Fairy tales always have a Prince Charming and a bad guy. In real life, Prince Charming is the bad guy and his favorite happy ending is the big O.
I'm Prince Dare but you can call me Prince Charming. Cinderella never wanted the prince--she wanted a night out, a banging dress, and some midnight fun. I deliver that. I make being bad look way more fun than being good, and no one leaves my royal bed without a happy ending.
When my uncle, the reigning king of Vale, orders me to marry and offers to make me the heir to the throne, I'm thrown for a loop. I'm the spare, the extra, the free gift with purchase. I can't be the hero and I won't be the villain who knocks his brother off the throne, so I've come up with an evil plan of my own...
I'll marry someone completely unsuitable to take myself out of the running. The only problem? My suitably unroyal bride is far too tempting to resist--Edee is funny, sweet, and sexy. And best of all, she's American. It's a great plan. Everything's working out just fine until reality starts to intrude on my fantasy and for the first time ever, I wish fairy tales did come true.

I received this copy of Royally Hung from Berkley Publishing Group - InterMix. This is my honest and voluntary review. Royally Hung is set for publication May 22, 2018.
Since I am obsessed with royals (hello, THE ROYAL WEDDING WAS EVERYTHING!!!!), I was really excited to get my hands on a romance with a prince! However, I am sad that this book just did not work for me even though I wanted to love it.
The dialogue of this book felt odd to me. Each character seemed to just try and pump out one-liners, which lead to the dialogue feelings shallow and unnatural. I appreciated the humor in some of those lines, but they still came off as awkward. Also, the "4th wall" was constantly broken in this book, which always threw me for a loop. I haven't read a book that has done that before, so it was a little jarring and hard to get used to.
The main female character was a witty and fun character! She was my favorite thing about this book! Sadly, I was disappointed with the main male character. He was quite the womanizer and charmer, which I was okay with at first. However, as the book went on, he just continued to seem like a self-absorbed jerk. He did have growth by the end of the book, but I still wasn't his biggest fan.
If you are a fan of romance stories involving royals, then you might want to check this book out! However, this was a book that did not work for me.

There is only one way to start this review … with laughter. There is no way that I could write a serious review of Royally Hung because I laughed and smiled throughout the story. And, it started at page 1. Dare stole my heart at the beginning and didn't let go. I love a man who loves a good time and there is not a royal out there that could top Dare. Well, maybe one but, as of the time that this review posts, he's taken.
Prince Darejan, the royal spare, the last one anyone would want to rule the country, the man whore, the partier, the man least likely to get married. Well, until he is ordered to. So, if King Queenie is going to tie him down, he's going out with a bang. What better way than throwing his own bachelor party in Vegas baby. After losing his parents in a horrific accident while being chased by paparazzi, he hates photographers but wants his final bash to be immortalized. He/she will have to sign their life away promising not to leak the pictures, sign an NDA and just fade into the background. There is no way that he was expecting what he got. Yea, the royal jewels stood at attention and the plan to end this marriage farce took hold. Now, to get her to agree.
Edee does not trust any man to be loyal, faithful or devoted to her. She's had her share of cheating, lying men and she's through with them all. She's happy being a wedding photographer … of dogs. But, how does she pass up the opportunity to photograph royalty? Still paying off loans, not supported by anyone since being thrown out of her house by her step-mom and sisters, she'll take whatever job she can get. Then she sees the Prince. Her mouth opens, her panties drop and she'll sign anything that he wants her too as long as she could look at him. Then, he proposes the most outlandish, hysterical thing and, with the amount of money he offers her, how could she say no? Eh, she'll help out the future King of Vale, what does she have to lose? Maybe, her heart?
So, Anne Marsh, did you or do you have a little obsession with a certain ginger-haired prince? Just asking. But, thank you for not making Edee like a certain new Duchess, they are so totally different. She was definitely a piece of work and I adored her throughout the story. Talk about total opposites attracting! These two were the ultimate. I loved the Cinderella moments and couldn't help but love everything about Dare, especially when he found out exactly what was going on with his brother. Yes, she threw in a serious part or two but most of this story was just plain fun and games. I loved how she brought things to a close and can't wait to see what she does with Nik and Luca.
Royally Hung was just a fun and entertaining book to read. It had it's laugh-out-loud moments, it's serious moments and two people who were never meant to be together but fit.
4 stars! I loved this book! It had me laughing throughout the entire story! I know everyone seems to be doing "prince " stories lately, but this one is my favorite so far!! Prince Dare has been giving an ultimatum by his Uncle. Prince Dare MUST get married for his country's sake. Dare does NOT take this well Since he doesn't want to get married or become King ( that is his brother's job), he heads off to Las Vegas where he meets Edee. She is the the opposite of princess material. She is a realist and doesn't like the spotlight or anything that comes with being a Royal. She is a pet photographer and likes her low key life. The only things she doesn't like is her step mother and sisters who treat her like she is only around for chores (see the cute princess undertones here!?).
Dare is hot and dirty. I loved every second of him. I like how he told the story. I liked everything about this book!
Royally Hung by Anne Marsh Forget the tale we think we know. Royally Hung is a new kind of fantasy. The charming prince is a royal jerk with a chip on his shoulder and an appetite for the naughty side of life. Dare is no walking dream, but he does have a few surprisingly sweet attributes. He's easy on the eyes and knows how to lay on the charm to get what he wants. Edee is not his type. She always puts her best foot forward, but seems to consistently be left twisting in the wind. Neither believe in happily ever afters. He has a role to play and she has a life to live. Can the realistic photographer, help the dirty prince learn what it means to be a man? Marsh seduces with a hint of Cinderella fantasy doused with tons of wicked fun and an abundance of emotion. A hot take on a lovable tale.Copyright of Night Owl Reviews
I read this book in honor of the impending royal nuptials of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry and let's just say, I hope they have us much fun as Dare and Edee. Royally Hung really jumps straight to the punchline of a royal wedding of convenience which wasn't to its favor. It would have done the story a favor if there had been more of a lead-up. But the main characters's chemistry and the general fairy tale of marrying a ridiculously rich playboy prince still made it a fun read. I'll definitely read the rest of the series.
This is a sweet, fun, sexy story that begins with a Vegas Elvis wedding and ends with a real prince and princess in a fountain declaring their love for each other. There are lots of things to be overcome for Prince Dare to claim his American princess Edee, but when he does it’s definitely an HEA.
Dare has a great usage of words, “welcome to royal politics. It’s dirtier than an orgy at the Playboy mansion.” Edee often times says things she doesn't mean, “and you need a shirt,” I blurt out. Da*n it. Why did I say that? I like looking at him." Dare doesn't have to be told twice on things, “Why don’t you show me what you have in mind, big guy?” I step into the shower. Dare’s a smart man. He drags his gaze up from my naked, getting-wet b**bs, drops his own towel..." Dare has no problem wasting money on gas when his woman is starting to get down and dirty, “keep driving,” Dare growls. “Don’t stop until I tell you to stop.” He slams the window shut without waiting for an answer." I liked this book, I just loved how Dare was so playful.
I wanted to love this book, but there were a couple things holding me back. I enjoyed Edee - she was interesting and funny, but I found Dare to be just too much. I understand the whole playboy to devoted lover trope, but his level of self-centeredness was offputting. More importantly, the overabundance of metaphors, similes, and comparisons, in general, was distracting: "my sexy black crow," "she's the drabbest of peahens where I'm the showiest of peacocks with the biggest of...tail feathers." It felt like every paragraph had at least one of these. I was often times confused by the dialogue - every character seemed to be speaking in one-liners rather than having an actual conversation. This made it hard to keep up with what was happening. Parts of the book were very confusing due to this. That being said, I think the plot, in general, was interesting - as a reader I was invested in seeing how we would get to the scene that the book opened with. I was also intrigued by Nik's storyline as well as Luca's. I'm assuming if this becomes a series they'll become focal points. But there are thousands of prince-focused romance book out there, and because of the writing flaws, Royally Hung doesn't really stand out. It's a fun read, but I don't necessarily know if I'd recommend it.
Royally Hung is a laugh out loud Romance! I mean really laugh out loud! From the first page my interest was peaked, and from the first scene I was hooked! How could you not be when the girl isn’t losing a shoe at the ball but chucking her Louboutin at the Prince! The first thing that captured my attention was the point of view. The Fourth wall was broken immediately, or as I like to call it ‘The Ferris Bueller POV’. I thought the author did a great job with this and it really added to the story. And, oh what a story! We have a womanizing Prince who’s been ordered to Marry, so marry he does. Only instead of a born to be Princess, he find Edee. Edee is everything a Princess isn’t, but she’s everything a certain Prince seems to want and need. I thought this was a great read, I found it witty and comical with just the right amount of romance mixed in. It was unlike anything I’ve read in quite awhile! Highly highly recommend!
This book needs to be on your kindle or in your hands.
It is a hoot! It's predictable in nature but oh so naughty! The Prince rebels and marries an American bride of convenience. A contract marriage. And we all know what happens in those...
This playboy Prince had the naughty mind and mouth to back up his reputation. It's filthy fun and a sweet story in one! Plus he has two brothers- think bonus hotties! (Or more books!)

The premise of this sounded really good. I like Cinderella retellings and Royal Romances. Sadly, the author's writing voice didn't work for me at all. I got impatient trying to read through the hero's part and ended up DNFing it about halfway through.
I honestly could not get past the second chapter in this book. I hated "Prince Charming" so much in just one chapter that it completely killed any and all chances of me being able to read this book.
This book was funny, sweet, romantic and sexy. You get comfortable immediately with Dare and Edee but their relationship is is a mess. Prince Dare ran away from his kingdom because the king told him he has to marry so when he gets to Vegas he marries his photographer. Edee was just supposed to take pictures of the prince and be on her way but straight out of a fairytale they get married. Each has something to gain in the make believe relationship but they don’t realize what they could lose. Reviewed on behalf of Once upon an Alpha
