Life was more than complicated for Billion as he quickly figured out that Blessing’s family was more than an average bunch. Rescuing her from after being shot by her own father, he gets introduced to the dangers of being with a girl whose family lives by a vicious way of life. Even more menacing than his own, he tries hard to be what is expected of him yet feels he is destined for failure. Though he is madly in love, he begins to rethink his worthiness for her affection. With dangers coming at them left and right, both try hard to maintain their devotion to each other yet feel as if it’s not worth upholding. As Blessing finally opens up and tells the people around her the deepest and darkest secret she has, her and Billion’s passion begins to slowly fade. Though he tries to put her back together, he finds out his friend needs his help, which leads to his demise. Dealing with his own demons, he walks the streets, angry and on a mission for revenge. The guilt inside of him will not allow him to stop until he sees the blood of those who wronged his boy painted on the streets. Will the two survive this test of love or will they let it burn in flames? Take this ride with me on the southside of Chicago and look into the lives of Billion and Blessing.
I was born in Chicago and raised in Harvey Il, a small town minutes away from the city. As a child, I loved reading and writing short stories, and grew up very fond of African American literature, and arts.
At the age of 27, I studied nursing at Brown Mackie College for License Practical Nurse. It was then that I found my love for urban novels. The first novel I've read was by the best seller Keisha Ervin, and hadn't stopped reading since. Through inspiration from my literary sisters and a good friend who is also an accomplished author, I wrote and published my first book, "A Hustla's Weakness."
I was excited when I saw that this was out but halfway through I was over it. There was so much crying and back and forth between Billion and Blessing that I almost quit without finishing. I'm so glad it's over. Then on top of all the unnecessary crying, the typos drove me crazy. Jesus a dictionary. If it wasn't misspelled words it was words used out of context. Girl, Google is your friend! Just add a dictionary app to whatever device used for writing! Laptop, desktop, tablet, iPad, android, iPhone WHATEVER just add a dictionary, jeezus. S@#t doesn't every device have spell check??? Those words that pop up above your Qwerty keyboard are the corrections to whatever word you're typing at that moment, use it.
This is the most realest love story that I have read in a long time. Billion and Blessing , what a combination. She was truly a real woman. Throughout all that she and Billion went through, the love remained true, and the faithfulness was there. That just goes to show you that the love is real. Her name says it all. It is truly a Blessing to have someone like Billion by your side.
Blessing is what a true definition of a Woman is. Even in her teens she was faithful to one person only. Billion should be lucky he found love in Blessing cause what he put her through a lot of women would of left him. Glad he looked out for Kiara and her daughter. Now maybe Kiara can get her a book with her finding Love again? Maybe Biz?
blessing and billions the true definition of young love, break up to make up. the snaking was at a all time high in the book. Sonya nor pat didn't deserve nothing in the end. Cam oh plotting and scandalous female having tendencies behind. Raven Raven sad but lost cause. Poor Jah
This book dragged on and on, toooooooooo much crying over stupid drama, repetitiveness and just not a believable story. It took me days just to finish and thats with skipping through the crying blah blah blah scenes. Should have been one book. Part one flowed and kept my interest. Just sad that the author couldn’t deliver the same flow as the first book.
This series was sooo crazy and told well....! This book is definitely a must-read.. I was soo happy for Bless&Billion because they definitely went through some things but I'm happy that got with that both deserved also Zeus& Faith!!! Raven just couldn't stop huh!!?Lol
This book was so good. T.Miles you took me on a roller coaster ride. I couldn’t put this book down. Billion and Blessing deserved their happiness. Zeus and Faith also. I’m so mad it ended. I loved the appearances from the Crew. I need to hear more from Lela and Rock.
OMG this was an amazing love story I was glad that Billion and Blessing had found there way back to each other after all he took her through. Mike Mike, Raven and K ROC got what they deserved.
I’m so sad this is over. This story was everything. Even though they were in high school they loved each other so much. I’m so glad Blessing told her mom what was going on. Mina what happened???? Amazing story.
This ending was so good. I’m happy the way things ended. Mina was a trifling female. She made that man endure 12 years of heartache for nothing. I’m so happy for Billion and Blessing.
I enjoyed these two books. It was good that Mike Mike got his due and Sonya was able to leave town. I guess that means there is room for her to come back and start some mess with the happy couple. Also Nina.
I loved this book I was on edge trying not to miss a beat and ready to beat billion up lol you and Nikki just know how to play with our emotions 😂 now I’m off to read more of your work
The second part of the story had so many crooks and turns. Billions attitude was for the birds. Blessing wasn't much better. Together they were a combustible coup!e. Lethal. I'm not sure the story was believable, with high school students behaving like adults...
This was a great series. Really enjoyed reading about Billion and Blessing. I'm extremely pleased with the ending. T.Miles my first time reading your work and I'm impressed
Billion went through a little bit of everything. But I'm glad he got it together and worked things out with Blessing. I'm glad Faith and Zeus got their happy ending too. Great job I enjoyed it.
