When people threw huge praises on baghyaraj sir for his screenplay, actually I was not able to understand the reason for it. But reading the book I can truly understand the brilliance. The book starts with a intro and it does not go even a inch out of the intend of it. It is difficult to stay on course without going hither and thither, for achieving that as a book writer baghyaraj sir scores great marks.

The book also stays true to the intro given. It list down all different considerations that the director does when he thinks on a story and screenplay. Where the author gets it right is when he not only tells the point, he also explains it and gives an example from one of his films (where he has used the technique). It requires lot of self analysis to come out with one such detailing or he would have used the points multiple times to have come by practice. In either case it is an awesome outcome which deserves accolades.

One can understand why sir is a great director and a good teacher. With such great writing quality, felt he could have come up with more writing or teaching. But sticking to the review, a brilliant book on screenplay and story telling / thinking. Go for it will be a great knowledge provider.
