This is a compendium of four short fantasy stories. I really enjoyed each one and the way the writer could get you right into the story so quickly. Each story was about a different type of fantasy. I enjoyed the variety and the authors imagination and creativity was amazing The characters for each story were interesting and filled with personality. The one thing that linked the stories, besides their paranormal nature, was that fact that the main character felt something was missing from their lives or they were searching for something. I really liked reading these short stories.

Very short stories about the supernatural world. These stories are only a few pages long but are about people finding out they are supernaturals, or finding out that the supernatural world exists. In several stories the main character is reunited with their lost relatives. In one love story a ghost finds eternity with her husband. These short stories are an ideal read for a quick (paranormal) romance fix, perhaps during a tea/coffee break or when commuting by train or bus, or even during a leisurely breakfast. My favourite was the mermaid story, but all of them were delightful, full of warmth, with intriguing characters and emotional depth.
