TURN MY WORLD AROUND (Book 6)

Audible: Not only is this a great deal (3 books for 1 credit) - these are some of my favorites of the series.

Just for This Moment: This is hands-down my favorite Wishful so far. Perhaps even my favorite Kait Nolan. I admit that I’m somewhat leery of fake relationship/marriage tropes – because sometimes by the end I still don’t understand how the forced pair are together. The great thing about Just for This Moment is that Myles & Piper were already halfway there. The tension comes from trying to keep secrets from family and friends and wondering whether they ruined their chances with the ruse. Planning a wedding last minute brings its own hilarious, aggravating, and romantic scenes. Another one of my favorite things about Nolan’s writing is that while she often includes “the big misunderstanding” – she doesn’t painfully (for the reader) drag it out. I cried right along with Piper but was quickly comforted when Myles worked to set things right. There’s another big surprise, but I won’t ruin it – or it wouldn’t be a surprise.

Wish I Might: Cute second-chance romance. I liked book-store-owner Reed matched with heiress-in-hiding Cicely. While this did hold some similarities to book 1, the unique character backgrounds gave this story a distinct feel. The comic book references and Cicely's aunt were fun additions.

Turn My World Around: I was a little worried that because I've been looking forward to Tucker & Corrine's story for so long that Kait Nolan might not have been able to live up to my expectations. I should know better! I loved this story. Former mean girl Corrine catches the attention of town sweetheart Tucker. We learn that Tucker has actually had his eye on this single mom for quite some time. Norah has more ideas and this time Wishful has a dance contest. More townsfolk scheme landing Tucker & Corrine as partners. Toss in Corinne's adorable son and I was totally hooked. While absolutely a sexy romance, this is also a lovely story of repentance and redemption. There's a fabulous HEA, for Corinne as an individual and for her relationship with Tucker.

Amy McFadden continues giving an expanding townsfolk their own unique voices, while keeping old favorites consistent from previous books. I continue to be thrilled with this writer/narrator team.

Kait Nolan writes wonderful, sweet romances and the three stories in this collection are all 5-Star reads. Each story follows a delightful couple that I cared about along with a varied cast of unique, quirky characters that make small-town life interesting. I would love to live in a town like Wishful. It is filled with good people who are there for each other in good times and bad. I recommend reading the entire Wishful Romance Series.

Just For This Moment
I get some serious Pitch Perfect vibes out of this with the amazing list of musical references, the girl-power solidarity, and the underdog who gets his girl. I’ve come at this book from both ends of the series; I’ve read the books before this and I’ve read most of the books after this, so it was about time I filled in this missing chapter in my Wishful education. I can’t say I can understand where Piper and Myles are coming from, fighting to be seen as their uniquely black sheep selves. I’m more like Leah in the ‘fighting back comments to remain liked’ outlook. However, I loved watching this pair learn how to love one another. They made me laugh, the made me cry, they made me want to shake some sense into them, and they made me love.
Wish I Might
Like everything else in Wishful, it's sweet, funny, and a little crazy-making. The chemistry between Reed and Cecily is undeniable, you can feel it radiating from the page. Reed is such a sweetheart. It's a shame that his genuine niceness gets him into so much trouble. Cecily has so much trouble trusting her herself and her judgment about partners, I'm almost surprised that these two make it together. But I'm so glad they do. They're perfect for each other.
Turn My World Around
I have loved Tucker since the first time he strutted onto the page in Wishful. And after she was instrumental in healing the rift between Tyler and Brody, I knew there had to be more to Corinne than we had so far seen. There are parts of this book that don’t make for easy reading, in the same way that the nightly news isn’t always the easiest viewing. The people who are supposed to love us the most are also the ones with the greatest ability to hurt us. Sometimes they take advantage of that situation and we’re left to pick up the pieces in the aftermath. This is where we find Tucker and Corinne, healing from wounds inflicted by people who were supposed to love them. I thought this was a beautiful story of love, life, redemption, and recovery.
I received a complimentary advanced copy of this book.

Wishful Romance Volume 2
Just For This Moment
I just love this Wishful series. I have to confess that I have not read them in order, but that has not been a problem. Myles Stewart fell for Piper Parish in a previous book when they were in the play White Christmas together. Piper had a rule that she wouldn’t date someone she was in a play with for 90 days after the end of the play. She figured if she was still crazy about the guy, and he waited on her, then they had a chance for a relationship. Ninety days are up and Myles asks Piper out. Miles bought the local paper against his father’s wishes. Miles had an investor to help with the money and now the investor wants out and his money in 90 days. The only way he can get the money is to marry and get money from his trust fund. Miles tells Piper about this one night and she suggests the two of them get married so he can get the money. The craziness begins, but it is always crazy fun around Piper!

I so enjoyed this book. Piper’s nephew Preston was a sweetheart and funny. Both Piper and Miles had quirky families that caused trouble. I strongly encourage you to read the book.

Wish I Might
If you read “To Get To Me” you would have met Norah Burke who Cecily Dixon worked for in Chicago. She came to Wishful when Norah moved down. Cecily works hourly for Norah until she can find the job she wants. She had an ex use her and steal money from a foundation she set up (her family has money and she has a trust fund). Cecily was heartbroken, embarrassed, mad, and felt like she let her family down. She doesn’t let people she meets know she is from a rich family. She met Reed Campbell who owns a bookstore and was born and bred in Mississippi. They were getting along well until he unknowingly puts his foot in his mouth when he talks down about rich people. Only because he had an ex fiancé that was only after money. Cecily begins to ignore Reed. Of course Reed has no idea what he did.

It was funny how Cecily tried to keep her secret about coming from a rich family from everyone. It was so clear that Reed was not the kind of person who would be after Cecily only for her money. Unfortunately Cecily beat herself up so much and lost confidence in her choice of men. Cecily was a good, hard worker and the people of town loved her. Reed and Cecily had some ups and downs that they had to get through. I enjoyed the book and suggest you should read it. I was given this set to read, and voluntarily read it and reviewed.

Turn My World Around
I loved this story! Corinne Dawson was the queen of mean girls when she was in high school. Needless to say that there were not many good memories of her by the people she went to school with. She is back in Wishful with her five year old son after a divorce. She is a changed person, but not many people want to give her a chance. She is working at the diner, going to nursing school, and working at the hospital that is required before her degree. Tucker McGee was one of the only persons who saw a different side of Corinne in high school. He had a crush on her in high school that no one knew about. He is a lawyer in town and has a broken marriage in his past that not many people know about. Norah is putting on a fund raiser for the Abused Women’s Center in Wishful. This is Dancing With Wishful and has couples from some of the businesses. Momma Pearl at the Diner is approached by Tucker to participate and be his partner. She agrees, but something happens and Corinne has to take her place.

It is so hard in a small town to prove you have changed. I felt so bad for Corinne when I found out why she was a mean girl in school and what happened in her marriage. No one should ever have to go through what she did. You can’t help but love Tucker on how patient he is and how he builds people up, especially Corinne. I felt bad that Corinne didn’t think she was good enough for Tucker. This was a great book that touched on a couple of hard issues. I strongly encourage you to read this set. I was given this set and voluntarily read it and wrote a review.

This collection contains books four, five, and six of the Wishful series. All of them were well written and sweet romance novels with good character development set in a lovely Southern small town. There is some sex, but it's more natural and less over-the-top.

In book four, Just For This Moment, I really enjoyed seeing the rest of Piper and Myles' story. I think it had the most unexpected twists in the plot than any of the other books in the series, and I enjoyed it a lot. 4 stars.

Then, for book five, in Wish I Might, we swing back the focus to the Campbell family and watch Reed fall hard for Cecily. Their geekiness was fun, and their characters just went together so well. There was a lot of focus in this story about being deeply seen and known for who we are. I'd actually give this one more than 4 stars if I didn't feel like I was jumping into their story in the middle. I wanted to know more about that weekend at the lake where they made such a good connection until a foot-in-mouth situation made Cecily try to not fall for Reed. I just loved their relationship. 4 stars.

I have to say though that the strongest novel in the collection was Turn My World Around, number six. Tucker and Corrine's story was both powerful and sweet. There was a focus on the importance of a healthy self-esteem in keeping a good relationship going. I think it's my favorite of the series so far. 5 stars.

P.S. While I'm trying to read this series (and its spin off set in the same town when I get to that point) in the chronological order that was listed on the author's website, it's a little less straightforward than it appears even on the timetable she provided. For example, the events of the fifth book overlap the events of the third, but the events of the fourth and the sixth take place afterwards.

JUST FOR THIS MOMENT (Book 4)
I just love being back in Wishful! I started this series further along and it’s just great to go back and read the stories about the wonderful characters I have already meet in the later books. This one is a modern day marriage of convenience that you will just fall in love with as we catch up with Myles and Piper from “Be Careful, It's My Heart”. These books can be read as stand-alone or as the series from book one, if you read just one you will want to read them all as Kait Nolan makes you feel like you live in this quaint little town called Wishful. Some of the books are very sweet and some have a little bit of spice to them but all full you with joy as you read.
This series gets better and better with every book I read.

WISH I MIGHT (Book 5)
We finally get to read Cecily Dixon’s story, she followed Norah Burke to town in book one “To Get Me To You” and decided to stay for now. These books can be read as stand-alone or as the series from book one, if you read just one you will want to read them all as Kait Nolan makes you feel like you live in this quaint little town called Wishful. Some of the books are very sweet and some have a little bit of spice to them but all full you with joy as you read. I received an ARC copy of this book and this is my voluntary and honest review of it. If you have not read a Kait Nolan give this one a try you will not be sorry. This was a nice feel-good romance that makes your heart swell for the characters. I just love the feel I get from this book cover.

TURN MY WORLD AROUND (Book 6)
Struggling single mom Corinne Dawson doesn't have time for fun. She's too busy making a new life for her son and trying to avoid being dragged down by the ghost of who she used to be. But when an accident knocks her boss out of a local dance competition fundraiser, she finds herself face-to-face with the worst mistake from her past.

Attorney Tucker McGee has always seen past the prickly exterior of this former mean girl. He knows there's more to the story than simple spite. When they get partnered for Dancing With Wishful, he finally gets the chance to act on the spark he's felt since she moved home. But getting past her regrets just might be the biggest challenge he's ever faced.

As the competition heats up, so do the feelings between them. Will Tucker be able to convince Corinne that she's more than the sum of her mistakes? Or will she be forced to leave town to find a new beginning without him?

rcvd an advanced reader copy from the author for giving my two cents. I love Kaits work! I previously read books 4 and 5 with 6 being a new read. in book 4, we meet Piper and Myles who starred together in an Xmas production where they fell for one another. Myles runs the local paper and is in need to pay back his investor. piper is upset that he's put the brakes on them until the debt is settled but when he jokes they should get married to get his trust fund. piper jumps at the chance but can she handle a loveless marriage and will Myles tell her his true feelings?
in book 5, we meet graphic artist Cecily who works for Norah in Wishful. she comes from wealth but is trying to make a life of her own without the confines of her family name. we meet bookstore owner Reed who loves his store but needs help sprucing it up and Cecily volunteers for the job. the only problem is Cecily is leaving town as soon as her intern is over. sparks fly but is it good enough for Reed to convince her to stay?
book 6 we meet divorced, single mother Corinne, who was the mean girl in high school. she made mistakes back then and is trying to make a life for her and her son. working fulltime at the diner and going to nursing school keeps corinne busy thus no time for love. we meet lawyer Tucker who happens to be a great dance biding his time to ask Corinne out. he has always had a thing for her. when Norah decides to boost the local womens shelter with a dancing with wishful competition, she gets Tucker to jump in feet first. his job is to convince Mama Pearl to dance and she agrees bc its good for business. however fate intervenes and Mama Pearl makes Corinne be her replacement and has time off paid to rehearse. corinne doesnt know what to think. she finds Tucker attractive and way to good for her. Tucker eases her into the dancing and hopefully her heart. Corinnes resolve is breaking down but her past comes back to haunt her. the competition is going well but what will happen when it ends? can corinne give her heart away when she knows she's caused pain to others? will Tucker be patient with her?

I have been provided with a copy of Wishful Romance Volume 2 by the author for an impartial review. This boxset includes Just For This Moment, Wish I Might, and Turn My World Around.

Just For This Moment

This novel is a part of the Wishful Romance series and it was great to read another book in this series. In this book we get to see more of Piper and Myles who we have previously met in earlier books in the series. This book was just hilarious and had me laughing so much. I absolutely fell in love with these characters and I was sad to see it end. I can’t wait to read more of this author’s books.

Wish I Might

Wish I Might is first published in the Virtually Yours Anthology. The author originally wasn’t completely satisfied with what she had in this story so when she got the story back she expanded on it and this is the results of that. I hadn’t read it yet in the Virtual Yours but I have it and I compared it between the two and it just looks like there are a few more chapters added to the one being re-released so if you have read this book previously you need to purchase this one to get the full effect. I really loved this book it was a really easy read and just by adding a few chapters it can complete the story in a way that you wouldn’t have expected. This book just had me laughing at moments it was so goofy with the situations that people can get into. The author has done it again. She has brought another beautiful story to an audience that highly appreciates it.

Turn My World Around

This is another wonderful book in the Wishful Romance series. This book just had my emotions all over the place. In this beautiful story you get to learn more about Corinne Dawson who we have previously met in an earlier Wishful Romance book and finally see why she is the way she is. I loved getting to see Corinne and Tucker together and I thoroughly enjoyed seeing their journey throughout this story. I can’t wait to read more by this author.

Book 4 - Piper and Myles have now reached the end of her "no dating" period. Love how he contacts her immediately. They barely get started dating again and they end up in a marriage of convenience. When their feeling become real real fast will this turn into a real marriage? or is it already one? A misunderstanding occurs and well I wanted Piper to LISTEN!!! We do get a HEA and a bonus at the end. Great series!!!

Book 5 - Wish I Might - Love this book!!! The author is one of my favorites. Cecily and Reed had a date a few months ago but something went wrong. They both still like each other but Cecily will be leaving as soon as she gets a permanent job. Will they take a "second" chance on love? We get to some old characters as well as some new ones. The is not only a love story but about love from our family and how sometimes people don't see us like we see ourselves or even how we think they see us. Would love to visit Wishful, wish it was real.

Book 6 - Turn My World Around - I absolutely loved this book. I can't stand bullies and often find it hard to forgive them even if it's been years ago but. Kati Nolan did a great job of making me see how Corinne was so sorry for her past actions and felt she didn't deserve to have a happy life because of them. Tucker was such a great guy. I mean the best book boyfriend ever. Most the time book boyfriends seems to be so unrealistic and too good to be true but Ticket was so sweet and actually believable. Loved how he didn't push Corinne but also didn't let her run away at least not for long. Such growth in these two as well as Tucker's friends. Highly recommend. I'm looking forward to reading Know Me Well. Yes I read books out of order😜

Talk about small town America! Kait Nolan has a grasp on the personalities and the way small towns work. Since moving to my own "Wishful" I have become more enamored with Wishful and the romances that go on there.

All three of these books are amazing. I love Myles and Piper. Myles waits Piper's self-imposed time before asking her on a date because he is truly hung up on Piper. Then, all kinds of things go wrong in life. Watching the two of them pull through the trials of life is amazing.

I almost always root for the transplant to Wishful. I was cheering Cecily on as she tried to get herself a job that would be rewarding without exposing her very rich background. At first she was sure she couldn't end up with Reed because of a comment he had made. Then, Reed realizes how his comment about rich women sounded to Cecily.

And the final book with Corinne and Tucker as the focus. Just wow!

Pick up your own copy and go back to small town America and romance.

I received an advanced copy of this book but the opinions are 100% my own.

Kait Nolan’s book and the wonderful characters based in Wishful are some of my favorite romance stories. This second Wishful volume brings you books 4-6, where we meet Myles with his need to marry to gain access to his trust fund, Cecily who is helping Reed turn around his struggling bookstore and Corinne reformed ‘mean girl’ that the town can’t seem to forgive.

You get updates also on some of the lead characters from previous books, so whilst these can be read stand-alone, I would recommend reading books 1-3 first (there is a handy Wishful Romance Volume One to provide these in one handy place)... I assure you, you will be hooked on Wishful and Kait Nolan!!

The characters that live in Wishful are some of my favorites. This collection of books brings us full stories of some of the characters we have met in other stories. It also brings you up to date on the lead characters of earlier stories. I feel like I know them when I read these stories. I won't go into detail on each of the stories, but I have to say out of all of them I love Tucker and Corinne the most (so far). These are fast reads, so I feel a little sad when they are done. But I do look forward to visiting Wishful again in the future! I received an advanced copy in return for an honest review.

Love Kait Nolan's books! Kait Nolan writes about a wonderful town of Wishful, Mississippi with a cast of characters that are interwoven in the series. It's a town that you would want to live in. Wishful Romance Volume 2 series is a must read. Just For this Moment, Wish I Might and Turn My World Around are the books in Volume 2 and are sweet, fun to read with just the right amount of heat. Love all the small town situations and conflicts that are throughout the series of books. I thoroughly enjoyed reading this series and highly recommend reading any book by Kait Nolan. Love, love, love. I have really been enjoying the Wishful series. It's so fun to get to know characters that were introduced in previous books as smaller side characters, and that are now experiencing their own love story. Each of the three books in this collection tells a very different tale with the same small town back drop. I think there is a nice variety from book to book in the characters and the way they find love. This is a great series and a great box set!

Kait Nolan is a great author and I thoroughly enjoy how she has written all of these wonderful books around a town called, Wishful, Mississippi. I love being able to read about different characters that I have read in her other stories. Very good.

I'm a big fan of Kait Nolan's Wishful series. Her plots and characters are fun, interesting, and have sweet heat. They make me remember what living in a small town was like. I like a series that doesn't have to be read in order, but this one is more fun when you get to know the back stories of her characters first. Her books always have plot twists that make me wonder what I would do in that situation. They make me laugh, they make me cry, they make me think, all the makings of great books. If you haven't tried one of her Wishful books and love a sweet, small town romance, then one click one right away!

I was given an ARC by the author. I have voluntarily reviewed it. All conclusions are my own.
