Paxton Starr is a world-famous illusionist. Deemed a mastermind in his field, he is often described as a modern-day Houdini with the ability to levitate and make purple flower petals rain from the sky. Yet, when not performing, he shies away from the limelight. People know little about the private life of this untouchable, enigmatic man-not much past the fact that he enjoys a good glass of cognac and taking a dive in the pool, or better yet, when the time allows, in the Pacific Ocean. That is, until one headstrong reporter for the Las Vegas Sun, Ivy Faye, gets the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to conduct an exclusive interview with him.
Ivy is driven, savvy, and a self-proclaimed proud manipulator. This has gotten her far in her line of business and she will stop at nothing to get her award-winning exclusives. Treating Mr. Starr as one of many to unravel, she has no idea about what she has signed up for. Starr is no ordinary man and it will take more than a pretty smile and well-placed words to find out what makes him tick.
What begins as a typical weekend interview turns into an inferno of hot chemistry and more unanswered questions. Paxton is not willing to put all his playing cards on the table, but Ivy's conflicting career goals and attraction for him force them both into a position neither dreamed possible. What do you do when friends betray you, love comes waltzing in, and the roll of the dice amounts to more than luck?
Paxton forces Ivy to discover that the true illusionist may not be him.

Let's preface this review by saying that I will be biased because I am a Pisces personified...we live in our created fantasy....we live out our fantasies..sometimes good sometimes bad....we get along with anyone....we are loyal to a fault...we crave fairness...we don't necessarily need to be love or liked by everyone....we just have to be respected...we cherish our solitude..just don't diss us...mess with us...and we do not tolerate b.s.....and we love unconditionally...having said that...Paxton is sexy as fu#k....so passionate...so very cocky....and with a third leg...Ivy was di#k whipped and speaking in tongues when he got his hand on her....still having flashes of Paxton and his magic appendages...😍😜😂🔟🔟
Paxton Starr/ Savelli and Ivy Faye were the sweetest couple. Ivy had a way with words that just made Paxton want to melt right into her. He opened up to her for her interview that he never had to anyone. He was known as a recluse outside of his stage presence. The private man was just wanting to be loved and he knew on instinct that Ivy would be the woman to bring him out of his meaningless playboy ways. Once he was able to get Ivy to spend the weekend with him, he had no desire to go drink or smoke and he began to sleep better. Ivy was afraid to get involved with such a broken man. Her heart had been broken by men who were entertainers including her father. But, no matter what, she was hooked on him and his package. She was a reporter who got her interview but kept their private interactions just that, private. She had to adjust to being in the public eye, once their relationship was revealed, and understood just why Paxton was a recluse in his private life. She also had to deal with a crazy ex, and properly put her in her place with her sharp cutting words.
This was a sweet heart warming story about two people, from different walks of life, coming completely undone by each other regardless of what their families said. It was a nice read.
Pax reminds me so much of Saint. This series real!u gets better with each book. The magic, the wow factor was always on point. The love and pAssion yesss. And Tiana 's comedic timing she brings to every story was all yhere .on to the next
By far one of my favorites characters out the Zodiac series. I am a cancer so I was really into the character. Paxton is definitely right up there with Saint and that is saying lot. I truly loved Ivy. I love that she was representing us tall ladies. Loved the story the characters and the development of the story. Sexy, raunchy, yet romantic. The only thing for me that is missing from the zodiac series is the zodiac of the lead female otherwise still wonderful reading. Can’t wait for next zodiac.
Another wonderful book by Ms Laveen. I like that i dont have to read the books in order to fully enjoy the story. Pax and Ivy's story was so heart warming hence I'll be reading the other stories in yhe future
Paxton Savelli, aka Paxton Starr is hauntingly enchanting; obscenely bewitching and fantastically fiendish. He is fusion of calm and chaos, with a plethora of sexual mysticism. Ivy Faye is the yin to Paxton’s yang; the eye in the middle of his storm. She’s his moral compass; a beacon of light in the darkness of his abyss. Unable to deny her feelings, she embraces them, knowing she’d rather risk the pain of a broken heart, than live with the regret of what could’ve been because she didn’t try. Together they realize their spellbinding connection. Optimistically hesitant, they share the gift of trust! Embracing the possibilities of a life filled with passion and magic.
Paxton with his sexy self! This was a good book that hit all my check marks: well-written, well developed characters, steamy sex and a happily ever after. It also has the Laveen Routine (comedy). This author could be the queen of the dozens; I had so many laugh out loud moments, I'm sure my coworker thought I was losing it!
There's also the teaching moments. Paxton always felt and was treated differently, especially by his family. Ivy saw it was because he was an empath. He felt so much from everyone, he literally needed to swim away. I liked how he told Ivy he swims in laps which meant he would always come back to her.
This is the third book in the series and even though I've enjoyed them all; this happens to be so exciting that it had me on the edge of my seat.
This is Paxton and Ivy's story. Paxton is an illusionist/magician that had manic energy. He was moody, reclusive but garnered a lot of attention. He was a master showman, who gave all of himself in his shoes but retreated once it was over.
Ivy was a journalist who became intrigued with Paxton. Even though he was opposed to exposing himself, he immediately reconsidered once he saw her picture.
This is an exciting, humorous, well written story that I'm sure you'll love.
A Very Good and Sensual Interracial Romantic Comedy
Pieces - Mr. Imagination: The 12 Signs of Love (The Zodiac Lovers Series Book 3) is a very good and sensual interracial romantic comedy that earned a rating of five stars. Paxton Star, famous magician grated Ivy Faye an exclusive interview for the Vagus Sun paper. He fell very quickly for the journalist but he had to work hard to persuade Ivy to come around to his way of thinking. I enjoyed reading this book and would recommend it to everyone who enjoys reading very good romantic comedies.
I liked how there was a natural progression of the book and characters without any artificial drama. I like the irony that her mother was probably more racist/reticent that the working class bostonians. I also liked how Ms Laveen touched on how siblings deal sometimes with more successful ones. As a aside, having read most of the series it’s safe to say that author loves Italians.
This author does such a good job telling a story. Most romances follow the formula of meeting, pursuing the relationship and then some angst causing tumult in the relationship before there is a HEA. Although there is some uncertainty in the story, there is no big angst (thankfully). You see the progression of this relationship and it doesn't end with the I Love You. It progresses further through the epilogue. I thank the author for that.
What can I say Paxton this Alpha had the world on his shoulder he had a lot going on but magic was his gift and oh what a gift then he meets a woman who wants a story from him and then the real magic begins love this couple can't wait to see what Tiana Laveen comes up with next
Loved, loved, loved Paxton!! In a lot of ways, he reminded me of Saint, lol! Poor Ivy, as strong as she thought she was, she never stood a chance with Paxton. The man had that whole sexy and mysterious thing going on, lol! But, they both found what they needed in each other. Great book. I'm really enjoying this series. Can't wait until the next book!
Pisces, I read this book to see if it resembled my now deceased boyfriend who was a Pisces. As I reflect on Paxton, I would venture to say it's possible that he was similar to my Darren. Paxton was far more focused, but I can still recall some of Darren's personality in this Pisces man.
I totally agree with this portrayal of a person who happens to be a Pisces being one myself I would definitely agree with the whimsical imagination and angst so yeah loved the story totally connected and can't wait for more!!!
I love the visuals of Paxton talent. The man is astounding, a true talent. I enjoyed Paxton and Ivy love story. Of all story, there was no break ups. Anxiously awaiting the next story.
I’m enjoying this series but this one so far is my favorite. The description of the magic tricks are so vivid that I can almost see them. This couple is like no other. Great from start to finish.
It was different and i loved Paxon..he reminded me of Jason Mamoa even down to the way he worshipped Ivy...every time i finish a story from the zodiac series i say this one is my favorite it just keeps getting better!
This was again an enjoyable read Ms. Laveen. I mostly appreciate that this love story didn't come with lengthy page after page full of unnecessary drama. Thanks for letting them just LOVE!!
I really liked this story. Paxton was such a complex man and I loved him! Ivy was exactly what he needed. She was the calm to his storm. She was unfazed by his moodiness. Despite her best friend's advice Ivy took a chance on a love named Paxton.
Ms. LaVern draws you in and doesn't let you go! I recommend this book!! If you want a book that draws you into a world of love and magic this book is for you.
The glimpse of color and photos were a great surprise. Loved it and what a truely awesome story. These zodiac books are a breath of fresh air and a real treat.
I am excited to say that this was my first read of the Zodiac series, and my first physical book I have also purchased from this author. Having the physical book on hand to now add to my collection only made it that much more enjoyable. Tiana Laveen is by far one of my favorite authors and I devour anything she puts out and gladly go back for seconds. Her words speak to my soul as her books fuel my addiction to reading to no ends.
Pisces played to your imagination, senses, and overall desires. The MC Pax came across as a lone wolf who was very private in his life and his home. He lived his life how he saw fit, and tended to do things to an excess or with an addictive nature. More rumors took place than solid facts until opened up for Ivy's story. Ivy revealed a man who worked hard, loved his fans, believed i honesty, was eerily perceptive of people, and who's mind and body rarely slowed down. Pax and Ivy's relationship was electrifying, passionate, and all consuming. What began as a journalist showing the true man behind the illusion, and the illusionist showing the world and the woman who has captivated him the depths of his soul becomes a love that compares to no other. The connection they had was felt through the pages and steam was a whole other world in itself. I loved every step of the way to the end and I was truly emotionally invested with the book and its characters.
This is the 3rd book in the 12 Signs of Love series.
This story is about Ivy, an up and coming reporter, and Paxton, an international illusionist. Ivy has to interview Pax for her job. This is an “insta love” story, however, Ivy has done her research on Paxton and later realizes that she feel in love with him before they even met. This story is different from the first 2 books where the H and h take their time to get to know their love interest and develop a relationship. Paxton was definitely hot and cold when it came to his emotions. I kind of wondered if he over analyzed or over reacted when it came to his relationship with his parents and brothers. To me, it seemed like his dad was rational and Paxton didn’t want to hear what he had to say. But I will say this, Paxton sure did read Ivy in the limo LOL. I liked the dialog between Paxton and Ivy. One thing I know about all of Ms. Laveen’s characters are that none of them play around when it comes to what they want. That is what draws me to her books.
