I happened upon this in the children's section. I feel like this book captures a lot of J.M. Barrie's personality and does a good job of giving us the information about his childhood and personal life that best illustrates how they were influential on his writing. It made me want to meet him.

A biography of Barrie for children. It is pretty good and while simplified, compared to Birkin's book, it does add a couple of things that Birkin's left out.

A good book for children to read to understand the man behind Peter Pan.
