September 13, 2026Again, a valuable lesson for an artist. I did get some new insights and tips for animation and sketching, which is always nice. Parr keeps saying how important it is to keep a sketchbook at hand. He literally wrote a whole book about it, so yeah, I do agree. Now that I've read the book, I'll probably take my sketchbook with me more often, just to get the feeling of drawing live instead of from a picture. I also appreciate the way Parr tackles art problems. It's probably not the way I would do it, but I like the insight, and it sort of inspires me to do it another way around! I unfortunately did not do any assignments, but hopefully I'll come back to those to try them out!
