Once again, Mia Ford and Bella Winter pull it off,,,,,

Logan Banker is a child help counselor and he works at a center helping the children he sees there,,,, He is single and isnt really looking for anything except maybe a quicky now and again,,,, tonight he is in a bar with just the bartender and they have been flirting most of the night,,,, he introduces himself as Liam, a lawyer, because he knows this is never going anywhere,,,, his day to day is counselling children, teenagers, whom have been placed here for a number of reasons,,, right now though, he is concentrating his interests on one 15, soon to be 16 year old girl,,,, Logan thinks maybe he can help because he is only 8 years her senior,,,, and surely he thinks she needs to feel safe and secure, and it's just this once,, nobody will know,,,, we just won't say anything to anybody, after all,, she isn't his patient anymore,,,, right,,,,???

Prudence Evans is an almost 16 year old who has been at the center where she lives now for 3 years,,, She often refers to herself as " the girl that no one wants" ,,, She has been at the center for 3 years, ever since her 13th birthday when her father beat her so bad that she ended up in the hospital,,, and before that, they were basically homeless, since she's been 8 and her mom died of cancer, after that, her father changed,,, no more of the gentle loving dad,,, then one day the yelling began, sokn, followed by the beatings on Pru,,, her father changed so much after her mother died,,, she doesn't really have friends here,,, but she loves her therapist, Mr Banker and now that she's turning 16, she is getting out of the center, getting a job and her own apartment,,,, and Mr Banker, or Logan, has told her that he can help out anyway she needs him too,,,, and she really hopes he means it,,, because she has had something on her mind for weeks, that he can help her with,,,,

Ok,,,, I've given you a short, brief outline on just a couple people you will meet in this story,,,, so, what say we just one click this !!! It is a really good book and it has some major changes in Pru's life, along with what is real and what is make believe, and she really hopes that this attention that Logan is paying her is real,,,, because, it really doesn't matter, cuz nobody can do anything about what goes on between her and Logan anyway ,,,,, right,,,???

Should She Trust Him?

Oh this is so sweet, romantic, passionate and oh such a wonderful story by Mia Ford and Bella Winters that is a must have read.  Prudence suffers abuse in childhood form her father so ends up in care. There she meets Logan who is so very much her real life hero and the man she grows to love in the romantic sense however much she realises that they cannot be together. But when it's time for her to leave they both struggle against their feelings.   I loved both these two characters as we were allowed to see them become friends, trusting one another to real seep feelings. Logan was so good and caring and he was a real example of how a real man fights his feelings because they were not appropriate under the circumstances and then their passions cannot be ignored and they fall into an intimate relationship with love. But he gets scared and breaks up with her to put distance between them and he goes and uses a 'f*ck buddy'!!!!!  Well that put me off him completely. It was so out of character for him with all that had be written about him before. If he was so in love with her why did he go straight to a 'f*ck buddy' - just didn't make sense to me as I would have thought his feelings would have prevented him from being with anyone else.  To carry on with the rest of the book I had to try and just blank that part out of the book - by trying to do that the rest of the book is perfect as, to me, him being with someone else when supposedly in love with Prudence was cheating.  Prudence is a well developed character and has suffered so much bad treatment of those who supposedly love her abusing or not loving her as she deserves.  Despite Logan's behavior [me ignoring that aspect of the book], I did love this story which is very unique and gives us so much insight to this caring young woman. Beautifully written by Mia Ford and Bella Winters and I strongly urge you to get your own copy as there is a special, unpublished story inside as a bonus. I received a reader's copy and voluntarily leave my honest review of it here.

Prudence came to the center because she had no where else to go after they removed her from her father's care. While at the center she had therapy to discuss what had happened and what she wanted from the future. As it approached time for her to leave the more anxious she got. Logan was the therapist at the center and had come to care for Prudence and wanted the best for her. He helped her look for a job and talk about apartment choices but continued to worry about her. Nothing ever happened between them at the center but Logan wanted her to be able to contact him if she needed help and he emailed back and forth with her before she left. When she heard what she thought she a bad fight at her neighbors apartment she ran and called for Logan even knowing he was risking his career he went to her. Slowly things between them progressed from being her confidante (therapist) to a friend to something more. Logan tried to keep things simple but his feelings got the better of him. When things started to look bleak Prudence planned to leave the state so she wouldn't cause him any problems. Can Logan live without Prudence in his life? Will Prudence move forward and leave her past behind?

This was a great story about a strong young woman that came through a hard life with some hope for the future. The chemistry between Logan and Prudence slowly builds into something serious. This was a well written story and has great characters. I would recommend this to any book lover.

*ARC proporcionado a cambio de una honesta review*
¿Qué decir? A mi, personalmente, me gustó.

I voluntarily read an arc of this book for a fair and honest review. There were so many things that should have turned me off about this book but because of the way the story was handled it was heartbreakingly good. Generally 18 female lead characters hold no interest to me. Now put our heroine 18 year old Prudence who is aging out of a center for abused youth and mix in an entanglement with the center’s male therapist and blend that into the romance, you really have to dance around “the ick factor”. Some people may read the synopsis and think the same thing I thought when I started reading this book, but Logan was written to be the perfect man for Prudence...age gap, the fact that he was her therapist, the fact that Prudence knew no other life than living at the center if all or even one of these factors was written less than perfect you’d have a questionable read. Mia Ford and Bella Winters handled these characters beautifully. These authors put my concerns about this triple threat of a storyline to rest. My only thoughts after reading this book is to rework the synopsis, if a potential reader is turned off by what they think they will be reading, and if they don’t read the reviews, they may give a pass to a really good book.

This is a romance between Pru a young girl just leaving the children’s home to start her adult life and Logan who has been her counsellor for the last few years, helping her to adjust to the death of her mother and the subsequent drunken violence from her father.

Logan is therefore a man that makes her feel safe and then she develops feeling for him. Logan has been fighting his feelings as he knows that her age (just turning 18) and his position as her counsellor make his feelings inappropriate.

Despite the timing and situation these two have developed true feelings of love and support for each other; can they keep those feelings and make a life together in the face of such adversity.

This is a good romance, if you can get past the age issues and that Logan is in a position of authority which makes the relationship more than taboo and closer to unethical. The romance is sweet and the characters have real love rather than just a lustful relationship, it is a nice story which is careful to skirt the boundaries of appropriateness, but this situation won’t be everyone’s cup of tea.

I got this book in another book by Mia and Bella. It’s a very good story about love growing between two people who were not supposed to fall in love. But love can be stronger.
Overview. Prudence aka Pru was brought to the children’s center to live at the age of 13 when her abusive father broke her nose. He went to jail and she had no one to go to. She was a shy girl trying to find a way in life. 2 weeks before her 18th Birthday she was given some goals to start a life outside the center by her counselor Mr Logan Banker. Logan has always had a connection to Pru. But at first it was only patient doc guidance. But when he helped her find a job and a place to live he seen her in a different light. Now she is all Logan can think about. But he could loose his job. Pru wants to be near Logan all the time since she feels safe with him. After her first night in her apartment alone, she freaks out and calls him. She starts staying with him and the bond grows more till a coworker from the center sees them and everything changes. Logan losses his job and the cops are called. Now life has thrown them some different life experiences and they need to decide what to do.

After reading this ARC I am leaving my voluntary review.

This story was not one I have come across before and was excited while reading it. A young girl (Prudence) has to overcome loss and adjust to life again and ismmon the way with the help of her therapist (Logan).

The developing relationship while Pru is experiencing life outside of the center is the main premise of the story that had me turning page after page to join them on their journey.

I did finish the book however at chapter 27 I lost all that excitement. Technically Pru and Logan weren't a couple but to read of him having a f*#k buddy after only being apart from her for two weeks made any declaration of him being in love with Pru unbelievable to me. And therefore the final chapters felt fake and forced as to what the readers would want to see happen.

This story had so much potential but for me, it fizzled. I model on likely am the minority in this opinion so I do suggest you read it and make your own opinion on the storyline.

This a taboo story done in a tastefully way about Logan and Prudence. Prudence is a young girl taken from her home due to physical abuse by her father and put in a home for abused kids and stays there until 18 years of age. Logan is her therapist at the group home for children and is 24 years old. Prudence lost her mom at a young age and her father could not deal with the lose and turned to drinking and physically abused her and put her in the hospital. Once Prudence turns 18 she will leave and live on her own and Logan has been working with her to be ready for this next move in her life. There is an attraction between them and both keep it to themselves knowing it’s not right. Logan ends up helping Prudence find an apartment and job to get her moving on and they end up becoming closer. They find they have true feelings for one another and unsure how to move forward. Will Prudence’s trails into life land her and Logan on a road of happiness or will the threat of losing his job have Logan walking away? I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Reader Copy of this book.

Logan is a therapist, he works at the children's center counseling children who have suffered abuse. He doesn't feel he has time for a relationship so he is content with just having flings. Prudence is one of the kids he counsels, she has always been quite and withdrawn but with Logan's help she has gained self confidence. Prudence has reached the age where she can no longer stay at the children's center, Logan has done his best to try and prepare her for living out in the real world. Prudence and Logan overtime have developed an attraction to one another but because of circumstances have never acted on that attraction. Now that Prudence is all grown up will they finally explore their attraction? This was a slow simmering romance. Both Logan and Prudence try to stay away from each other fearing what others would think. I really enjoyed this book and would highly recommend it. Pru and Logan meet in a children’s center. She’s one of the kids and he’s a counselor. Pru’s always been special—shy and quiet and introspective—and she pulls draws out all his protectiveness. With Logan’s help she gains self-confidence which is good because she’s about to be aged out of the center. Logan is doing everything he can to help prepare her for life out in the real world.
Pru has had a hard time of it with the loss of her mother and her father’s abuse and incarceration. Logan has really helped her to deal with it all and she doesn’t know how she’ll make it without him once she leaves the center. He’s been her one true constant and she has developed feelings for him.
What happens when Pru and Logan are no longer bound by the rules of the center and their mutual bond gets even stronger? Fireworks.

I received an ARC for my honest review. Honestly I liked this book I was completely into the story of Pru, a child abuse survivor and Logan a child center therapist. Nothing happened while she was a child and at the center but as an adult the rules change. I actually loved that. Where I lost my love for the book was when they separated for a short time and Logan went off and had a f*ck buddy. This was one of a few times he slept with someone else to "forget" Pru. This felt more than wrong to me. If he were truly falling in love with her no matter how hard he fought it, it would be distasteful for him to even think about sleeping with another woman. I really liked the Logan character until the last incidence when they had already been together. This took the book from a LOVE status to a LIKE one for me.

"Lust to Love" is a book with a slow burn. At first I wasn't sure that I liked this book. The lead characters Logan and Prudence seemed horribly awkward and reading their story made me feel uncomfortable. Despite my initial reaction, I forced myself to keep reading. I am so glad that I did! The story takes the reader on a journey which showcases both Logan and Prudence's evolution from awkward "worms" to beautiful "butterflies". Placing your trust in the right person and following your gut can lead to extraordinary, fabulous things in life. Logan and Pru took a chance on each other and a deep emotional love was formed. I'm glad that I took a chance on continuing to read this "coming of age" story.

Did I read the same book as other people?! This book was AWFUL!!

The H received blowjobs, had sex with and even went down on THREE different women in this book. I HATE HATE HATE when the H/h have ow/om in books. I can’t take the main characters relationship seriously at that point.

Pru and Logan were only broken up for a few weeks but he was already put banging chicks.

Plus the timeline was off for me. He was her counselor for 5 years and he is 24. Does that mean he graduated college at 19?

It was comical how the book kept referencing how “old” the H was and sounded. Also how much older he was than Pru. 5 years older is supposed to be crazy old or something? Come on.

Major spelling and grammar issues as well.

Overall, this book sucked.

At first the story moved very slowly and I wasn't sure I would finish it. I persevered and I'm truly happy I did. This is the story of Logan a therapist at the Children's Center and Prudence a victim of abuse being treated by Logan. Logan and Prudence have developed an attraction to one another but are reluctant to act on this attraction. As the story progresses the characters mature, grow emotionally and come together. “Lust to Love” is a wonderfully written story filled with drama, heartbreak, passion, violence, hurt and of course love. I definitely recommend this touching romance.

A sweet feeling read

You will just want to hug Prudence after reading this enjoyable story. Prudence will be leaving the only home she has known since she was removed from her dad’s care. She feels safe especially during her weekly meeting with Logan who she has feeling for. It’s forbidden and a no no but when she finds herself in need of help once she is outside her comfort zone she finds herself with Logan. You can feel their chemistry and when it can’t be denied they move forward in a relationship that may end hurting them. Read this to find out if they can find a HEA.

This new book by Mia Ford is about Prudence who is in a group home and Mr Banker who helps her in therapy to deal with how she become to live in the group home. I found this book really sad to start with my heart went out to Pru and all she had been through, this book is full of lust, sadness, self doubt and love. It’s a book about how we can pick ourselves up and make a life for ourselves even when life has been hard. I felt the book was slow to get into but once you do you end up turning each page to see what happens next.

This was such a beautiful book. The attraction between Logan and Prudence is undeniable and unavoidable no matter how hard they try. It might be unconventional, but who are we to judge true love. My heart breaks for the both of them when they try to stay away from each other because of what other people think and end up hurting. Prudence saves Logan just as much as he helped her heal during her time at the centre. This really was beautiful and I highly recommend it.

I was a little bit unconfortable at first when I seen that it was the story of a relation of a councellor and the person who come to see him for help for years as a minor, but on the other hand, they can fall in love too. They’re legal, that’s all it needed. The story considers all the different moral point of view, love. So, in the end, I liked the story because it takes in consideration the perception of the situation from the others, the consequencies from their choices.

I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book. This story starts off with the retelling of some dark issues Prudence went through while growing up and it was handled very well. Logan is the therapist helping Pru deal with what she has gone through and helps her to realize she can get past it and become stronger by it. Along the way the attraction between the two becomes stronger and the two can not deny the fact that they are falling for one another. This story kep me on the eadge of my seat and the chemistry between them was so steamy. I absolutely loved the HEA.

Wow. This story started of very slow and I was a bit disappointed. But suddenly it took me by surprise. It all fell into place. It became an amazing read with great storyline and plot. The romance is not instant but slow paced and suits the characters and how they develop. A story about letting the past go and get your HEA. To dare to let go and become the person you like to be and not listening and act to, what other people says and thinks.
Characters are likeable and well described. They have great chemistry and passion. There is love, heartbreak, hurt, violence and emotional ups and downs in this story.
I like it is written in dual POV, which gives the reader both the thoughts and feelings of the main characters. The twists makes you just want to read more.

The story caught me and I like it very much.

HONEST ARC REVIEW

This is my honest ARC review.

Logan is a loner good guy. Prudence is a just coming into her own. She sees Logan as a safe, loving man who is also her protector. Pru, as Logan calls her, needs the protecting due to her past history. He wants to be the one to protect her.

They run into challenges in both her inexperience and naivety. This is coupled with the fact that he was her therapist and significantly older than her.

Once they work out their problems, they are able to move on with each other. They set up a beautiful life with each other.

Logan and Prudence's love story is most unusual in that for years Logan was instrumental is the development of Prudence as he helped her in regular counseling sessions dealing with her alcoholic father's mistreatment of her while she lived in a home for abused children. But Prudence has become fixated on Logan and as her time for dismissal nears he can't seem to help but be attracted to her innocent beauty. A recipe for disaster as sure enough he is fired from his counseling position. What will become of these two? Turns into a really good read.

his is an amazing story of true love that is so well written and engaging I could not stop reading until the end - from the first page I was hooked. Interesting characters you will fall in love with from the beginning and love even more at the end. The story is enjoyable and a bit emotional especially for what Logan and Prudence had to go through keeping based on their unorthodox circumstances. The storyline is interesting and will captivate and draw you in. A Must Read! I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.

The story of Logan and Prudence may start off in a children's home but then it moves into the real world where work and decisions have to be made. Is Prudence up to the challenge and will Logan be willing to help despite his concerns. This book is sweet but also hot in places and shows the challenges of starting out on your own. Loved the book and characters as they are well written with an interesting plot.

This had a great storyline and plot with very likable complex characters that are just trying to find their way at that second chance in life after the first has failed them, Logan being Prudence's councillor form a very strong bond and attraction to one another but the pressure is there, what will people think. I loved the dual POV and the description of the characters and their chemistry was hot.The ending was perfection. I voluntarily read a readers copy of this book

I’m torn between loving this book and being offended. Love is Love and we all find it in the stingers of places, sometimes borderline questionable. Part of me is warm and fuzzy at the love cultivated between Logan and Pru. They’ve learned from each other and have grown together. The other part makes me feel a bit off knowing she was his underage patient and crossed the line with someone not mentally and emotionally stable. 3.75 stars for me.
