I did learn a few things about being a Leo, but most of it I already knew. This was a fun, quick read but I recommend it to beginners. I was hoping for more details.
Honestly, i’ve found that it’s extremely stereotypical. I have done a fair amount of research on astrology, and this book is only the basics. As i’m interested in more advanced astrology, I already knew most of what was in the book and didn’t identify with a grand part of the “leo extrovert. The entertainer”. I’m more of an introvert and I’d rather die than entertain people. The book seems to be very general and sometimes incorrect (or uses the wrong words) like for example: [If you don’t fit your sun sign you are an] “odd misfit”. In general I don’t recommend if you already are familiar with astrology, but if you are looking to get into it, it would be a great start! The only thing I would say, make sure to fact check and take everything with a grain of salt. There are some large stereotypes and general information (that can be false in some scenarios) so be careful! **also the reason I gave 2 stars

It’s a fun little introduction to your star sign, but you will be disappointed if you were hoping for a guide with practical advice. The provided examples are boisterous, extravagant and hilariously unrealistic. Each chapter is very short, lacking depth and substance. If it was titled differently, it would be alright, but it does not live up to the title “the art of living well and finding happiness”. It does not deliver on its promise. Another bad sign was that it took me 1 year and 8 months to get through this tiny little book because it could only hold my attention for a few pages at a time. Overall, I’d recommend it as a fun read or gag gift for beginners in astrology.
"A sunny and bright personality, warm and passionate, big hearted and generous, loyal and courageous, the Leo character comes into the world bursting with energy and ready to be noticed."
A simple and cute read!
This quick little guide covers the general attributes of a Leo's personalty. Their strengths and weaknesses. Motivation. Aspirations in life.
There are other smaller chapters that compare your romantic compatibility with other star signs, traveling destinations a Leo would thrive in, film, book, and movie recommendations.
Not that I didn't already know, but Capricorns (my husband's sign) and Leos are Soul Mates!
I related with most of the information, except on a couple of things.
This Leo is not stylish, doesn't care for luxury items, and certainly isn't motivated by money.
I do however thrive on praise and recognition. Am confident. Always striving to succeed. And am ridiculously competitive.
And yes, like any other Leo I can be bossy and have quite the ego at times.
There's a a lot of good information here. The guide doesn't go into too much detail, giving you a pretty surface level explanation but it's efficient enough for those just starting to explore their sign.
This was a really easy read but I still enjoyed being able to read about myself:) I wouldn’t take this as a serious read though, it was just something to do on a long drive (it still didn’t last as long as the drive). The best thing about this book was probably being able to see what lines up with my supposed zodiac characteristics. Other than that it definitely is not something to invest in. Unless you are like me and think zodiacs are interesting and fun.
I am a Leo and have always found it interesting to read about my sign. It has been a long time since I have read a book like this. I would recommend this book! It was great and so true!
My coworker got me this book because she got one for herself and it was very nice of her. A little quick easy read. Just a nice thing someone did for me. Nothing special, but it was enjoyable even though there was some editing errors.
One of my best reads in 2019. Informative, small, and enjoyable. It helped me understand my star sign more, though I didn`t agree or relate to many things. I simply loved it!
An indepth, yet succinct exploration of this star sign, for those who have either a passing or keen interest in astrology. I found the information to be well presented and easily digestible. I will search for all the others in this series.
I love this book it helps me understand my sun sign and how to look after myself. I'm leo so I like to be leader and help others as well but I can be a bit bossy sometimes lol
