Centauri Prime was an epic failure, especially for a battle they supposedly won.

Melborn, the human-colonized planet of the inner system wanted a combat unit that could win and win quickly. Terror Command was born, TerroCom and they needed a place to train. A frontier world. One Sheriff. And all the action one spaceport can't hold.

When the Company Man’s father, the Sagittarian Conglomerate Chairman of the Board gets involved, nothing goes as planned for anyone other than him.

Fans of Firefly, Bonanza, and Tombstone will love this space opera / western and all the characters that make the story great. Join us on the latest journey through Darklanding.

“there are people out there who don’t understand what a valuable gift they have--the chance to live a good life. It’s up to us to show them.”

The Company Man’s father’s appearance brings a completely different picture than expected till now! It is getting complicated for our favourite sheriff and the people of Darklanding. I’m totally immersed in this series! The writing, in depth and character building is complete and realistic. Action packed, emotive, thought provoking and fun with a witty, humorous and sarcastic dialogue.

Really enjoying this series!

Who would have thought an outer space ol'time western would be so good? I find myself looking forward to the next episode, they each keep getting better than the last as the characters are more enriched and grow with each one. I loved meeting and seeing more of the Company Man's father. Not to mention how Mast's sense of humor keeps growing as he gets more accustomed to humans and their ways. The military inclusion and the value of the inner workings of Sagcon enriched the story. Looking forward to the next episode, I'm sure it will be even better. Until then, this was my favorite episode.

This is a look at how power works behind the scenes, and just how much control that power, and riches, can have over the lives of everyone - and just how expendable those who join the military can be seen to those who look at lives as pawns in a chess game!

This was a really interesting story and, although the power plays didn't surprise me any, I was shocked at just how expendable life is looked at, for soldiers, by those in power.

Maybe, one day, this will change, though I won't hold my breath!

I enjoy this series although I do not think it’s fair to call them a book. I finish reading them in a couple of hours. I like a book that takes me a while to read through to the finish. Put three to four of these together and that would be a most excellent book. I’m sure it’s all about how many words are written but I would only call these novellas although I don’t iuppose a short story. Once again, good book, but way too short.

The Sheriff Strikes Again

I really like this serialized story. Complete within themselves , it's like watching Gunsmoke set on an alien planet with the aliens as Indians. I love the dichotomy that Sheriff Fry represents: the hardened combat veteran suffering with PTSD and the lawman trying to fit into a frontier civilian world. The women are strong, the government and companies corrupt, and Fry has to make it all work. Please, keep writing! Maybe faster...

Episode six about the tales of a remote frontier world, Darklanding. This episode is slightly different, as part of it is off world set around the Company man's father and a new ground combat unit. Still a good episode, as the main characters continue to grow.
