I really wanted to like the book much more since I know the author. It took me a little while to get into it and some of the violence was a little hard to take. Perhaps the target audience is more geared toward sci fi/fantasy?
I did like the way he changed fonts for each different character, that was new for me and I thought rather imaginative.
