Sometimes dreams change…and sometimes it takes a dream reader to make it happen.

When Jaden Wilde’s girlfriend turns down his marriage proposal just months before he receives his master’s in counseling, he’s convinced that it’s cold feet. Until he learns that her no came at the advice of a new age “dream reader.” But Arsula’s hardly the woo-woo hippie his scholarly mind imagined. She’s charming, smart, and uncannily perceptive. And before long, he’s drawn to her—despite his ongoing skepticism for how her practice works.

Arsula’s intuitions led her to Birch Bay not to guide Jaden’s girlfriend—but to guide him to his best life possible. As the odd one out in an unsupportive family, Arsula can relate to the struggle to find one’s path, and she wants to see Jaden with the woman of his dreams. Although she’s cautious of being the rebound girl, what she’s starting to feel for him is too real to ignore.

When Jaden’s own volatile family issues come to a head and his doubts are made resoundingly clear, Arsula worries she’s misread the signs. Maybe they’re all wrong for each other. Maybe he should be with his ex. She’s supported him, but if he can’t believe in her, how will they ever find out if they’re truly meant to be?

Author Kim Law surprised me with this one! Do you believe in intuition, or dream reading, or following your gut? If you do, this story will be right up your alley. And if not, this story will make a believer out of you!

Jaden Wilde is home in Montana for his brother’s wedding. Things happen that break or break up things (read the story, lots of fun and feels here!). And Arsula is there doing what she does. She’s awesome, even if I do mispronounce her name Every Time in my head.

If you’ve been to Montana with this author before, you know the Wilde family and their story. If this is your first visit, you are in for a treat - and after you’re done with this one, you’ll want to go back and start the series from the beginning, just because it’s so good! Enjoy this story, have some cherries (or a cupcake), and remember to follow your gut!

I received a free advanced copy of this book from the publisher. This is my unbiased and voluntary review.

This is my new favorite in the series! The story is filled with so much emotion and family dramatics that it had me crying at the end of the story. Great cast of characters and I just love the Wilde's family. I really hated to see the story end.

This is the fourth book of the Wilde’s of Birch Bay. The Wilde’s are a large family with six kids. While their mother isn’t in the book, her abusive behavior has shaped all her children’s lives. This book centers around Jaden, the youngest in the family. Jaden comes home from Seattle, where he is finishing his Masters in counseling, to attend he brothers wedding. Right before the wedding, he proposes to his girlfriend Megan, who dumps him. Arsula has a gift, she is able to interpret dreams and help people make positive life decisions. She helped Megan realize that Jaden wasn’t the man for her. After a series of events, Jaden and Arsula are thrown together (drunken almost hookup, Jaden’s compound fracture of the ankle). I have read all the books in the series and enjoyed this one. I really liked Arsula, and enjoyed catching up with the rest of the family. Jaden was harder to like. He was whiny, condescending and cruel to Arsula at times. He did come around in the end, but i just didn’t warm up to him. That is what kept this from being a five star review. I received an ARC of this book from NetGalley for my honest review.

I received this book for free from Publisher in exchange for an honest review. This does not affect my opinion of the book or the content of my review.

A heartbreaking start when our hero’s marriage proposal was turned down and his bitterness consumes him. After an almost one night stand as an act of revenge, Jaden finds himself in an awkward situation. Nursing a broken heart and broken bones, Jaden has to stay with Arsula who annoys him to no end. Yet, he is intrigued and deny it he might, he is attracted to her.

Arsula, on the other hand, is in town for a specific reason. Her intuition says, there is someone in Birch Bay that needs her help and Jaden might be that very soul. Little does she know that her intuition has other plans for her.

I’ll be honest, I didn’t like Jaden at first. His resistance to a new romance annoyed me a little. I understood it, but I was waiting for that moment that he falls on his face stupidly in love with Arsula. Of course, Kim Law made it so that his acceptance of his situation was gradual, and his undoing was a sweet outcome. I couldn’t hate him. He was actually not the idiot he started out to be, but this sweet guy who gives it his all in everything that he does. Yeah, he won my heart.

Along with loss, heartaches and second chances, Kim Law added something more. Call it intuition or fate, but Jaden and Arsula’s HEA had a little help other than just love. Law added a little magic to their story. After all, love is just that sometimes.

I give Montana Dreams 4 1/2 Stars. This is the fourth book in the series and it was kind of different. For some reason I had more trouble connecting to this one than any of the others. Maybe it was just the different vibe that threw me a little. Even the names of the characters were "different".I absolutely loved the cover--and covers mean a lot to me. I also loved the humor in this book.
Jaden, who is studying to be a therapist, is the member of the Wilde family. Each member of the family was touched in negative ways by the narcissistic mother. Arsala is a brilliant woman born into a family of doctors who chooses to go her own way, garnering her the disappointment of her father. She has a gift of being able to decipher dreams and help people find their right path. As a therapist, Jaden thinks her "gift" is a crock of ___ and certainly doesn't believe he needs her input on his life.
They are thrown together under difficult circumstances and are somewhat surprised to feel an attraction to each other, which is almost as strong as their animosity. That makes for an interesting path to togetherness. It's a path of self awareness and discovery for both of them that, of course, leads to a happy ever after.
I'm already anxious for the next book in the series!

Let me start by saying that I firmly believe in people doing or believing anything they want provided it does not negatively affect others. I have no time for religion or psychic abilities and I hate Pernod too but am perfectly happy for you to enjoy them, just leave me out of it. Secondly as I have read the preceding “Wilde’s of Birch Bay” books, I got this one without reading the synopsis, the series tackles serious issues and the very long term and often devastating emotional consequences.

Arsula is not a new character and I admit it is quite some time since I read the previous books but I do not remember finding her quite so obnoxious. I can’t stand any psychic mumbo jumbo and she is so sanctimonious about her “gift” and her calling to “help”. Had she been in the rather less serious “Sugar Springs” novels I might have been a little more tolerant but she does not belong in this one. It is all so unnecessary. I truly despise her and would have abandoned the book after only a few pages had it not been for my familiarity with the series.

Megan and Arsula could easily have been close friends and as such Arsula could have said to her friend that she was wondering if Jaden was the right guy for Megan because Megan didn’t seem to be pining for him while he was away instead of “interpreting her dream”. I’m not too thrilled about Megan being daft enough to believe in all that tosh either. I fully sympathise with poor Jaden, dumped when he produces an engagement ring, which happens to be on his birthday and the day he is officiating at his brother’s wedding. Who could blame the guy for drinking too much and falling into the arms of another woman in an attempt to blot out his pain? I loathed the stupid prelude to the incident which incapacitated him surely something accidental would have worked with a very drunk man. Afterwards Arsula could have taken Jaden in out of common compassion, Megan may have ended the relationship but was still fond of Jaden so for Arsula to take him in and look after him would make sense.

I have tried to finish this book but I just can’t go on. Getting to page 103 has been like pulling teeth and having looked at a review I know I am going to hate the end, there will be no reward for my continued effort, no redemption.

Author Kim Law has once again brought us a story that will burrow into your heart and stay there. Considering when I started this one I wasn't sure I could find the premises I read in the blurb believable, I'd say that's pretty high praise of her writing. This is the fourth book in the Wildes of Birch Bay series but it is easily read standalone. Jaden like the rest of the Wilde's still needs to deal with issues left over from his mother's psychological abuse. He's a wonderful strong character and I enjoyed watching the relationship between him and Arsula evolve and develop. This is a fresh and unique story that I think everyone will enjoy. I definitely recommend.

OMG! This book was so good.

Having read the first few books in this series I was expecting a captivating read. Then as I listened to the first chapter I started to worry that this might not be the case. But thank goodness I kept on. Because things kept getting more and more interesting. And the last chapter, was Wow! Just Wow! That and the need for half a box of tissues. Tearjerker in the best way.

Since I don't want to do spoilers. I can only tell you that at times you might want to smack Jaden upside the head. But he has some reasons for his stupidity. And others, you want to hug him and smack him upside the head. But you've got to love him. And he does know how to apologize in the best way.

I highly recommend this book and series to anyone who likes a good contemporary romance with depth.

I received this book free from the author and publisher for an honest review. Most of the time I love Kim Law’s books, the other books I’ve read are so good and I just fell in love with the characters and their stories. But this one was not like that at all.

This book is the 4th in the Wildes of Birch Bay series and it’s the story of Jaden. I was so looking forward to going back to that world because I just loved the other books in the series. I had so many issues with what was going on and it made me very angry and I thought of not reading to the end. I was hoping that things would end well and I have to say I did like the ending a lot but I don’t think the ending made up for the problems I saw in the story.

I do want to say I absolutely love the cover. It’s beautiful and I think the models match the descriptions of the characters in the book. (That’s one of my pet peeves with covers) The descriptions of the area are also wonderful and I would love to visit or even move to a place like Birch Bay. I think Kim Law does an amazing job writing her stories and she always has a hea, which is one of the reasons I love the romance genre. And the way Arsula uses her gift to help people is great and I so believe in things like that.

I think I may be the only one who has a bad reaction to this book. I feel it is full of abusive acts that should not be in a book in this day and age. Jaden acts like an ass and Arsula retaliates by throwing things at him. This is not how I want my heroine to act in a romance book. And I really couldn’t find anything good about Jaden.

Now on to the issues. Here are a few of the notes I had while reading this book.

Loc 222 – "she was beautiful." Of course, she is. It’s almost a written rule that the main female character needs to be beautiful.

Loc 451 – “drop dead gorgeous” Again, it needs to be mentioned that she is beautiful.

Loc 1248 – “grown men didn’t throw tantrums.” Really? In what world does he live in?

Loc 1533 – “then maybe you should get back to work so you can make payments on that mortgage.” The first note I have of Jaden being a complete ass.

Loc 1536 – “her entire face transforming into the type of beauty Jaden suspected women might kill for.” Yeah, because women are so superficial that they would kill each other for looks.

Loc 1538 – “the way she looked when she smiled was probably why so many people stopped in to see her all the time. Even the women were awestruck.” No no no. Ok, I get it we are supposed to love Arsula because she is sooo pretty and wonderful. And, yes, I know I am not a beauty at all but I’m not going to fall all over a woman because she is pretty.

Loc 1540 – “her body stretching out as she did, both Jaden and Tim held their breath. Her sweater rode up,…” Ok, ogling it is.

Loc 1607 – "“both women snorted and then fell into a fit of giggles. “I know.” Arsula attempted to shush them again. “But really, it wasn’t funny. It still isn’t funny. He couldn’t get it up”.” Ok, laughing at others it is.

Loc 1687 – “and possibly I threw a lamp after that – just as his foot reached for the first step. Her friends cackled with laughter” Is this a case of girls will be girls? Boys sexually abuse girls and girls physically abuse boys by throwing things at them? She threw a lamp at him, among other things, and he ends up falling down the stairs breaking his ankle bad enough the bone sticks out and he needs surgery. Wow, what a hilarious thing to happen!

Loc 2180 – “being a circus attraction?” Jaden and Arsula are again having an argument. So Jaden attacks her gift and Arsula throws down the screwdriver in her hand and it cuts into the desk she is trying to put together for Jaden. I think she has some anger issues.

Loc 2227 – “but if you’re hell-bent on worrying about someone…” She has a problem with cursing. Her Aunt Sul didn’t like it so she doesn’t like it. I'll try to refrain.

Loc 2296 – “dang it”. Well, that makes it better. Cussing isn’t the words used it is the intent behind the words.

Loc 2475 – “A little deranged in the head,” So now she is deranged. This is someone who he is starting to think of as being terrific.

Loc 2690 – “His ex might be brilliant, but she was simply delusional on this one.” Jaden is talking about his ex Megan. So she has a different idea than him so she is delusional, too. Everyone in this book is crazy, except him.

Loc 2875 – “He just didn’t happen to buy into her actually being able to “help” people.” He still doesn’t believe her. If I was Arsula, this would make me run so fast and far from him.

Loc 2896 – “guess again, lula-bell.” He is using her nickname in a derogatory way. And she lets him treat her this way. Fuck you asshole! Oh, wait, she doesn’t like cussing. Oops, I couldn't refrain.

Loc 3108 – “I’m going to take that bell and ram it right up your –.” Oh, yes, that’s where I would want to put it too. This is where I wrote “is he really supposed to be the hero of the story?”

Loc 3196 – ““Yes, sir.” A flicker of heat passed through his features, but Arsula didn’t let on that she’d noticed.” Oh, ok, we are going there. He gets turned on by that but still believes she is crazy. Yeah, that’s one heck of a relationship.

Loc 3287 – ““You look scared.” “I look concerned,” he corrected.” Arsula has dared him to meet her upstairs. She thinks it makes no sense that he wouldn’t want to come upstairs. Stupid man, he only fell down the stairs before and it ended badly. Sorry Arsula, you behaving like that doesn’t make sense to me.

Loc 3293 – “She could go get the laptop and bring it down, she supposed. That would be the logical thing to do. Instead, she decided she’d rather make him work for it. See him want it.” Oh, fuck me! Seriously?

Loc 3298 – “Crestfallen would describe his look perfectly.” She is still trying to lure him up the stairs. This is my note for this scene: “I don’t want to but I will finish the book. I want to throw my kindle across the room.” She claims to want to help people but she wants Jaden to climb the stairs.

Loc 3904 – “she picked up her cell phone and chunked him in the back of the head.” I’ll just leave this here.

There were more notes but I felt they were repeats of some of the notes above. I was just so disappointed in this book. The other books in this series and the other series that I've read are so good. I just had a big problem with this one. I can't wait to read whatever Kim Law has out next.

I received an advance copy of this book from Net Galley, and I voluntarily wrote an honest review.

This is the fourth book in the “The Wildes of Birch Bay. Montana Dreams is the story of two imperfect people who attempt to cope with life and love. Jaden Wilde meets Arsula Moretti at the wedding of his brother and Arsula’s best friend.

Before the wedding, Jaden asks his longtime girlfriend to marry him. He is so upset, he gets drunk and attempts to have sex with Arsula after the wedding. Unfortunately, he is too wasted to be able to perform.

When he leaves the next morning, Arsula is angry at his attitude and throws several objects at him. One of them causes Jaden to fall down the snowy steps outside of her apartment.

Jaden has a compound fracture which requires surgery and many weeks to recuperate. He refuses to stay with his brothers, and, instead, decides to stay with Arsula.

Unfortunately, Jaden spends the rest of the book complaining about Arsula’s “stupid” career and plotting ways to get his girlfriend back. I had a lot of trouble liking this man who chose to stay with Arsula and is totally dependent on her, yet, openly, shows his discontent and disdain for everything she says and does.

I like Arsula because she is a confident woman who doesn’t care what people say about her and her ability to read dreams. She is independent, and, in fact, turns her back on her own family, so she can make her own career choice without their influence.

Based on Jaden’s and Arsula’s contrasting personalities and attitudes, I found it difficult to root for a relationship between Jaden and Arsula . Also, I found it difficult to understand Arsula’s growing attraction for Jaden.

Truthfully, I was a little lost when I first started this book. It took me a while to be able to catch onto the dynamics of the Wilde family and how their mother’s death affected all of them. Therefore, even though I finally caught on and was able to enjoy the growing relationship between Jaden and Arsula, I think that, had I read the first three books before I read this one, I would have enjoyed the book a lot more.

My recommendation: Read the books in chronological order. I believe my experience would have been much different if I had read the books that way.

I really liked the general vibe of this book and loved Arsula, but I found Jaden a bit of an annoying whinging character and had trouble warming to him. I know he had issues from his childhood but he really acted like a spoilt brat a lot of the time - although he did really redeem himself by the end of the book but it took him most of the book to get there!

Arsula has moved to town fairly recently and settled in well, helping people interpret their dreams. I really liked Arsula's character, she was very warm and friendly, always helping people, and yet really fiery as well!

Jaden is back in town for a wedding, and whilst in town proposes to his long-term girlfriend, Megan, who turns him down as she had been having doubts and, after having her dream read by Arsula, decides it's time for them to part. Jaden can't believe it and ends up getting very drunk at the wedding, with Arsula, ends up at her apartment, throws a hissy fit the next morning and ends up falling down a flight of stairs (aided by a lamp Arsula threw at him!), breaking his ankle and staying in Birch Bay in a room just off his sister's office, looked after in part by Arsula.

The rest of the book is about the love/hate relationship going on with Arsula and Jaden, with Jaden slowly (very!) mellowing towards Arsula's 'gift', especially as towards the end of the book she really helped his family out with a premonition.

The ending was really, really lovely and Jaden finally redeemed himself, which made me feel much better towards the whole story. The Birch Bay series itself sounds really interesting, and I really like Kim Law's style of writing, so I will definitely be looking into reading books about the other members of the family.

Reality is always more difficult to deal with than our dreams. And this story explores and exploits all those points. We know what we want to happen and if we think about it long enough and hard enough, it will happen, right? That’s what the main character seems to think and, come on, he’s a guy so of course he expects it all to go his way! I just love that this author isn’t afraid to deviate from the typical storyline and make the characters sweat a bit, think a lot, and then love with everything they have!

Jaden proposes to his girlfriend, gets dumped moments before his brother’s wedding, and then proceeds to get drunk. And wakes up in the morning with the bridesmaid he escorted down the aisle. That’s not so unusual but when the woman sharing the bed start throwing things at him because he’s being a jerk, he heads for the door and falls down the stairs after being hit with a lamp.

With a broken ankle and nowhere to stay, Arsula offers to let him stay in the converted house that she uses as an office. It’s only fair since she’s the one who caused the accident.

The rest of the story you have to read – I can’t even begin to summarize it for you! Just know that you will thoroughly enjoy it!

I received an ARC from the author for an honest and unbiased review. No compensation was promised or received for the review.

This book has both cursing (including f-bombs) and on-page sex. Neither overwhelms the book, but if you find either of them off putting use your own judgment before reading. This is book four of the Wildes of Birch Bay series, and although reading at least Montana Cherries will give you a lot of meaningful background, this book can stand completely alone.

In the interest of full disclosure, I was not a fan of Arsula from the previous book. Actually, to be totally honest, I was hoping that she wouldn't wind up with any of the Wilde siblings and mentioned it in my review because I just don't care for woo woo stuff in my contemporary romance, so I found her “mystical powers” annoying rather than charming. (That's just my opinion, please don't bash me for my personal taste.) That said, I really, REALLY liked her in this book. Yeah, she still is into the woo woo and I still rolled my eyes at the cheese factor of it all, but I very much liked Arsula as a person and the way that she handled herself. I also liked how she told Jaden off every time he insulted her abilities. It's quite a statement to Ms. Law's writing skills that she could make me side with Arsula over Jaden, even when I kind of agreed with the thought behind what he was saying a lot of the times. I found myself rooting for her hardcore because Arsula was funny, likable, a little hot tempered, but also really sweet and kind. And then there was Jaden. Ah Jaden. He was prickly and a little childish at times – something that he readily admits in his own mind so this isn't me insulting him – but he was also so fragile and so incredibly good that I spent most of the book wanting to hug him because “sometimes even morons need hugs”. Knowing his background and having read the previous books, I absolutely adored Jaden and his grumpiness.

Of course, because this is a Wildes of Montana book, the Wilde family plays a huge part in this story, adding so much awesome to this already great love story. I seriously adore this family, and every scene that happened between the siblings or any scene that had Jenna and Haley in it, made me just crave more of all of them. (The stuff happening with Mr. Wilde however, was beyond heartbreaking and I am dreading that part of the future books.)

I cannot wait for Cord and Nate's books, even though it will mean an end to this series and these siblings that I love so much.

I would highly recommend this story to anyone who has read the previous books – you're going to love Jaden & Arsula – or to anyone who likes a fun opposites attract story. You cannot go wrong with a Kim Law story.

This is a story of growth, acceptance, love & family. Jaden is set in his ways & is selfish. Subconsciously, he has issues stemming from his narcissistic mother & his “absent” father. He’s never really felt loved. His girlfriend even refused to marry him because of a dream & the person that helped her figure out what it meant.

Arsula has a gift. She helps people interpret their dreams. It makes some people look at her oddly. Her father is making her miserable because he doesn’t feel she is living up to her potential. Arsula feels she has been brought to town to “heal” Jaden.

What fireworks! Arsula seems so calm & loving but boy can Jaden make her furious. Their chemistry is intense from the beginning but when they open their mouths, they really provoke reactions from each other. Jaden becomes furious & attacks when ever Arsula gets too close to the truth. His comments are designed to hurt Arsula’s soul when said. Her character is more forgiving than I would be. Arsula is more intelligent than people give her credit for but she needs to trust in herself & be brave about trying something new. This was not a relationship I would have seen but they pull each other out of their comfort zones & compliment each other.

Thank you to NetGalley for providing me with an ARC of this book and also to the Kim Law that selected me to her review team. The following is my honest opinion of the latest Birch Bay novel from Kim Law.

I have read the other books in this series and was very excited to have the opportunity to review this book. Arsula was a difficult name for me and I seemed to spend more time stumbling over it but based on the dedication page, the author had good reason to use that name. The name itself plays an important role throughout the book, but even though I’ve finished, I still feel like I’m pronouncing it wrong.

The story itself is a great romance between two very opposite characters. Jaden needed Arsula to challenge him and make him realize his character flaws. I felt sorry for Arsula because of the way he talked to her when he’d get upset she didn’t deserve it. She held her own by chucking things at him but that isn’t really a healthy way to handle her anger.

I lost myself in this book and didn’t want to put it down. I was eager to use any free time I could find to get in another chapter- I highly suggest reading the entire series because why stop with just one. The entire Wilde family is worth getting to know!

I am looking forward to reading the next book by this great author.

Jaden Wilde is devastated when his girlfriend turns down his marriage proposal. He needs someone to love him. Growing up he and his siblings were mistreated. He has never overcome the devastation. Coming back to Birch Bay is always difficult. It triggers to many bad memories. When he meets Arsula at his brother's wedding, he finds her attractive and ends up spending the night. The upside is they have amazing chemistry. The downside he ends up with a broken ankle. What happens next is an emotional story about facing our past and getting a second chance. Jaden was a difficult person to like. He was quick to lash out when he felt threatened. I understood why, but it still made me want to shake him. When he was with Arsula, I could feel their deep connection. It bothered me that he wouldn't accept that she had a special gift. Arsula was a special character. I was impressed how her dreams were her guide to helping people. I liked how she stood her ground. This was a book that I couldn't put down. The story was amazing. I liked the characters, the setting and the sharp dialogue. I'm enjoying The Wildes of Birch Bay. Kim Law has written a compelling series.

My Review 5 STARS
**My thanks to NetGalley and Montlake Romance, for providing me with a free copy for an honest review**

This is the fourth book in the series and although it could be read as a stand alone, i feel you would miss too much of the family dynamic and the larger plot if you do not read the previous books.

Jaden is a scholar and is studying to get his master’s in counseling, however when his meets Arsula after the breakup of his almost fiancée because of her meddling in his life, its safe to say that he thinks her talents reading dreams is a big load of rubbish.

Arsula is used to being made fun of, however she only finds out why she is in Birch Bay when she finds Jaden, who has only come back for a wedding.

The emotions pull at you, especially with Jadens family past and Arsula acts well considering who childish Jaden sometimes acts, even if she does throw a few things at him.

I enjoyed this book immensly and get the feeling that the next book in the series is going to involve Nate.

I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book!
It is a captivating, intensely emotional
& heartfelt story. It really pulled all my heartstrings. It's truly a beautiful
written story.
If you've read the Wildes of Birch Bay
from the beginning, you have an understanding of the back storyline.
If you haven't, I would really recommend
to start with Montana Cherries.
Jaden is the youngest of the siblings.
Right before his brother's wedding,
Jaden girlfriend of three years broke up with him. It started an intense chain of events in his life.
Arsula has a special gift. She woke up one morning from a dream, not knowing who or where, but that someone needed
her. The where was Birch Bay. It wasn't
till the night of the wedding, that Arsula's
intuition's told who she was here for.
I loved everything about the book!
Jaden & Arsula steal your heart from
the very first pages to the last.
Highly Recommend

The Wilde family has had its share of trouble beginning when the now adults of this series were children. Montana Dreams shows that the problems do not automatically go away once adulthood is reached. Instead of being a downer kind of series Kim Law gives us stories of hope, recovery and love. In Montana Dreams there is also a bit of mysticism. What a delightful surprise, keeping Jaden and the reader on their toes.

Arsula is everything that one would not expect as the “dream reader”. She is refreshing and far from the old cliches that could have been easily used. However, that would not have made the book such a great read. I am glad Ms. Law decided not to do this.

Montana Dreams is a charming story that should be relished instead of just read,

An ARC of the book was given to me by the publisher through Net Galley which I voluntarily chose to read and reviewed. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

I was so happy to return to Wilde family. They have all gone through so much as children but somehow they have come out and succeeded or have they? Do you believe in the interpretation of dreams? Jaden Wilde has returned home for a wedding and finds himself suddenly single after his girlfriend breaks up with him. Arsula has arrived in Birch Bay to share her gift of dream interpreting, and now she feels the draw to heal Jaden.

The chemistry is instantaneous between the two but Arsula has her work cut out in Jaden. At times I just wanted to reach out and bop Jaden on the head for his selfish demanding behavior. Arsula is so patient in him but also has her own problems that she needs to work out. I really loved how their relationship developed and grew.

I highly recommend this book. This is part of a series but can be read as a stand alone but then you will want to read the rest of the Wilde family. I just love this cover!!!

This is the fourth book in Kim Law's Birch Bay series. I think that this one is the best of all of them! Jaden Wilde is still struggling with what happened when his mother died when he was young. He saw his mother dead and his father emotionally abandoned him when he needed him the most.
Since his mother's death, all he seemed to be looking for was love and acceptance. The story starts with his brother's wedding. Jaden proposes to his girlfriend, Megan, but she declines saying that he wasn't the one. Arsula helped Megan interpret her dreams and feels bad for Jaden. Events that day bring Jaden and Arsula together. he breaks his ankle. Arsula ends up taking him in to help with his recovery. Over time and circumstances, there is an attraction between the two of them.

Jaden and Arsula are such opposites, they don't see love coming, until it's too late! Jaden's long-time girlfriend breaks up with him when he asks her to marry him; talk about not being on the same page! He's smarting from that when he meets Arsula and has a one-night stand (or so he thinks). However, he insults her has he's leaving her bedroom the next morning and she gets so angry, she throws a lamp at him (among other things), which causes him to fall down the stairs and break his ankle. I enjoyed this book very much. Especially the banter between Arsula and Jaden. If you are a fan of the Wildes of Birch Bay series, you won't be disappointed. If you haven't read any of the other books in this series, it includes characters from the previous books, but the story line does not depend on your knowing them outside this book. Kim Laws does a great job with Montana Dreams. Although this is a series book, it can be read without having read its predecessors. The book covers some tough issues while remaining entertaining. Initially, I thought Arsula was a black sheep of her family with eccentrics mixed in; however, as you read on, she is a wonderful, smart, and compassionate character. The fact that she can read dreams is the topping to the otherwise great character. Jaden is a bit of a lost soul, but he finally finds he way to the underlying family issues that causes his dysfunction. I realize this review does not provide specifics or teasers; however, this is a great book, and I don't want to spoil the fun in reading it.

In full disclosure, I received a free, advanced copy of this book from the publisher via NetGalley; however, this is my unbiased and voluntary review.

We are back in Montana and the Wilde siblings. Siblings that suffered in their childhood due to a narcissist mother and a weak father. Those childhood experiences affected them very much and as adults , still have residual effects.
This time the story belongs to the youngest, Jaden, a young man about to get his master’s in counseling. He’s in town for his brother’s wedding and to propose to his girlfriend. But things don’t go as expected .
Arsula is an intuitive and as far as Jaden is concerned , the one to blame for his girlfriend’s decision to turn down his proposal.
As we read the story, we are reminded that the experiences of our childhood will affect us as adults. Especially when the people that are to suppose to love us and care for us , really don’t.
Though not my favorite in the series, it was still a good story.
I was entrusted this copy by Netgalley and Montlake Romance. The opinions expressed are solely my own.

Kim Law knocked it out of the park with this one. Montana Dreams is a great read. This is a continuation of The Wildes of Birch Bay series. This book can be read as a standalone, however I would suggest reading the rest of the series to get a feel for the dynamics of the Wildes family. I was surprised by the different direction that Ms. Law took in this story. Jaden, just getting over a heartbreak, meets an unusual woman, Arsula. Arsula is not sure she wants to be the girl after Jaden’s breakup, but is it undeniable? I highly recommend getting yourself a copy of this book! This is by far my favorite book in the series at this point.

This is the fourth book of The Wildes of Birch Bay series - Jaden’s story. Jaden is the youngest of the siblings in this family, all of whom are dealing with the baggage left behind by their deceased, mentally ill mother. Jaden is finishing his grad school program and comes home for his older brother’s wedding. Just before the wedding he proposes to his long-time girlfriend. We get to accompany Jaden on his journey to learn why his proposal was rejected and how he gets from that to “happily ever after”. I was thoroughly hooked by the first three books and just as engaged by this one. I can’t wait for the next in the series.

I received a free, advance copy of this book from the publisher via NetGalley in exchange for my unbiased review.

Montana Dreams is the fourth book in Kim Law’s fantastic series, The Wildes of Birch Bay and an excellent addition. When I received an invitation from the publisher, via Net-Galley, I eagerly agreed to read and review. My opinions are my own and not influenced in any way.

Montana Dreams touched my heart from the first page to the last. I became enmeshed with the hero and heroine immediately. The story is compelling, and the pacing is excellent. Ms. Law certainly knows how to pull her readers in and keep them to the end.

This Jaden’s love story, the youngest Wilde. His character is complex. On the surface, he appears to be well adjusted, but underneath, the pain of feeling like he would never have anyone love him, and place him first in their life, will never happen. That’s why he takes Megan’s refusal to his marriage proposal so hard. Arsula is perfect for him. She gets him in a way no one has ever done.

Arsula’s character has her own demons. She believes she can never live up to her father’s expectations. He doesn’t understand her chosen career path. When she meets Jaden, her feelings of guilt for causes him the break his leg leads her to offer her home for his recuperation. The chemistry is off the charts and neither of them can deny or understand their attraction for each other.

If you are looking for a novel that has more substance than most stories, then you will love Montana Dreams as much as I did. It was great getting to see the other characters from the previous three books in the series, and I can’t wait to read the next one. The Wilde family is a fascinating one. Happy reading!

I love the Wildes of Birch Bay. Montana Dreams can be read as a stand alone But I recommend the whole series! I fell in love with this family from the very first book.

The story between Jaden & Arsula it was unique and made me laugh at times.

I loved the quirkiness of Arsula and I loved how I was drawn in once again into this family’s saga
Kim Law did it again and wrote another wonderful story that I was sad to see end. But happy because there has to be another Birch Bay book in the future.
