Successful news anchor Elise returns to her hometown after running away from a love she couldn’t understand nor act upon twenty years ago. When she bumps into her old best friend Amy, the one she had to get away from, all that was left unspoken bubbles to the surface and they revisit the past in more ways than one.

Elise is in town for her father's birthday. She decided to visit a spa only to find out it is owned by Amy, her high school love interest and BFF.
This is a must read story! It is so incredibly sensual, sexy and well written. If I wasn't fighting for my own release (Yes, it brought me that close) I was near tears because of the beauty and emotion Ms Bliss instills. I am never disappointed with this author and she proved again why she is the best in the business.
I am a fairly new fan of Harper's but I must say that since I started reading her work I haven't looked back. Harper has such a great way of bringing out a character's inner monologue without it being too much "tell" and not enough "show". The way Eli responds to Amy throughout this story is both heart and gut wrenching because of its absolute truth. The way the fear, regret, and self-consciousness all flow through Eli's mind so effortlessly should at once be recognizable to anyone who has ever been a teenager with a crush. All the hurt and anguish mixed with the love and lust is totally reminiscent to the teenage years of which I, yes, still remember.
I also love that this story took an unlikely couple and truly made it feel believable. The history of two best friends of whom neither can fully understand or communicate the feelings they're having beyond their friendship, which ultimately affects both of their lives in different ways. I hope everyone in the history of ever gets an HEA like this one, and that if it does have to take as long to find it as it did Eli and Amy, it's as fulfilling and scrumptious as Harper Bliss can write it :)
Thank you Harper for providing a copy of this eARC in exchange for my honest review.
I devoured this novella. It was a sexy and delicious read. As always Harper Bliss does a fantastic job marketing. I got this book for free and now I’m super excited for her next novel.
Eli is a successful newscaster who has harbored a secret crush on her best friend from high school for over twenty years. She runs into this friend, Amy, who has become a professional masseuse. When Eli is scheduled for a massage and Amy is the masseuse, old feelings start to stir inside Eli. Amy steps outside the boundaries of proper manners for her profession and a torrid romance takes off from there.
Everything that makes a Harper Bliss story great is present in this book. Torrid sex, emotions that run deep and a romance that seems to be one sided only grows into a true and deep love for one another. There are more inner conflicts in this story than most I have read by Ms.Bliss and for a short time, I felt it distracted from the romance that was evident from the start. A little less worry about Amy's orientation and more about the true feelings she had for Eli is the only flaw I had with this story. The resolution of this made up for that and in the end, I closed the book feeling very happy for the two ladies. And in need of a cold drink or shower as well for all the heat. A solid four and a half stars for another great story by Ms. Bliss.
I wish to thank her for a copy of the book in exchange for an honest review.
Well known news anchor, Elise Frost, (Eli) fled from town as a teenager, leaving behind her best friend Amy Waters and her unrequited love for Amy. Twenty years later, Eli returns to her hometown for her father’s birthday party.
Eli runs into the now professional masseuse, Amy, at the local massage parlour. All the old feelings and emotions come crashing back for Eli when her and Amy revisit past times. This time though, Eli knows exactly what she wants. But how does Amy feel?
A well written, emotionally charged story of a teenage crush on a friend. All the pain and turmoil, lust and love, Eli suffered as a young lesbian, radiates in waves from the pages. Her despair at her feelings for Amy and her flight from her home to escape them, leaves Eli bereft and unable to love again with such depth.
This story is told in the past using flashbacks and in the present. It’s easy to read and follow. The one thing I love about Harper Bliss’s books is, they are hot and basically heavy on the erotica and there is always a heartfelt story throughout.
A completely satisfying hot short read. Not to be missed.

Well Harper has done it again! I made the mistake of starting this story at bed time and I was unable to stop reading until I reached “The End”. As always with Harper's stories I didn't want it to end. I loved “I Still Remember” it was a touching and romantic story with just the right amount of eroticism. I love Harper’s writing style and just can’t get enough. Thanks again Harper!
How I love the author's books!! This one is a short erotic story but it felt so special. I guess everyone had or has a crush on somebody and I bet once or twice dreamt about finding herself in a circumstance Eli ends up... :)
update 23/03/2018 still 5 stars. finished it in 30 minutes, completely forgot what I had to do before I started to read.
My favourite kind of eroticism - yeah, I admit - it's the sweet kind. The one that makes your heart pulse a little faster and seems to force the awwwwws out of your throat so easily. That's I Still Remember from beginning to end. Very sweet, happy read with lots of erotic moments.
This is the first book that I have read in this genre and by Harper Bliss, and I loved it!! I can not wait to start more of her books. She has definitely made a new fan here. I loved her writing style and I loved the characters. Way to kill it Harper.
A national tv anchor returns to celebrate her fathers birthday. Her unknowingly schedules a massage at her best friends business. An out of this world massage will lead to much more. Great story.
This book made me happy sigh. It was incredibly sweet, but still very hot. I liked that it's about having a necessary conversation, even if it's 20 years later than it should be.
I Still Remember is a steamy novella in which Eli has a chance encounter with her teen best friend, Amy, whom she hasn't seen in 20 years. Eli spent many special friendship times with Amy, ever hiding the feelings she was having for her. As college quickly approached, Eli had wanted to express her true feelings but feared losing Amy if she did so.
Harper does an amazing job of Eli telling the present-day encounter and all that is swirling inside her head juxtaposed with flashbacks of her past thoughts and feelings. I found this to be a great technique for relaying the story and building momentum in the story.
This is classic Harper Bliss and you won't be disappointed--other than the story ending too soon!
Such a beautiful memory brought to life in “I Still Remember”. How many times have we wished we had acted on our feelings when we were young but just weren’t brave enough to do so. I know I do. Harper has done an excellent job once again portraying the love between two women!
A erotic book has to be just hugely erotic (no story) or has to have a build up for me find it hot. So this wasn’t it. But after reading a couple of books by Harper, i think she is not it for me. 2,5 stars.
Our first love is unforgettable especially if it was one of our best friends in our youth. This is a short story very well written. I have more Harper Bliss books to read, but this one was the first one and was truly intense and memorable.
A very hot and sexy novella by Harper Bliss. What more could one need? I Still Remember is a return to hometown/second chance romance and it ticks a lot of the right boxes in regards to what makes a great story.
I wish it is a full novel. I like this story very much. Being a teenager is never easy and discovering urself takes time. Navigating feelings when we are young is very hard. I always enjoy happy endings and this novella put a smile on my face.
Ok you all Know I love Harper. This book is gorgeous. It flowed well and the story is original. For once I'd say the story was the right length. I felt that the story was finished and didn't need more. The perfect warm and sweet story to help make you warm and fuzzy one night.
Anything by Harper bliss peaks my interest. It is great to read books that you can relate too in quite a few ways instead of having to try to relate to them making them harder to read.
