As the youngest dragon at Treasured Ink, Sako's got years to find his fated mate—or so he thinks. When one of the top officials involved in a recent kidnapping ends up in the hospital, the dragons decide to interrogate him. Sako has no idea what he's in for.
Carlo doesn't remember a damn thing. Last thing he knew, he was a petty thief running with a minor gang. When he wakes up at the hospital with tough, tattooed dragons glaring at him, he knows something's not right.
As Carlo struggles to remember his recent past, the dragons realize he might not be a bad guy after all. Memories trickle in and help the team uncover more about the evil organization aiming to take down mythical shifters. But will it be enough?
Sako and Carlo must learn to trust each other—which is a big ask, considering Carlo's history. But lust swirls between the tension, and the two reluctantly realize they might just be what the other needs.
Alpha Dragon: Sako is the fourth in a steamy new mpreg romance series centered around alpha dragons who love ink and getting inked. It's an amnesia romance. Each couple gets a HEA, but the books are best enjoyed in order. Warning: this book is hotter than a dragon's flame!
This book is easily the best in the series thus far... the authors in this one have crafted a well-written, suspenseful and sweet story in the enemies to lovers genre with the twist that the enemy has lost his most recent (several months at least) memories. They handle him slowly getting some but not all of his memory back beautifully as well as his and Sako's developing relationship. I love Sako and Carlo and their relationship. I also loved getting to learn more about Annika and the whole mystery of what kind of mystical shifter she is and her past. I can't wait to see where this whole storyline goes in book 5 and then onto the other related series the authors have written so far!
Alpha Dragon Sako was a fun entertaining read. Sako the youngest of the dragons at Treasured Ink has been put in charge of watching Carlo the wolf shifter involved in the mystical shifters disappearances. Carlo after waking up in the hospital has no knowledge of his past several months, he knows he has done wrong but not what. The two try to unravel Carlo’s past and try to determine who is behind the disappearances. The book is moderately paced and brings characters from past book into play.
The mystery deepens. I'm enjoying the mystery that threads through these stories. Carlo and Sako, seem to be a good pairing and wiping Carlo's memories seems to be a good way of avoiding a lot of his backstory that would otherwise derail this book. I would have liked to seen the interaction with Sako's parents, but that's a minor quibble.
I enjoyed Sako and Carlo's story. It continues where it left off in book 3 of the series. Carlo can't remember who or what he has done and the guys are trying to help him out. Of course he just happens to be Sako's mate.
