters pact to help the family of the fallen firefighter go on with life.
Wild and Noble are still together and maybe marriage is on the table….soon.

The plot and the H and H were interesting but the story felt disjointed; we were jumping through time completely unmoored. A lot of good was said here about grief and overcoming ones past and best of all about seeking professional help. That part I liked a lot. The story needed another round of editing and something to ground it so that it doesn't read like a series of vignettes. Lastly, what happened to Ralph?

Interesting Noble found her soul mate someone she had known for awhile. With her brother get killed in the line of duty it was hard loving wild . She was afraid of losing Wild the same way she lost her brother. Noble has always been in control of her life turning control over to someone else is very hard to do. You will fall in love with this couple. Good read will keep you guessing

These two already good friends, so knew each other very well! They comfort each other after the main female’s brother is killed in line of duty. Attraction was always there, this time they take it to another level. Male is a firefighter and female is afraid of also losing him to another unfortunate incident, so fears commitment!

Nice and sweet
I wasn't fully prepared for a short story to have this many feels but Wild and Noble brought all of them. Touching on loss and being able to overcome it as well as being able to get out of your own way, it all made for a super sweet read.

I love firefighters and sweet romance short stories. This was cute and tender-2 besties falling in love while dealing with grief.
